The app was working perfectly fine up until a week ago. Now I cannot view any images, videos or files I have backed up on the SD card, previously I was able to view with no problems. Only instance I can remember of tampering with the app, was when deleting the cache of the app, which should not result on this outcome. Please fix this issue!
Update: dropping two stars for the hasty contact permisson sandwiched between all the others so clearly explained. If I wanted sneaky Id use Google. This is not the first app for moving stuff between my phones internal memory and an SD card that I have tried. But it will most certainly be the last. The interface is self explanatory, theres a button for anything I wanna do and its FAST! 'Nuff said..........
At first I thought the app was working as I had set up weekly automatic backup and it always completed with 100% and when I checked the SD card it seemed like everything was on there. It turns out, nothing was being saved to the micro SD card, and I lost a bunch of important photos and other items. Support was completely unhelpful. I bought the SD card so this exact thing wouldn't happen because I had a similar issue before on a previous phone. Never again will I trust SanDisk or Samsung.
Great for transferring selected files from phone to PC, better than certain pre-installed apps for either device. Somewhat glitchy, but updating now, hopefully they fixed that. SanDisk dual drive gets super hot and uses up phone battery more quickly than usual when plugged in. Wish I could figure a faster way to organize the files I need to move (not select all, but I don't want to individually click each photo either), but thats probably more user error than anything
Nothing like the pics shown on Google. ONLY about 1/4 of the items on the sd show up in the app. The design is terrible and not user friendly. I just emailed the developer. Hopefully they can fix whatever is wrong with it. The other reviews look great. I would love it too, if it functioned like the other ones shown on Google. BUT MINE CERTAINLY DOES NOT.
Easy and powerful back-ups to SD card, and a lot more. This new version easily connects the phone to SD card, Google Drive and MsOne Drive. Great! One issue, where is the + sign for creating folders? This is really important! If you can help me out I'll change my rating to a 5.
Easy intuitive setup and more importantly an amazingly fast backup. Another nice feature is the ability to peruse all my backed up photos effortlessly. One feature I would like to see is a simple tools to enhance, edit, and or rotate photos.
When I first used my OTG, I accidentally removed it without unmounting it. Ever since then, I kept receiving a notif about restarting whenever I mount it on my device. I thought formatting both my phone and the OTG would solve it, but I was wrong. My System UI still sends me the same msg that goes "Restart your phone. A USB storage device was removed unsafely. To prevent your phone from restarting unexpectedly, save unsaved data and restart now."
Good enough, but there is no eject flashdisk in it app. Yes there was in app but lately is nothing i hope there is improvement or repairing on that case. And can you make that choice for the moving file or copy file in file manager i think it very usefull when you moving file in your choice likely there is no other option when you do that.
Excellent storage app. It improves my phone's space, it makes keeping things backed up 10 times easier, and there are no glaring issues I've experienced. 'Nuff said.
It's a very solid app. I would not want to be without it. The cleaning out of clutter files is great. The backup function helped when I changed phones.
Although all pictures and videos are shown in the directory, none of them is supported by the cell phone. If I check on the old phone is still functional but not on new. Useless.....
Used to work, now it wants access to the root directory, and when I give it, it says cannot complete, and wants me to give it root access to something called parallel storage ace 99. Well, that doesn't exist, so, uninstalled.
Awesome file manager app! Seriously even the music player is the best one I have found! So good that I wish the devs would just code this as a music player option so I can set it as my default music app instead of having to open my songs from within the app itself. Is there a suggestion box somewhere I can submit this type of request????
SanDisk's memory zone app works well with the flash drive to give the opportunity to select what you prefer to keep and what to dispose off your phone. It has been so helpful in managing the space on my phone. I recommend this app for anyone in need of such service for backup and cleaning of your devices.
Great for interactions with a SanDisk USB drive or SD card and your mobile phone or tablet. Only thing that I would change is a way to disable the notification that your phone storage is over 60% especially when you have 6+GBs free space
Like this App. Let's me see what is in my files and move them to the Storage Card whenever I want. I like it very much that I can watch my videos and it puts the transfered video in the order by the date that I moved them. Thanks for this app!
I had lost lots of photos which are very important to me while organising folders within the app by connecting pendrive,It showed me as the data moved from one folder to another but those photos doesn't exist in that folder, It's a big lose for me by trusting and using this SanDisk app & pendrive
Really like this dual drive. Getting pictures off cell & saving elsewhere is very good, as cells never give enough room for our stuff.... because stuff to run most apps uses all just to run the app, etc.
Seriously ...how many of us still using micro USB? I use a original Samsung micro to usb C adaptor and drive could not be detected. Disappointed such experience company doesn't have forward thinking to offer 2 versions with USB C or Micro. Instead of convenience now its a hassle ! Even the cheap sd card adapter that costs half the price has a choice of TYPE C or MICRO .
I'm using the Memory Zone to move videos to SD card. I do have a default setting in Chrome that directly downloads files there. I believe I can't sync them to the Gallery with OneDrive on Samsung A71.
I've really liked this app right from my previous handset, bcoz of its functionality. Very usefull, cleaning, storage apportioning, and the file management of it, plus gallery sort of_just suberp. Keep it up.
You have suggested my Pixel 6 pro does not provide enough power to access SanDisk 2TB EXtreme SSD. But you failed to noticed my previous comment that the USB Media Explorer App costed $3.99 allowed me to access this SSD without a power insufficiency issue of my phone. Why can't you find out why the Memory Zone App failed to access?
I like it. It's fairly straight-forward, but there are no labled 'instructions', so I had to explore & experiment. I did discover instructions showing how to allow the app to connect with my micro-SD card, but they were not complete & I had to experiment with the whole process until I could figure out how to use it. Overall, as I said, I like it.
Excellent Product, I have over 240gb movies and TV shows all working very well. The one issue I have is when I pause the video or stop it, it always goes back to the beginning of the movie. Also I cannot find another player to combat this as all the other players dont seem to recognise the USB Memory stick. Still it's an extremely nice piece of kit. Hope the above criticism can be rectified soon. Thanks.
Initially, I did not find using the app to be very intuitive, but after about 10 minutes I figured it out and can fluently use it. I find it really easy to share large files this way rather than constantly carrying a cable around and unlocking my phone to allow the computer to access to it. What really sells it for me though is that this software is free and does not contain ads! Perhaps it could use use a facelift with a more streamlined interface, but otherwise it works well and without issue.
This utility has an overall attractive UI and good features. However, for me, I it is "too smart". I am annoyed by the rigid "by file type" structure. While I understand the desire to provide "back up all my photographs" feature, I I have files that do not fall into the provided cstegories/classes. For example, I cannot access several different archives such as zip files, tar files, etc. Also this utility absolutely refuses to show a directory named "Chuwi_downloads".
Works as expected. Tried to use Android file apps for backup but found the UI confusing, couldn't move any files. Tried the SanDisk SW that came with the 128GB drive and it works Great! I'm just doing manual moves but no problems. Nice to have SW with hardware that adds value rather than wastes your time. Tip, if confused, hold your finger still for 2-3 seconds on a file you want to copy or move. It gives options from there.
