Used this last year and it was great, this year it won't bring up the photo you select, it tells you there is an error and select another photo, doesn't matter what you select it comes up with an error telling you to select another. And I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. Hi, I see your message and thank you for responding, and I took you advice and uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it still gives the same message, saying 'there was an error trying to load the image, try another', but tried several but still get the same message. It will work if you take a photo direct in to the app, but does not work from photos in the gallery.
I had this a few years ago and it worked perfectly. downloaded it again and paid for one of the scenes, only when I took a picture and clicked process nothing happens and it locks my phone out. I want a REFUND for the candy cane scene I purchased as the app doesn't work!!!!! stay clear everyone do not download this app!
Used it previous years and it worked great. I'm trying to upload a picture to add the elf and it keeps saying error. Tried lots of different pictures. If I take one using the app camera it stretches the picture and doesn't look accurate. Any ideas?
As with other reviews, in previous years it's been perfect. This year they're obviously not supporting the app so are taking your money but not giving you anything. The scenes just sit on 'downloading' forever. Not great.
Bought the packs NONE WORK! paid for the 2015 pack to entertain my four year old- NONE of them are working. Free scene worked fine.previous years but this year absolutely nothing is processing! Takes picture fine, does not process at all, stays stuck at 0%. Not happy at all- please fix or refund!
This app has got progressively worse over the last few years. It is unable to process a single photo this year, whereas last year it simply struggled for ages to process each photo.
Have used for the past few years with no problems. Have tried different "scenes" this year but nothing is working, just attempting to process constantly.
Used to be a brilliant app to get kids excited for Christmas but this year its like its been neglected as its getting stuck on making magic happen screen with a persistent notification that I can't get rid of. Please fix as this was an amazing app.
Worked perfect last few years then this year doesnt open at all and I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but that doesn't work either. Currently have a disappointed wee boy who keeps checking for elf videos ☹
Terrible, take the picture then app freezes and won't process the scene. Loved it last few years and my kids pleaded with me to catch Santa again this year but I guess they'll be disappointed as this app won't work!
I've had this app every year and shared it with my son. Everyday was a new experience. Since the app has been updated we cannot use it please fix it soon because it will be the first year my son goes without it.
It was download on my phone for no more than 3 minutes before I uninstalled it. It just froze up my entire device and I had to restart my device to uninstall the app.... It's just not worth trouble.
DOES NOT WORK get a refund! Go through the Play Store for a refund if you have bought in app purchases. I know its not much money but on the principal that these developers are taking money for an app they aren't even supporting is disgusting. I have received a refund without any questions asked so Google Play Store know what's going on and yet allow this app to remain in store!
didn't read reviews prior to purchasing just needed something to satisfy my 9yo son who wrote a letter to Santa asking for a video eating our cookies on Christmas eve night! This app seemed perfect so off I went download scene no prob size adjust box in my setting hit record then process then I watch "making magic happen "at 0% time after time for 30 or 45 min at a time before giving up and using another app just to get a pic. Money wasted but it really would have impacted my son if it worked
Used to work great. Paid for extras. Now it won't work. Stops at the magic is happening screen and never goes past 0%. Fix it.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I made 2 purchases that I was unable to use I'm still unsure why. So I recheched out to support for a refund. No complaints it happens whatever it happens juts wanted my money back because I couldn't use what I paid for which was kinda disappointeng. but I didn't check my email like clockwork. I went in today to see what going because I still didn't hear anything. Not even a I'm sorry how can we help you out. Come to find out it was because they blocked my email
DO NOT USE!!! I purchased a scene to then figure out the app is useless. When you try to make a video it just freezes. I want my money back!!!!!
Like others I've been using the past few years and it was amazing! This year the curse of 2020 seems to have hit it because it is NOT working. Id like my money back but preferably I'd like this to work so I can give my kids some magic this holiday season.
I would've purchased if You were kind enough to unlock at least ONE SANTA to see what im getting! Portable North Pole, has this beat hands down, u guys should unlock a bit more! idk what im getting! Great Idea, plz improve, looking forward to next year!
Not happy. I paid for features on this app with intentions to use again each year but it has not been maintained and does not function at all anymore. Poor form.
For the past few years my daughter always says "let's catch eleves!" And we use the app and she always loves it.. this year she was disappointed to find out it wasn't working
Bought the "Grand Exit", recorded video and it won't go past "Magic is happening." I've uninstalled and installed again and nothing. Super disappointing.
Total rubbish, you film the scene and press process, and nothing happens. Total waste of time and money.
How do i get a refund for scenes iv bought? As they do not work and download. Very disappointed as my children wpuld have loved this had it worked. Funny how the free scene works quite fine but not if you purchase it
Works on my LG G6 Running Android 8, but not on my Pixel 3 running Android 10. I have reinstalled it, still no luck. Guess will have to use my older phone for the magic to work.
This app is great last year I did a video for my kids and now decided to buy all the packages the only bad thing is I can't uninstall the app and install it againg because I will have to pay again, thing that is not fair at all
Not working, I've used this app for a few years now and its always been brilliant but this year its not working at all :(
Used this app a few years ago and loved it. Now it is a different story. I installed it, took a picture but the app wouldn't process it. I uninstalled it. Several weeks later I tried again with the same results. I tried 2 different pictures and no luck. Very disappointing as I loved the older version and would gladly have paid for the premium content if it worked.
