Transactions to be disclosed are clearly displayed in the SantanderSign App and can be released via TouchID / FaceID or by entering a personal PIN. Banking anytime, anywhere - easy and fast. Download the SantanderSign app on your smartphone and be flexible in carrying out your banking business. SantanderSign is only available to Santander customers. To activate you need your online banking access data.

Doesn't work at all. Actually getting it set up is a nightmare, as it needs camera access that doesn't work and completely fails if Firefox is your default mobile browser. Once set up it refuses to sign anything and says "the transaction has expired and can not be signed" this means I can't use either mobile or online banking. I'm planning to close my account

Shortest description i can give about this application and the bank that runs it is simply DON'T. the app itself would be great for 1990.... but nowdays this is the worst i have ever seen around so far. If i could go back in time and prevent myself from doing business, i would. better to loan money from street hooligans than from yhese people.

Authorizations show up in the app but I can't sign them. When I click on them nothing happens. Incredibly frustrating but I found a workaround: 1. Open the app and sign in with your password 2. Let the app run in the background 3. Sign into online banking through your browser 4. Wait for the app to send you a notification 5. Click the notification and you should be able to authorize log ins and transactions

The QR code that is provided by the Santander website is way too small to be recognized by any camera, a trick I used is to copy the link behind the QR code and go to a QR code generator website and make a new one that is readable, then I received the text box asking me for a tan number that I entered and then I could finally get the app to be used.

This App from Santander work just ad badly as all the other Santander Apps. After entering my iTan to activate it, an error message pops down for about 1 second, then disappears. I cannot read it in that short amount of time and I don't know what the problem is. Pretty ridiculous!!!

App has a critical flaw. Please fix ASAP!! I was almost certainly sure an app coming out this close to the date it is mandatory will have bugs. Very poor quality control. If you cannot use the verification code send by sms (i am abroad), it SAYS you can use the i-TAN instead, but in fact you can't!

The installation is a mess! Allegedly it is being installed on my mobile phone but it is not, what a disastrous method of aleged improvement, did that look at Boing's 737MAX???? In German it is verschlimmbessern, meaning you want to improve something but actually it is worse than before. I am at loss what to do now.

This is ridiculous. Suddenly the banking app requires santanderSign login and after I start it, it requires my login credentials. I try to verify the app, get the enrollment code which... Forwards me to Google play store to download the SantanderSign app. Which I have already downloaded! I'm locked out of my account, can't even check it. This is how you should NOT develop an app, especially a banking app which is supposed to be safe, secure and definitely not with bugs like that!

Was working fine on my previous phone. Just got a new phone and can't activate it. The instructios do not match. On the phone it says to generate an enrollment code, but there's no way to do this. Link to website gives you a QR code to scan, so fine I tried this but the camera scanner doesn't detect it. So, no code and can't scan QR . How am I supposed to activate it?

The app wants an enrolment code , which you can only get via Itan, which requires a form, which i cannot use as i am not in germany ! Terrible app, terrible quality control. Edit : I will contact the bank and change this review if it gets better

What the... Password login for my account always worked fine. Now I'm basically locked out of my account for no reason. Either I have to send some form via mail, which will take days or use this app. But I can't even login with the app because after scanning the QR code it ask for some tan I never had to use before. Why can't ot be as simple as before? I just want to check my account

Worthless app. It is extremely difficult to use it and the authorization and activation is nowhere close to as mentioned on the website. I cannot even proceed with the online banking facilities due to this app.

The QR code activation didn't work. The SMS link-based activation didn't work either. Here is what did work: 1. Register iTAN after first login on the web. 2. Start the Sign app and the activation procedure. If it keeps trying with the SMS link and doesn't work due to a bad code, clean up the Sign app data in app properties. 3. Start again the Sign app and activation and an SMS code (not SMS link) will be sent and that will work (hopefully). A disaster app indeed...

I hate this app so much! Every time I have to type my Password! It's nearly 2021 and I have a perfect thumb to use. Fix this! WAS ist daran nicht zu verstehen? Diese drecks dämliche App will jedes Mal mein Passwort, statt meine biometrischen Daten (Fingerabdruck).

Works for one card only. My wife has a card from my account but she can't use it to buy anything as it is seemingly not linked to my santander sign. Why is paying for stuff in this world so difficult and stressful...!

Works for me, but requires you to use the "default" keyboard, which is annoying. What I don't get in general is why all banks always need to invent their own "security mechanisms" instead of using existing, proven 2FA tools, thus littering the phones with loads of apps.

Instead of using 2FA well known standard such as the Google authenticator or Authy, Santander must come with this awful app, not just having possible security leaks but also bugged. I'm locked out of my web and mobile account after changing phone 🤦‍♂️
