I have no issues with this app whatsoever! I store my recipes, check all the oil qualities & types of acids they provide for the soap, and edit the batch size (oil weight) without adjusting the oil amounts manually all within this handy tool. It works like SoapCalc but much more compact, the only difference is I can't print the recipes but that's why I keep a notebook to write them down in
Really useful app. I have checked it against other calculators and they all give similar portions. it's really useful for developing your own recipes. so far I've made 4x200g batches with it which have all worked well. I would recommend.
Useless. Impossible to understand and use. Could not even save a single recipe. Unintuitive directions calculated nothing.just a note taking app you still have to calculate it yourself.
One of the best, helps making soaps significantly and retains recipes. Would be good if app allows taking photos of soaps.
I like that it calculates the value of softness/hardness, conditioning, cleansing, etc of your recipe. It gives you the general idea of how your recipe may turn out. Good if these value can take superfat into consideration.
The app is good yet I have a suggestion. My recipes are saved but when I want edit my recipe with adding some remarks/name of the recipe and save, the original date is automatically modified to the date of correction. So the date of recipe is changed if any correction is made in the recipe. This is unwarranted. No values for some oils like hydrogeneted oils. What is the basis for ranking my soap recipes? Please clarify.
Very helpful app, I like the bar chart for soap qualities it makes it easy to see at a glance and make oil adjustments.
Great but limited in ingredient choice! Not everyone is vegan. I like using beef tallow in some of my soaps but in efforts to promote a "cruelty free" ideology one cannot formulate recipes with any animal fats in this app. I get it, but I reiterate that moral policing has its places and this app would get a 5 star rating if I was allowed to choose any fat/oil for my recipes. About 50% of my soaps include tallow, which means this app is 50% useless to me. Otherwise, easy to use and accurate.
Excsllent app i read a comment that somdond commented they couldnt save a recipe and couldnt use the app that it was totally useless i can attest that is def NOT true i have used this app for a few years now and (like now) have re dnlded it everytime i gdt a nes phone you can save recipes and IF you already know how to make soap this is a vdry useful app and cuts time calculating amounts of oils needed and best part is you can get results of such qualities of soap recipes as bubnles hardnes
good for beginner. but a bit less information about the number meanings. like INS number.. also no information for additional other ingridients (like charcoal, etc)
Very much helpful for making soaps, especially when we make with different oils. I like this app.
I feel that it makes receips lye heavy so have worked out a solution for this. It is good with giving the properties of the soap
It has taught me the technique of soapmaking, I tried others but found this one easier to understand.

Wish this had lard/beef tallow available for oils... Had this app over a year and figured it would have been added out of sheer demand.

New to making soap and this app helped with the recipe. How ever being a newbie I found myself going to google to look up what INS meant. Would be nice to have definitions and explanations with the ranges.

I love this version compared to the new one...it is easy to use and to adjust your recipies until you find just the right one. It could use more oils and include a scent ratio aswell.
