The best TTS app I've found since Ivona became a PC only application. Excellent and much more natural sounding than Google.
Wow. It was awesome. Been using this on my text to speech ebook reading on PlayBook and MoonReader. I like the British Accent.
sounds kind of like a ivona voice you did a great job. i love your voices. i am sher lots of people said this. we custamers want hindey tts or kanota. you are realy good at making voices
Very noticeable blips between words incredibly distracting. Will be canceling my purchase I think
Lovely clear voice just like most of the other ones
Not bad it's quite good. But some how it's little glitch
crystal clear voice output.
Nice and stable.
Don't purchase this app it's not good
I felt intrigued by this alternative to Google TTS. But the performance is inferior. On lower end devices, the engine seems to struggle reading while Google's engine works as well. For me the voice reading quality is indistinguishable from Google. And Google offers so many voices, all for free and in small packs. This one is over 230MB, 5 times larger than the whole Google pack of American voices.
Problems: 1. Does not play longer speech. 2. The play button should change to pause (two bars) while playing texts. 3. Needs a option to clear text and past text. 4. It would be good to have a record option to any audio formats. 5. I didn’t find any option to read facebook posts. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.
Uninstall and reinstall the google text to speech engine after installing this voice if you are having issues. Do not uninstall the voice before doing that, lol. This is an excellent voice, and works great even on an older device with only 1 GB RAM and dual core processor, like my nook HD plus. Note that this is a realistic voice file only, NOT a text to speech engine. Most of the user comments here are ludicrously inappropriate as they are almost all directed to issues with, or features people would like to see in, the text to speech engine, which is made by Google, NOT Cereproc. There are others text to speech engines available from Ivona and SVOX, but I don't think they are available on Googleplay anymore as Google wants android users to use their apps, lol. Anyway, once you grasp this concept, you realize that any hanging or stuttering is not likely to be due to the voice file, but rather to the program running it, i.e. the google text to speech engine. On a side note, the Google TTS is actually an excellent program, but recently had a major overhaul, so a few teething problems are not unexpected
Cos of known problem with my fave voice Victoria... I am forced to install this voice... She works brillant on Z3 plus.... But I really do still miss victoria on my copilot...
First one I purchased and still my fav, Great voice.
Very Good, but doesn't recognize CamelCase. Try saying "DZone", "CoinDesk" (omits S - weird), "AngularJS". Developers, please Treat these as hyphenated for greater success! Also has trouble with "blockchain" and "Litecoin".
Very useful app, everyone must have it!
Jack, William and isabelle are the best from cereproc
Each new phone I have to choose a unique voice to match the device's personality. Sarah the Nexus 6, I think we will be great friends.
Lollipop issues fixed, back to being one of the best TTS apps out there
I have other cercpro voices and it needs work done on it. More editing for clipping, echo? Word processing.
I've used ivona voice for a long time and its better than this. This just isn't quite there yet. It might turn into a great voice app one day but right now ivona voice is better. This is slightly to robotic and doesn't have the personality like they claim
I wanted so badly to hear a pleasant voice read to me, this app was a mistake. Do not for any reason use this app, it made my Nexus 5 a brick.
Needs an update
Very artificial sounding, there are fast but noticable blips during words, which with headphones is uncomfortable to hear. The voice needs to increase in warmth and adjust pitch slightly whilst saying phrases
