I can't login the app. Bugs or network is something else in apps but not being able to login is one thing you should never get wrong, in fact it's incompetence and you better fix it because we're not playing games when it comes Taxes.
Why is it that the data does not update when there are updates from SARS??? I'm unable to complete my 2020 tax return because changes that was made to the tax directive number at SARS does not update on the app or on eFiling! This is beyond frustrating. This is my information and I should be allowed to make changes to the automatically uploaded tax returns!!!!! Instead it now looks as though I am not declaring the correct information!!!!!!
I'm trying to register an account for my sister but both the app and website have an error message which reads: "The information you have provided could not be verified, please try again" She urgently needs the tax number
I struggled filing my returns in the previous tax year using the app. Hopefully the updated version this season will be easy sailing for me.
This app is so not user friendly!! Accessing your profile through e-filing is much more easier and quicker.
This app does not allow me to login anymore...and its the third year now trying to login but without success. When I try to reset my password I do not recieve any Otp from email or text yet my contact details are correct.
As expected this usless department has a usless app, these donkeys cant get anything right, half of the features don't even work, there is no assistance with issues on the app. With all the tax money they collect they can't even develop an app that works. 😒
I have left a call back several times. The call back comes through in a minute or so, however there's nobody on the other end of the line. Is it a automated call back or what? Can someone call me coz I don't know how to reach sars anymore. Call center takes forever until I run out of airtime
Can SARS realy fix their app it's realy depressing to use it. To start with this app takes 1 hour to install Very slow and u end up not getting what u want ...
Previous update completely broke the app. Can't view any documents, statements or correspondence - simply receiving message that above "is not available at this time". Disappointing
This app is waste of time when you login it keep saying update your login credentials when you do it will tell you about some unexpected error always as a result you can't get in please look into it
It keeps showing error codes after being redirected to a new page where you have to update your username and password, from thereof it takes nowhere!
I have been frauded through this app and that makes me doudt using this app as the security its not affectively safe at all from my experience.and even now the is still someone who is trying to log Inn to my account to proceed with frauding my account and returns but still SARS can not pick up this fraudulant activity.
Trying to get my tax number. For this purpose the app is useless so also the efiling site. Request tax number and i am asked to supply my tax number. Cannot make sense of what comes first...the chicken or the egg.
Dear developers, I've had a problem with changing my old banking details to the current one I am using. Helpdesk was no use to me and sending quieries didn't help either. I recently tried changing the banking details myself but then when I got to a point of punching in the new account's branch code I couldn't as the previous account's branch code is populated and can't be changed. Now please let me know what to do as I want to get this over and done with and claim my return. Unsatisfied user🗣
I'm not able to login or do anything from the app at all since this morning , I've tried re starting my phone and updating the app but still no change
I have been trying to re-install the app (update) for the past 24 hours. Everytime I select install from the app store, I get a "pending" response which continues longer than an hour. I tried several times in the last 24 hours. I tried downloading via the app store on my desktop, I still get the same response "pending". Please ge this fixed, this is really undesirable service from SARS.
In a technological age and thus is what we get? I read ther other experiences while app was downloading, and I thought it couldn't possibly be that bad. Well, guys it is that bad. Im very familiar with SARS Efiling, been so since inception date thereof. This app is so badly put together, like someone mentioned.... "it was put together over a weekend with bottle whiskey in one hand and using ther other hand for the mouse and keyboard" You might just manage to get your individual return in
This updated app the minute you log in it crashes. 🤔 What was the reason behind updating the app from the old one that is working perfectly to the newly updated that crashes as soon as you log in. I believe when you update the app it's supposed to work 10x more effective than the old app, but in this case it's definitely story. It's just frustrating.
Poor service, when you try to log in it's keeps on saying 'unexpected error occurred' 🙄, I can't get what I need...
App is slow and bulky I rather use the web version than get stuck in this app The app is nothing else but a waste of ROM
Issues with log in. Cannot view documents properly on Android phone. Tried laptop but doesn't work there either. Last years version was much more user friendly. Would not allow me to check if banking details were correct or to print results. This version is an absolute nightmare. Get your act together SARS
This app isn't working for me. Once I finish updating my profile its says click Update, when clicking on update tab its requesting a code that comes from my email. When I open my email I get a code I want now to retreive so I can get back to the app, unfortunately its throwing me back to login and everything is lost. I tried on several times no success. Real waste of time.
The app doesn't work because it says it's not filed or anything but when you go online it says it is. Has way to much bugs. Uploading files is a big problem because it doesn't want to upload it and it doesn't want to give the full amount, it cuts the amount. It's an terrible app, a complete waste of time. Don't bother even thinking of downloading it.
Since the start of using SARS Mobi App, I've never experienced any inconvenience. It is the SARS website that I wish could be fixed to accept access via my phone without having to choose. After all, that's what smartphones are made for.
Why do you make it so difficult to use with specific version of Adobe Flash Player. Every time I try to use this app, I get stuck there because it says I have the wrong version. I have tried everything, updated Adobe Flash Player over and over, but have now just given up on using your app. Most people dont even know what Flash Player is so why make it so difficult. Just fix the bug so that your app is more user friendly. I now will have to go and stand in the long queues at SARS AGAIN.
I just downloaded this app now, I've already registered through my browser and tried requesting for an OTP and it was unsuccessful with both my cell number and email address. I tried doing the same with the app but I'm not receiving the OTP. I've rechecked my cell number and email address and they're written correctly. Please advice.
For anyone having issues with the app crashing, uninstall and reinstall and don't use Biometric (fingerprint) authentication. Not sure about devices without this feature but since the last update, bug crashes the app when the fingerprint scanner pops up on my Mate 20 Pro
Saves you time of visiting the office and queueing long hours only to be sent back home because the system is down. With the app, you can see how much you owe and or how much you are owed. It's easy to load supporting documents but you have to be sure that you submit them correctly otherwise you will have to wait for someone from the branch to assist you and believe me when I say that is so boring and time consuming. I believe you should be able to re-load documents when incorrectly loaded.
