Even the lite version is very good and essential for all trekkers, mountaineers and campers. So far it runs smoothly in my android version 8.1. Only the point of concern is the price of full version; it almost equals to price of the book.
I understand this is a lite version, and that you would expect a scaled down version of the paid app, but reading the exact same three paragraphs no matter what topic you choose is beyond rediculous. Stay away from this space waster, maybe the paid version is worth it but not the free.
Like others have said, it won't go past the essentials page. I've tried two different devices. I was hoping to see what type of information was provided on shelter building before I buy the full version
Too vague. needs a ton of work. can survive for weeks without any issues. took the quizes, mind you I have medical training and prior military experience and still failed the quizzes on this app. WEIRD! SKETCHY IF YOU ASK ME. IT SAID IF I want to know the real answers to the questions i got "wrong" id have to buy the paid version. sounds like BS to me. uninstalled.
Dated UI and it won't navigate off the same text for each topic. You'd think it was rocket science to get an app to display text from a book.
As an essential reference material on the subject of SURVIVAL, they don't get any better than the paid version. A reflection of the author's decades-long experience in the British Special Air Service. Great stuff and highly recommended!
Doesn't let you read any of the essentials. Shows the same texts over and over in all the tab links. SMH what if I just want the free and lite version of this survival guide.
I don't even know what's the point of having a lite version of an app if you can't preview more than 1 section. No matter which section I go to, it shows me the same block of text. Pretty useless.
It doesn't work. A single page of introduction and the links to the rest of the app don't work. Uninstalled.
Only one little paragraph, that doesn't say anything regardless of what selection you pick. Definitely doesn't make me want to buy the full version.
On my iPhone, this app works. I can actually read all the contents of "essentials". But on Android the app has no content.
Bad app. Not helpful at all. Infact this can deter someone to buy the full version. A demo video in youtube will be a better promoting medium instead of this 'lite' version
Doesn't work. Selecting a topic just shows the same text everytime about "preparing yourself to be a survivor."
All you get in the lite version is one paragraph (?!) of text, don't see the point of it being an app at all.

Was a great app now not good goes to home page and to instructions but no further stop messing around and let's get back to the good app?????? Was a good app but very disappointed with it
buggy, wont let me download any of the books i even have the purchased ones and everytime I click a book to start the download the app crashes immediately.

Fairly decent resource, but there doesn't seem to be a way to return to the table of contents once you're on a page.

Somethings are wrong and somethings are not necessarily needed to know in a survival situation on this app would suggest getting a different survival guide
Couldnt navigate past the "Essentials" page. Ux is very dated.
With tihs guide you can survive relatively easier than having no idea at all this is a very good thing to have

I have a Galaxy Note 9 and it says was built for an old phone lolol think maybe needs update for newer phones
One paragraph of introduction only, the same paragraph regardless of the topic you choose from the table of contents.
The lite version only displays one paragraph on the android version. At first I thought was some kind of silly joke, but now I think its just something wrong with the app. Edit: After reviewing other reviews, it looks like this issue goes back almost a year and a half. It does not inspire me that full version of the app is worth buying if they fail to even update the lite version.
