Great app. I sometimes use it when we are in the tub staring up at the night sky. We've seen so many satellites.. I didn't have my phone with me once and there was a really bright satellite went over. I knew the exact time so if it had been possible to wind the clock back to that time I could have checked out what it was. Any chance of adding facility to wind back (say) 24 hours? Thanks
Well I guess it just needs to be more maneuverable. Doesn't seem to have any sort of home default. Third: it abruptly jumped out of an established page, which took time to establish. I would love to talk about content. Not bad... This rating must be left adjustable, as there is always the possibility of change *<]^[>*
App on Galaxy S9 Crashes. Worked for many months, now crashes in all search categories. Uninstaller and reinstalled with the same results. Hopefully the get this bug fixed. Was a nice, simple, easy app.
I think it works ok, honestly very few satellites that were tracked could be seen. The strings of Starlight satellites, I never successfully tracked with my telescopes or camera. Only one time was a string visible and that was a very bright string that looked to be self illuminated and very tight formation. Also They also covered a distance of at least 500 to 1000 miles if not more. Out of 8-12 passes a night of Starlight units. Every attempt to spot one with my eye or equipment faild.
This app is absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe how many satellites there are above my hometown! Sadly, I couldn't find certain satellites that I'm interested, so it would be better that the satellites are categorised alphabetically rather than listed for easy searching? Truly appreciate it.
Seems to always show me what an object is. This along with real time air traffic and space objects rule out known things when looking to be sure of a UFO status on an object! But it is subject to being altered by some unknown force to give a normal identification to objects that are not what it seems. One instance kept identifying as a satillite as a great unknown came up on the northern horizon flew directly overhead then straight out to the south into space, it was ten times a normal jet!
It's good at showing everything that above you at a given time but does not self refresh to show newer things once open so you have to keep closing & resetting it to refresh it. You also cannot set it & save those settings to just do a quick open from them on. These things would improve it.
Pretty basic in features. I would have expected to be able to set notifications for certain objects (like ISS or StarLink) but that's not available. Only useful for the most basic searches.
There is no option to update the TLE of satellite. How it updates TLE ? Does it do automatically or it uses the TLE database at the time of Installation. The App is interesting and useful but still needs to verify its true performance.
Nice Gui but found that the app doesn't work. Satellites do not correspond with what I actually see. None what so ever. I don't know if it is guessing or if the app has a high latency or what. But for me, it does not reflect what I see in the sky.
This is awesome. I love the global view and looking up the details on what's overhead. Even in the daytime I go on radius and just look it up, a few minutes I saw that the Diamond Green satellite was overhead and you should look it up 2017-036W or NORAD 42785. When I read about it I just felt excited and optimistic.
I would like to be able to copy the name/designation of a satellite so I can find more information about it. Like if I tap on a satellite to get the information tooltip, tap and hold to copy to the clipboard.
I think it could be improved with a done button on the top of every screen. This button would save changes and being you back to the previous screen.
Yes this app was brilliant but now it just crashes looks as if it's going to map then returns to beginning screen nothing else...on all selections.. Hope it's a bug and get fixed.
Worked fabulous for around a week, then just stopped ("satellite keeps stopping" message). Deleted and reloaded the app. No difference. If it works for you it's great.
This app looks good but its very difficult to search for satelites. I just wanted to look for Starlink satelites but you need to select each starlink satelite individualy, there's no way to select all starlink satelites at once. Therecare a lot of starlink satelites.
Very useful for identifying objects in the night sky. Easy to use, but sometimes runs a bit slow when displaying lots of info at once.
Great app. Would love to be able to select multiple satellites to view, rather than in radius. Maybe even an ability to view favorites? Otherwise, this is very cool.
I just watched 25 satellites in a row fly over head. They were going from the south west to the north east. My problem with this app is that you can't select 'all', debris, satellites, military satellites etc instead u have to go through the process of pinpointing where you are on the map, choosing the type of thing your looking for and if it didn't ring true because of the flight path, you have to do it all over again! Instead of switching through the possibilities... This ruined this app. 😩
