Went through the trouble of adding this app, for what, $2 SAVINGS. At least put a higher limit on the number of items we can get and automatically apply any savings. Now I have to go through find and electronically clip coupons. Really! This needs a fix big time. 👎👎
App hasn't worked right for weeks. I can only search for products once right after I uninstall and reinstall. After that it doesn't work anymore and I have to uninstall and reinstall again. The weekly add doesn't display either and when it does the list format is awful. It should have the option to display in flyer mode.
Will not let me log in and when I go to reset my password the app says it will send me an email for resetting my password "in a few minutes". After 15 minutes I still have not received it so I'm a bit frustrated.
Not a great user experience. I can't recognize what the product is in the photo, and have to click into each coupon to see what it is. Instead of repeating 'save$1', put the name of the product at the beginning of the text. Let me select multiple to add at one time.
The app doesn't save your login information, and sometimes you have to re-enter it multiple times before it actually logs you in. It's slow and unreliable. I do love being able to add coupons and save money, I just wish it was more intuitive and responsive.
Very clear design and very easy to use. Will save you a lot of time looki ng through weekly ads and being a savemart member is free and there's usually a free item on fridays like a bag of chips or loaf of French bread and sometimes more expensive items like fancy cheeses. You also get access to the coupons which have a nice filter setting for if you want to just look at cleaning supplies or pet foods for example. I've never had an issue with it and it's a tiny app that hardly takes up any space.
I've used this app all the time, but when it updates it gets all screwed up. I had no problem until the update from 21 hours ago. it didn't remember who I was. I have tried to sign in many times today, I even uninstalled and re-installed it. it just leads me to a Web page that states bad gateway. I need to go to the store. I can't load the reward offers and points I have.
App does not work. Out of stock items are not revealed until you pay for it. Then you have to cancel. Horrible app.
I really like the convenience of this app becuase I shop at save mart more than anywhere else but for some reason the first two pages of the weekly ad on the app will not let me zoom in. When I try to zoom in it just goes blank. The 3rd and 4th pages zoom perfectly. I even made an effort to try to email the developer to notify them of this issue before I made a bad review. Recieved no response and it has not been fixed. If/when it is fixed this review will be updated to 5 stars.
In the past I've loved your app but as new updates have come out it keeps getting worse and worse... it freezes whenever you try to put something into your shopping list from the ad, if it will let you put it into you're shopping list... which is most of the whole point of using the app in the first place.
App is okay but slow and takes a long time to search for items. Many items that come up in searched words have nothing to do with item you're looking for. In general, the Carmichael, CA weekly flyer won't open on the morning of the first day ad breaks. Sometimes comes out in afternoon or Thurs morning. Don't use app to shop. Only use app to TRY to see weekly ad since Save Mart no longer places weekly ad in newspaper or in mail delivery. Overall, app is so-so.
I have used this app many many times and have had nothing but issues. I absolutely love this service when it works but the app needs serious work. I hate the in store items only part. I add those items in manually in order instructions and its never an issue to get them but very inconvenient. I REALLY want to continue shopping with save mart but im incredibly fustrated due to the technology not being the best. Currently cant make my order due to sign in issues...😑
Terrible app. It constantly logs me out and now it tells me that I have to install google chrome for it to work properly. My phone came in with google chrome. It has never been without it. What the h...! Now I can't even get in to the app to get the cupons and the deals. Worthless... Why can't savemart figuire it out? I already checked for updates and all of my apps including this one and google chrome are up to date. It still does not work and it is giving me the same message.
I hate that it logs you out of the app and then it won't let you log back in. I've had this happen on numerous times. Totally useless when trying to see your rewards or download the special offers. I don't want to keep having to uninstall and reinstall the app.
Just downloaded and wont even let you sign in..says bad gateway..now how am i supposed to get my offers? Im going to delete this madness😡 update 5\20\22 just updated this app and now i have to reset my password..this is ridiculous because its not excepting my new password..who is the i.t. tech? Im about to be fed up
This used to be a very good App. But the last update - screwed things up. No longer able to scan barcode on items to add to the shopping list. No longer able to add items to the shopping list from the weekly add. PLEASE, get it back to a better version!
Always freezing & logs me out. It's gotten so annoying when I try to add coupons or deals because it constantly freezes. It's a great app, in theory, if it worked as it's supposed to. Please fix the bugs.
Terrible so far! The best thing it does is find the nearest store, like I haven't figured that out already. Tells you how many reward points you have but not how to redeem them. Now they have digital offers, just "Download the app and save." I've downloaded the app and those items show up in the weekly add at the regular price. Do you get the discount at the store automatically? Just tell me somewhere!
App ate my point balance after updating to latest version. Went to redeem 2010 points with an offer of $20 off (1800 pt cost). Transaction went wonky and I eneded up with a negative point balance of -1590 pts! Tried signing out &then in again and same negative balance. This app always screws up but never have I gotten my points deleted like this! Not a happy camper.
Pretty disappointed. I keep getting logged out. Trying again with a reinstall. Very buggy app that freezes and errors a LOT. If I didn't have to shop here so much I wouldn't bother but because I do I'm trying again.....for the nth time! Frustrating!
I dont care enough about the discounts to have to log in *constantly*. And not being logged in makes it more likely that I shop somewhere else because I cant see your coupons. Update: updated interface has yet to fully load since implemented. Lost points because they expired and I couldnt use them. More reasons to shop elsewhere.
Cannot see the bottom portion to login after trying to change my password. I just updated the new app, but I forgot my original password to use my existing account. So I put in the authentication code that was emailed to me, then I put in my new password twice, but I can't get to the bottom of the screen to finish. Now I can't use the app at all now.
Why is it when an app gets "updated", it doesn't work anymore. Can't use the app to get your into your profile or add your rewards coupons to use. Cause the app won't work. This happens every time this app is updated. Either don't update or make sure it works before you put this out there.
The app is not very intuitive when trying to check out. It suggests the earliest pick up day and time but then just sits there... displaying the information. There aren't any instructions as to what to do next. Do you touch each line to confirm? Do you wait for the green "Continue" button to light up?
Just got new updated app to me it's not worth using as much anymore to many issues already I noticed . 1. Remove the ticket icons 🎟️🎫 2. Make images smaller 3. Hamburger menu 4. The sections with images under makes It hard to scroll and takes for ever to scroll remove ages just allow ppl to click section 5. The huge rewards area takes up a lot of space point less old design was better new design look like a mess 6. Dumb no more update account in app takes you to browser makes u login no token
Inconsistent with building a shopping list. it loses photos , doesnt always show prices once on list , doesnt give dates ect. Keep working on it please ,I really prefer this app to a notebook paper list .
I'm updating my review to 4 stars because Savemart has made huge improvements. It's no longer clunky and awkward to navigate, it doesn't log me out or say invalid password every time. Deals are easier to find, more available, and better. It's a massive improvement. That being said, I almost did 3 stars because it's still missing the ability to price shop in the app. I don't want to sign up for instacart delivery. All I want is to look up prices to compare, it's a critical part of a store app.
