Save My SMS
Don’t let yourself regret not saving a heart-bound message from a loved one! Do you keep text messages from your boss as proof of evidence or need to substantiate a promise made by someone special? If so, you need to save these texts in a safe location away from your phone! Backing up or exporting your text messages is good practice in general but if your SMS box is reaching unmanageable sizes then exporting your text messages would allow you to delete some or all texts from your phone.

Just did an install to Samsung Rugby. Saved as HTML, don't know where it saved for retrieval. Unchecked HTML, filename: Samtext, saved. Couldn't locate on the desk top PC. I am assuming when I am connected by USB that the "systems" are connecting and the cell phone is saving a file to folder /MySMS. Used "search" on desktop to find folder or file = nothing. Set up email address to send to PC, the email came to Samsung & listed all texts as 1 humongous email. It did not sync with PC at time of this comment. AND JOSHUA TAYLOR IS RIGHT. IT TOTALLY ERASED MY CONTACTS DIRECTORY!! TECH SUPPORT TO RETRIEVE PLEASE! I had the decency to admit & submit to you the problem & solution. A thousand others would n't have. The last time I was on googleplay the review wasn't posted.
Works flawlessly. The email feature is extremely useful and with other apps, you generally need to pay if you want that feature.
I have a very angry ex, and has been harassing me for years, i have 1500 text messages from him that i have been saving on my phone for when he takes me to court in an attempt to take our kids away from me. I have downloaded and installed the app, printed and saved a copy on my computer...... thank you thank you so very much,
It created a folder, but never put anything in it and did not send any emails.
I have Android. This app works fine with sms from/individuals. Doesn't save group sms. This is disappointing.
This app does'nt allow you to choose which messages you you want to save. Very confusing!
Had some issues at the start, all my side... After I got it figured out it was simple and easy.

Saving my sent messages,but not received messages. Not sending to email addr i gave either. Motorola Milestone 3.
I've tried many other apps but this one is decent, simple and easy with no hassle. Helped me send over 500 sms texts to my email address in a second. Spot on!
Very useful to save SMS to text files or send to emails. Easy to use!
Claims to be able to export to HTML, but only if you "subscribe" to pay them $3/year. Seriously? I don't even get to see a sample of the output? Because it's possible to get HTML conversions of SMS messages very wrong! Plus, even if I trust the maker implicitly and take it on faith that their app will do a flawless job, I can't just pay for the app and be done. No, the developers don't just want your $3, they want $3/year, which really means they want you to forget that you "subscribed" and keep paying them $3/year forever whether you are using the app or not. Uninstalled without even getting to test.
