Say It Backwards App
- record a sound and play it back in reverse. Thats it. Such simple tool gives you enormous possibilities. I personally play with my kids and entertain my friends. Check how "NOW" becomes "ONE", and if you practice a little you can learn to say short sentences backwards. Listening to known songs, jingles or other sounds can be surprising. Give it a try with English words: "easy", "Funny enough", "Amor Roma", "say yes"
- those are all phonetic palindromes. While making this app I have realized there is a whole conspiration theory about backmasking
- give it a search on Youtube or Wikipedia
- you will be suprised. My favourite one is "Oh no, you're playing the record backwards. Watch out, you might ruin your needle" ... at least using Say It Backwards app you will not ruin your needle :)

people think words like tacocat and racecar sound the same backwards, but this is false. they may be spelled the same forwards and backwards, but this app tells the true sound. And to reply to the most critical review, your voice sounds different to you then to other people because it vibrates off your jawbone changing the sound.
downloaded it excited for some laughs. tried using it right away and could NOT hardly hear it playback! tried many different times to make it work. turned my phones volume all the way up and still it was inaudible! whatever, uninstalled within just 3 minutes of it being on my phone lol
Very fun little app. Unfortunately, after a few minutes of use it begins to lag, and then freezes my phone. The last time it happened, I wasn't sure my phone was going to restart at all, and since it has a non-removeable battery, I had to uninstall the app to be safe. Sad π
It's great! I gave it 4 and not 5 because it has a slight lag, from the moment you press record you need to give it a fraction of a second before you start speaking or else the first part won't come out, you also need to leave a fraction of a second of silence at the end for the same reason. You get used to it though, and other than that it's everything it should be. It could be my phone's fault, but it's not like I have the absolute worst one out there.
Great so far. Saving is a bit cumbersome: files may be Shared to a different third-party app (I used Automate) to save to the device. Also the playback seems a bit quiet relative to the input level.
its not as clear as it could be, and it needs more controls, such as speed access to its tones or add effects its has a bit of reverb but just those few things would make it more fun...thanks cool idea...
First it asks if it can know my personal business. When I say "NO," it crashes my phone, then never worked again. Blip (uninstall). (On a Note 4, so maybe itss an old phone thing, but c'mon, its playing sound backwards. This.... is.....not......hard!
I've had this app before and I loved it so I'm happy to get back to it I used it mainly for trying to debunk subliminal messages in songs the results were great it made every thing sound clear and easy to talk I have no problems with the app if you like investigating creepy messages In songs this is just for youππππππππππππππππππ
This app is great does exactly what it says on the tile you say stuff records it and can play it back in Reverse or even forwards it just works never had any problem with it if you have reason to play audio backwards this is perfect for youπ
Excellent App, to record any audio and hear what you record played back to you, reversed... Going to record guitar improvising in a few minutes! GET APP NOW... PRETTY COOL...if you like doing strange things... lol
Entertaining, does what it says on the tin. Crystal clear, quick, efficient. We have made a game we record a phrase play it backwards then repeat the backward phrase and whoever sounds the best/funniest wins.
Bruh when I use it like 2 tabs in one screen when I record the video it just pauses. It also does that for shazam too like come on. You might be having the same problems as me. Why does it do that. TWO TABS IN ONE SCREEN. ONE TAB FOR VIDEO AND ANOTHER FOR THIS APP. AND THIS APP IS PAUSING THE VIDEO. SAVE ME PLEASE
i love this app. i cant believe how many hours ive been entertained, and how much people get a kick out of trying it themselves. i wish you could save clips, although you ard at least able to send them as a txt message
you can't play a song on your phone and record it on the app. other apps like snapchat allow this. so basically you can only playback yourself or an actual radio which hasn't existed since the early 2000's
It's honestly exactly what the description says. I can't complain about it. it's really fun finding out what things are backward and so simple and easy to use. you simply record speak and play it backward! πππ
best reverse talk app I've come across. playback really is what you record, is your voice, and does proper reverse talk. if you're looking for something like Twin Peaks this would be it. only issue I've found is it is very quiet, you almost have to yell to hear the playback well. other than that it is exactly what it should be. if I could hear it better I'd give 5 stars.
