I really like this app. On challenge 2 at the moment but it's going well so far. It would be great to have a list of new words associated with every challenge because seeing the actual words could help to understand better how exactly they are pronounced (audio is sometimes a bit confusing)
The app was working fine through level 1, but now I have moved to level 2 will not download any of the lessons, claiming that I need to sign on to an account with the necessary permissions, which I definitely have. Making do with the lesson downloads from the main site and an mp3 player app now.
The transcript of each lesson or just a list of all the new words and sentences being taught could be incredibly useful, especially to a visual learner. Other than that, this app is really good. Cheers.
Completely unable to download any of the lessons. Just does nothing for a while then complains about connectivity, even though I'm on WiFi. Edit: also uninstalling the app clearly leaves data behind as when I uninstall and reinstall, it remembers that I was trying to download a lesson...
I'd recommend starting with the old course, it's easier if you're a beginner. Despite what other commrnters say, the quality is fine. Annoying one can't pause from the lockscreen.
Absolutely gutted. Been working through level 1 for 10 days and my phone has refreshed and Level 1 has now disappeared completely so there's nothing to learn. No idea how or why but all my progress is lost and I can't get it back.
I love this app. There's options for North or South Welsh (I chose North) and it's all spoken - no writing, no complicated explanations about mutations - just learn to incorporate them naturally. If Michel Thomas had ever done a Welsh language course, it would have been similar to this. Pob lwc!
A great app to use and I was doing well on it. However, I have now found that all of the levels that I have completed have disappeared and can only access level 1, what is going on?

Where is the lesson?? I downloaded the app, opened it up, selected south as the region, and it started downloading... and downloading... and downloading... it even has said "finished downloading courses" a few times but NOTHING OPENS. am i doing something wrong??
No real noticeable curriculum or phases. It's just recorded lessons where, for example, challenge 1 is over 30 mins. Where is the chapters so you can jump to where you left off? For the love of God redub that guy, eat an apple, move away from the mic and use a pop shield. Gate FIRST, then compress to get rid of any breathing sounds. Boom! Actual proper voice over that doesn't sound like an old person eating a banana.
The lessons i can get are great. Its a pity the weekly lessons and advanced lessons don't load even though i'm a paid member

Brilliant! All you need is this app and some Welsh speakers to practice on and you'll get there eventually.
The app has been working fine for the last 6 months but something has gone wrong. None of the lesson's will download.
It would be helpful if the app could give instant feedback, on whether the pronunciation was correct
I am finding this a very quick and enjoyable method for learning.
Pleasant to learn with but the man speaking on the lessons could do with not being so close to the mic, his mouth is making an undesirable noise

I'm going thru a bunch of Welsh learning apps to see if they are accurate. I listened to the first word and it's not "Eisio" ("Want") It's Eisiau so do not get this app

Great for the basics!
This is such a genius way of learning language. You quickly learn to say a variety of useful things while also learning basics of how to change sentences for different tenses . Much better than trying to memorize lists of vocabulary with no way to use them. I do wish you could pause it without unlocking your phone so it could be safer to use while driving.
