With the SBB AR preview app, you can test the potential of augmented reality technology for improved orientation and journey planning at Zurich main station and at other stops in Switzerland. The following features await you:

Ride Now
The app serves as a guide for public transport services in and around the station. When leaving the station, the app helps you to find your way to tram and bus stops and tells you the service times. Select a service and see details such as the stops and departure times.
In addition to trams and buses, PubliBike and Mobility stations are now also displayed with information on current availability, as are Smide's stationless e-bikes.

Platform display boards
Point your smartphone camera towards the platform display boards in Zurich main station. The app provides you with details about the service shown on the board, such as intermediary stops or the occupancy rate of individual coaches. You can browse through the information and retrieve additional details.

Shops & Services
Are you looking for a pharmacy or a ticket machine? With the “SBB AR” preview app, you can find shops, platforms and services in Zurich main station. Use the “Shops & Services” search to get around the station thanks to additional virtual information and find your way to your destination.

“Milo”, the virtual koala, introduces himself and the new Australian enclosure at Zoo Zurich.
Using the app, users can buy a ticket, including the journey there by public transport, at a discounted price.
