SBL Dating - Straight, Black Dating App

Very frustrating getting started and takes too long. 3 days later still unable to do anything in the app because my pics never took when I uploaded them in the app (not denied). Had to upload via the desktop version. Super powers ran out and I've yet to be able to even read the initial welcome message from them in my account because it's taking so long to get 2 pics uploaded. Can't figure out how to delete my account so I sent them a message. It's too bad because the concept seems worthwhile.

I have told a lot of people about this SBL app. If you are reading this a few things you should know is that the photo approval process is manual so this is a good thing and a bad thing. Good-it keeps the platform clean, no spam users/stalkers etc. Bad-approval can take a few hours when other apps are instant. Good-it is free and you get free credits to boost your profile Bad-when the credits run out you have to pay to top them up so not completely free. Not too bad but still important to know.

Theres no reason it should take 2 days or anything close to that for a picture to get approved! Then the nerve to send me an email about my "super powers" being expired on an account I have absolutely no access to because my pics are still in damn review! I have followed every thing in the guideline for the pics to pass review. Ridiculous! I know a rep is gonna come back with something smart to say in their defense. Idgaf!! Sbl needs to go back to the drawing board. Period!!

I'll start with the positives. I like the idea of serious relationship apps. So happy it is for the Black community. My images were approved quick, in a matter of hours, I could fully use the app. However positives end here. I don't like it forces you to like 4 people prior to setting up profile. No way to skip this level & these "likes" stay on your profile. The app claims to be worldwide however no matches in London UK so can't use it. I am looking for Black love but wouldn't find it on here.

What is wrong with the App? I'm unable to use my profile!! I've tried uninstalling several times and whenever I sign it I won't get access to check anything/ it's as if the App is frozen - nothing is loading. My photos were already approved and I was already talking to someone so that cannot be the reason.

I've used this site for a little over a week now. I was more than willing to support regardless of what minor issues that are prevalent with new apps. I now regret joining because none of my photos meet the criteria to be posted, my payment info has been declined with over a dozen attempts, and the site won't allow me to delete my profile. Please fix these issues!!

Things to add should be when the user was last active. That would help to know if the person is still looking for a partner or not or if there now coupled up. Every 6 months members should add if your still looking for a partner or no longer to help filter out those that is most likely not going to respond or longer using the app. Overall this app is great. Glad that I found it.

it forces you to choose 4 men with very little options listed and you cannot move on until you select exactly 4. I have been waiting for atleast 3 hours for my pictures to be approved (I'm still waiting). your pictures have to be 3 mb or they will not let you use them. the app is useless until your pictures are approved. I will probably delete my profile and uninstall this.

Okay so the app is straight forward, if you have issues I would say check the FAQs page or contact them, no major issues just didn't know how to search for black singles near me. I had to change my settings but I didn't read the FAQs so didn't know that.

so far so good i love the concept of website and how it brings out different types of beautiful Native Queens to light in different area i never thought would be in my areas and very easier to navigate then most site ive been on. Customer Service is pretty great understands the search to find love and Native/Blk Love very helpful.and really responsive to the email. Love the Site!

This app is TERRIBLE!! The account has to be activated from your email, they are suppose to send you an activation code. I tried four times and never got an email. Of course a site to meet only Black ppl is poorly constructed. Very dissapointed

Once you get the hang of the search feature it’s easy to navigate. Not like any other apps I have tried but that’s a good thing, they can’t all be the same. This is brand new so I can’t wait to see how it grows but in the same breath I hope to be settled down by the time the SBL takeover happen.

I couldn't even support this app like I wanted to. It would not give me access to messages or requests. photos have been pending for days and have not been approved just deleted. uninstalling please dont waste your time replying with oh copy and paste of your contact information, i've already tried to reach out to you all multiple times and still no reply.

Others have said it before me but the desktop is better, more options and easier to use. App is confusing a bit first time using but once you use it a few times it becomes second nature.

If you charge money at least make the app totally functional. Terrible move. It has too many issues and filled with no I would want to meet. I will stick with RBL and BPM until it becomes decent at best. Is it free or does it cost? There is a difference. Are you false advertising. RBL and BPM are blackowned do research. I hope you all get this together but for now I pass!

I couldn't do anything not even check my settings uplaoded a pic. I know it takes a while to process for being genuine authentic which I do appreciate that you all take that into consideration. But it keeps asking me about my picture and will not let me go to any other part of the app. It just would make more sense if people can explore the app while they are waiting for approval. I love black owned businesses and supporting, yet until I can actually look through the full app my rating is 1 star

Possible Phishing site. EDIT#2: This app has flaws. Developer basically said she was an expert and I knew nothing. Download, and judge for yourself. Read other reviews. EDIT: Numerous users have mentioned login attempt failures. It is a very common activity of phishing attempts. After I signed up and attempted to log in several times without success several of other accounts, email, streaming service, and cards had suspicious login attempts. Until proven otherwise, I'd be hesitant to download.

I tried to support this App but it can barely load up. I can't get pass the registration form. I tried signing up with the Google Plus account and got an error message. I hope you guys can fix the kinks so people can actually use this App.
