After updating the app, when i tried to open the app, i was asked to turn on wifi or data connection. Both were on. I am not able to login to the app after the update. Also, not user friendly at all. Very disappointed.
Unable to use it since my phone is version 7.0. You are promoting the use of your Sbm app but with the recent update many people will not have access due to Android version. The previous version was better to use. Atleast you could have left some options for those having old version. Sorry to say i will not change my phone just for 1 app.thx
Worst update ever... After your sms, I have updated your app today...and guess what? It stopped working...it asked for wifi or data connection which was on...(tested on both wifi and data connection)...but it just closes down everytime.... you update your app during the most important month of the year where millions of transactions occur..and it does not work....woaw very professional indeed...
most of the times there are server issue. inconsistent performance. when you really need it, it keeps trying to connect to the server. This is one of the worst mobile banking applications!
Very useful app...but unfotunately it is made for only new mobile phone version...for instance not compatible with galaxy j7 2015 edition.i think mcb juice app is way much better.easy to use and compatible with older android version....very disappointing from sbm.wish u upgrade your service and catch up ua competitors guys!!!!!!!
Update my app today 12 Dec 2021 as required. It is not working at all. Having a message saying turn on your wifi or mobile data. When click on OK, the app closes by itself and disappears.
Received a msg to upgrade today. Just upgraded the app and voila it has stopped working, it says to turn on WiFi or data to connect! My WiFi is working correctly. SBM, can u pls resolve the issue.
The app works well enough until there is an update. As it doesn't do so through the Play store. So, when you login, the app notifies you that there is an update, but it just happen that the loading animation is an overlay to it, preventing the user to choose the update link. It has always been like that and the only way around the issue is to uninstall and reinstall. That sometimes, doesn't work neither.
Worst app! Not intuitive. Not user friendly. Supposedly for the sake of security, but it's completely nonsensical to have such a complicated user interface. Instead of complaining, I've emailed to the bank on difficulties but improvements are taking its time to happen as it goes for the queue at the branches.
Worst app ever...they really need to upgrade their services... transaction PW not working each month has to look for new one...doing transaction between own account it's a whole new history...forget about sending money to someone it take like 30 min to do so... Anyway it not a user-friendly app at all. Try to compete with MCB juice you can atleast improve the app a bit...
VERY BAD, Today got a msg from sbm saying that the app has been upgraded.. I was stucked with the "update app" popup for 2months, hence could not even use this app. So today after I've downloaded and installed the app from playstore.. Now getting " Please check connection, turn on wifi and mobile data"... ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? Worst banking app ever !
Very stressful. Despite having wifi, still asking to turn on wifi. Not at all useful as other local banks App. Above all are the reviews even read by someone to assist upgrade n make the App helpful
Worst banking app ever ! My wi-fi is ON and FULLY FUNCTIONAL however every time I open the app, it asks me to turn on mobile data or wi-fi !!!!!
To me the app was pretty useful. Although it is somewhat slow, with a little patience i can actually accessmy bank account. I can eqsily do transfers, refund my credit card also. It was pretty use ful during this period of crisis. Although, it was all fun and games until today, i dont know why it won't connect and won't let me login . Well It's pretty useful, but there is much room for improvement.
Juice and Maubank app are far better than sbm. This one ask to update very often. But this time after update it stop working. I call sbm where i was told that to use this app you must have at least android version 8. Which means all subscribers having version 7 will no more be able to use the app. So as per this everytime sbm will upgrade his app we will have to buy a latest mobile. And over that it is not user friendly. The best is juice followed by maubank. Worst of the worst sbm.
Its high time SBM recruit some consultant to work on an app similar to juice.... your app looks like the ones in the early 2000's. Everything is complex and unorganised. User interface is like a desktop view..
I see many reviews on getting msg to switch wifi or mobile data..or app getting stuck during update.. Well i got those too and i just had to restart my mobile and update the app. It works very well and faster now. Thumb up SBM for facilitating our lives and looking forward for further innovations. Thank you
Report for a bug, i updated the app, it display a message "Turn on either mobile data or wireless connectiom". Kindly fix this bug.
Not user friendly, interface is slow and laggy, a pain in the arse to setup, it's a shame to be honest.
Not user friendly, not fast enough, have to use long complicated passwords , I prefer juice!!! And about the update: VERY 👎fingerprint not working.
Asking for wifi or data connection even though i have internet access. Can no more access app or carry out transactions after update.
This app is a scam, it asks me to switch my wifi on, while my wifi is already on, and still the app is not available for use. Zero star, stop wasting time of people please.
The system tells me to turn on either my WiFi or data connection and try again, but I'm actually connected to the internet.
I've used the app for a long time. Suddenly there is an update application message and its not even active so cannot click on it. I can't understand why your updates do not appear on Playstore as with other apps. Very annoying. Are you even aware that this issue has been persisting for a few days and people can't use the app???
It will be great to have a UI which is friendly, quickly accessible like the one for mcb.
I dont understand...before update all was ok..after update...appa does not open..keep saying "connect to wifi or mobile data" and shut down.while i am on wifi connection...please review your update...
Dec 2018-App keeps on loading.. the interface is too basic and not user friendly. Please upgrade it, other small market players are making nice app. July 2019-7 month after my previous post. Does someone really read these comments? Seems to be a free demo app downloaded from Net and tailored. Please do some major upgrade. The app either crashes or keep on loading. Neither connects on 4g nor on wifi.
Hello, I am new to this bank and i want my customer ID so that i can register for internet banking. I have sent the email regarding same issue 3 days ago and not received any reply. Also the customer care number is useless. No one picks the call.
Just create a proper app for mobile banking ! This one is outdated and hopeless. Do a complete overhaul !
Still buggy even after all of that time. It said that I need to activate even though I did use it before. I try to click on "First Time User". Now I just received the OTP... 5-10 min after I click on "Resend OTP". The UI is still very undesirable and disgusting. It seems like there was not enough planning while making this app. Perhaps barely any planning at all. Overall, unprofessional app. A lot of people also seem to share that idea...
