It works. my phone puts it to sleep. Needs user interaction, or my phones AI thinks it's unused app.
I'm glad I didn't really need info. I downloaded it, before Dorian, to keep updated. it looked good. Then I tried to place info in it. Doesn't save. The Gov. updated that day and every day after. This app didn't show anything after 9/2. I saw updates after that on tv, but this app never updated. The alerts were constantly going off telling us of Hurr warning, tornado alerts and to see media for add'l info. Then why do I need app? I'll just turn on TV. They need to work on info skills
I have used this app during hurricane season when roads were all going out of town, away from the ocean. This helped tremendously with up to date road maps and traffic flow patterns. A MUST HAVE APP!!!
App isn't showing list of closings for Android users. Please fix this.
Have friends that aren't so near but dear to me,Living in Charleston. Helpedme keep track on what's going on, without being a nuisance to them. Let them go about their important business of taking care of themselves. And not using up all their battery power in their cell phone when I can get the information from your site. That if I do call them I can give them advice as to what is going on in case they don't have internet.
Not helpful, the save button is off screen so no info I input it's able to be saved. Not very user friendly.
Did not send any alerts during the last tornado. Fortunately, Verizon did send out a tornado warning.
Piss poor app does not keep you informed on anything! Everything is just recorded, failed to give updates right after the hurricane Dorian passed.
When you need it, it is worth it. Otherwise it is just a space filler on your device.
App will not open on my smart phone after excellent review from Weather Channel. Just will mot open.Usless in this Hurricane Florence /SC!!!Why ???????
I can't access your website my phone keeps saying it has been restricted from this device.I really need to get the information i live i South Carolina.
Very helpful and necessary in an emergency. A must have app.
Can't use during an emergency/poor formats/poor legibility/info missing to prepare a local plan/graphics consume band/needs complete start over by consumer driven input
Its really good I not in a zone that needs to leave thx to this really good app
Let's you know the facts so you can react accordingly. Great app to use.

Would be nice to have a code to color zones.
Not user friendly.

Great app for my state of SC. GREAT APP FOR MY STATE. Jist found out Evac has been Lifted for Jasper ,Beaufort and colleton. Everyone stay safe!! I haven't had house Insured in a month due to hard times so god knows I don't need this storm orence to come through. Not to mention the trees around my home
Big red banner across the top (10 Sept 18) " Mandatory Evacuations for Coastal Counties. What Zones?! One hand is shouting "Know your Zones!," yet the other is just stating if you're on the coast evacuate. Selected the "Emergency Shelters"button at 9:29 p.m. to see where we should evacuate to, page states "There are no open shelters at this time." Will check again in the morning, but will probably shelter in place as it is more dangerous to meander around with no destination than to hunker down. Added bonus, inside the app it provides link to how to download the app you already have installed and are using =/
I live in Union in the upstate. I want all the info I can get, everyone needs this app. Just pray for every one, most of all the First Responders and Emergency Personel that is on the front line.
I'm new to Union Sc and I downloaded this app last week not knowing that I would be using this soon , I'm glad I have this app because I find it very much helpful,I think all state's should have,
It's for Emergency Management , so I'll know in 3 or 4 days how helpful it is.
My first weather emergency here, downloaded the app...looks nice, but where's the help?
It's OK but I seem to remember the app having weather radar at one time.
Planning and preparing for an emergency can sometimes be challenging. This app has several useful tools to help prepare your family (AND PETS!) for any number of hazards. Not gonna lie, I have driven everyone in my house crazy with the whistle utility. If you are in a coastal evacuation zone, the handy maps show you what zone. Beyond that, you can make a personal plan that can be accessed offline. Highly recommend this app for your emergency preparedness needs!
On the mobile app, when I click on closings and delays, it's not listing the counties like it should. The site on my laptop is working properly but the mobile app is not. I understand this is an issue with Androids. Any idea when it will be fixed?
