Great for scales. I have the pro version, which is worth the small fee. One thing the app is missing, which I would like to see added, is the option to choose something other than quarter notes for scales and arpeggios, such as slurred eighth notes, or the option to add dotted rhythms.

As a vocal instructor this app makes it easy for my students to improve on the accuracy of their ear training. It's a great app and I highly recommend it as a learning and reference aide.

Good for voice training. But, the Select Playback Tempo widget is a slider that is impossible to use with any precision. If you try to set it to 22 you'll as likely get a tempo of 26 or 18 or 30. Please replace this stupid widget with something that actually allows you to set the tempo where you want it.

It's OK. I'd expect the paid version to have more features, like automatically progressing through scales. Instead you have to select each key and press play. Also I'd expect the note being played to be the one highlighted. Instead it highlights the next note, the the one being played.

Really nice! A great way to work on scales and intonation. As a string player I would love if the sub-mediant and sub-dominant major/minor arpeggios could be added for the scales! The ability to start a scale on a different pitch other than the tonic could do this as well and would be helpful too!

The menu for selecting the scales could be slightly larger, since on smaller mobiles it's really hard to select them quickly while practicing. Awesome and simple app though! I would love variations in the beat combinations of the notes in each scale though!

This is an AMAZING practice app. The ability to play with an instrument is great for intonation. Only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is I paid for the premium and was hoping to get scales in intervals (3rds, 4th etc) and more arpeggios (M6, m6, M7, M7 etc). Hopefully in a near future update that could be a thing. Also being able to pick where the scale ends instead of always being the whole octave. I highly recommend this app.

Good except for a few things, can I delete scales/arpeggios from playlists? Everytime I accidentally put the wrong starting octave or number of octaves, I can't delete the mistake from my playlist. I find myself having to start again. I can't find this feature in the app. Could long tonic or different rhytms also be added? As that is the standard for the Trinity exam board.

I have purchased the app and like the features you're offering. There's just one thing I am having a problem with. The app stops playing if the screen is off or if i switch apps. I want it to keep playing in the background. Can I expect this feature?

Great practice app, and well worth buying the deluxe version! One great improvement would be the ability to incrementally increase the tempo of the scales after each repeat, or numbers of repeats.

Confused by the lack of natural minor scales? Bought the paid version with the hope that it added natural minors but still only harmonic and melodic minors. I'm a new musician so maybe I'm unaware of something. App is really good though and highly recommended.

It's pretty good. I like it. Very basic. Could use more simple features for better use. I'm advanced musician. Very good for beginners.

I love it. I think if you wrote the names of the notes, e.g. C E G (Major Arppegio) under the notes on the staff it would make it more interesting. Also, if we were able to tap on the notes to add or remove them from the scales, this app would be the top one.

Nice to have actual pitches to play along with as a check on intonation. Very useful to practice matching pitch. As useful as tuners can be, nothing beats matching an actual pitch.

Good simple app worth the cash wish I could edit my own scales then with the save scale option we could write and practice our own melody's that would be amazingly amazing please...

It accomplishes well its proposal. It'd be great if there were some features like arpeggios or repeating notes in the scale.

Excellent practice tool. After purchasing the full version without ads I found out there is a pro version of this app for the same price. Is it the same app with exactly the same features? I certainly recommend it.

This is a perfect app, it's been helping me a lot with practising scales and apergios. One question though... because I bought other scales, if I delete this app, will I find these other scales or will I have to buy them again?

Great way to learn scales without fumbling around looking in a folder, thus saving time.

Great app ! simple but effective. Makes scale practice a little less tedious. Could the maximum tempo in some way be increased ?

Exactly what I need to learn to sing with my guitar. The notes sound different than a piano it would be cool if you guys added guitar chords too.

Nei. E. Nov 1, 2019

Gives one solitary scale to practice - and if you want more, you need to pay.... BUT they don't tell you what you are going to get for your money!

This app is great now I don't need to use a piano by all the time and it plays the scales for me at whatever tempo

Pat. S. May 15, 2021

It plays all of the scales I need. This seems to help my ear training.

Dyl. O. Nov 19, 2018

Needs three octave scales, and an option to stay in treble clef instead of switching to bass
