Scalextric ARC

Installed fine on my Galaxy Tab s3. Mostly intuitive to use I guess. The main problem is that on my tablet the facility to reduce the power to a car/ controller didn't work so cars always could run at full power, which made it next to useless for small children to play. Scalextric support was slow and unhelpful. Ultimately I installed the Magic ARC app instead. This worked perfectly.

Fun for all the family! Had some initial issues connecting tablet and phone (Galaxy Tab S2 & Note 8) downloaded legacy app and connected within the software, NOT via the devices bluetooth pairing. After legacy app conected and was closed this version connected ok. Have had some fun races so far. App needs updates as does the product library as several cars are not in this app but are in the legacy? C3845 Red Bentley as an example. This is a great idea I hope development of the app improves.

There is a good app hiding in here but sadly it is hidden by bugs. The app badly needs real world testing. I suspect it's been tested on software simulators rather than scalextric sets. Issues: using the brakes causes the cars to stutter, button mashing the brake 4 or 5 times releases it. No yellow flags, no incidents despite being selected. Same issue when using 4 different app devices. By comparison, the Magic Arc app works fine in all these aspects. Come on Scalextric, this is not acceptable.

Absolutely shocking app crashes all the time I have not yet even been able to run a race yet. Bluetooth keeps disconnecting. Will crash every couple of minutes if I could give a minus score would be minus 10. I contacted scalextric and they said to me I have just tried with a upto date device and it works fine 🤬 not impressed with customer service

Easy to set up and use, but annoying to use with kids. Per-car throttle limits can be set, but when a race ends the limits are instantly removed resulting in cars jumping to top speed and flying off the track. I prefer the third-party Magic ARC app.

Good... if you can get it to work. Otherwise it is pretty poor on android. I've been using it for 3 years, it never gets updated and still has the same measurement bugs. Its crashed big time now which is a shame because it was good for lap times and race position recording.

Whilst it works fine with your set that you have purchased, it has a lot of short falls especially when it comes to customising your tracks. This app could be amazing but falls short of just being average.

Non functional and no diagnosis supplied to work out why. 99% of smartphones are NOT on their compatible list, so seems that you are expected to buy a phone purely for Scaletrix. Frustrating because could be quite a good App if designed for use by a typical customer.

Makes the set unusable. I've got the latest Skalextric Arc Pro and latest Android version on my Sony Xperia phone but no connection and the app throws up a fault/key code required message. This is overcome by using the old legacy app . Really not good .

Pretty useless app. Doesn't connect via Bluetooth and the update didn't solve anything either. Had more success writing software for my raspberry pi. If I can get that to work, then I ask what are scalextric doing?

Not very happy for the price I paid for scalextric set 1403, the app and powerbase have been an issue and only had the set a day. Constantly have power issues whilst racing using the scalextric app reporting Thier might be debres in the track or car contact may need looking at, also unable to use the official app having to use 5hr legacy app for it too work OK my android Sony Xperia 1. And agin same issues with the powerbase.

Absolute garbage!!! And Customer Care is useless!!! It won't connect via Bluetooth and displays incorrect track set AND cars in my set.

Only works when it feels like it, does not even have all its own Scalextric models listed. Very disappointing, the expense is not worth it.

Needs major improvements. Slot racing is enjoyable with less moving parts or moving parts that work above average. Keep at it.

Our track is not on it. C1329. Can't select custom track. Periodically works, overall very disappointed

My Samsung s8 also can't connect to powerbase anymore. Worked fine a few months ago. Please fix. It's so frustrating that we can't us our system that we paid good money for.

brand new to it and note 8 will not connect to power base. no real point in going digital.

iT Does connect you have to plug in out put Bluetooth on off took a while , but the car list is poor, got No Evo or sooby ??? Need more then 5 star

worked well at first, now all of a sudden can not get to driver set up without the app closing, but everything else works ?

Will not work with my Galaxy9. Had to go with a 3rd party app. Try "Magic Arc" It should work with Scalextric ArcPro Digital.

Useless app, won't connect on Bluetooth. Use the magic arc app instead.

This app will not connect my s8 to the arc pro powerbase. It worked fine a few months ago.

So complicated to race, add cars then just crashes not counting laps etc just frustrating

Good if it worked Pacecar don't work , try to calibrate and the car just judders along Downloaded magic app instead No problems

Latest update now app won't connect to track at all. MagicARC app works tho

Would not connect to Bluetooth on Samsung A5 2016 (Magic app works fine though). Uninstalled.

why doesn't the app say 'Go' when you're finished in the pit lane like the Apple version does?

Not the best app. Keeps saying power overload and freezing.

Lots of potential, but very flaky and awkward to use
