The app used to work great. Before the new design more than six months ago, I rarely had any problems with the app. Then they redesigned it and the scanner doesn't work right anymore. All of my background phone notifications across the top flicker like a strobe light, the phone gets too hot, and it takes ateast 30 seconds for the picture to take, when it does, it's unfocused and can't read the barcode, so you have to try again, and again, taking several minutes for each item. Why bother.

App no longer works. Scans were just spinning and then it would ask for my preference. I uninstalled and tried to get through the initial setup but it gets stuck on selecting my preference. Custom option does not work selecting zabihah just spins for a second but doesnt move to another screen. Mar 27 2020 Thank you for fixing the app. Adjusted my score as this is the best scanner. This is a very good idea and user friendly. However the actual implementation needs alot of improvements. I have only been able to successfully scan just a few products at start and now whenever I scan a barcode, it ALWAYS asks me if 'I am a helper' and would like to submit details of this product and I happily oblige. But then it FAILS to upload the pictures saying 'Incomplete information' and then exits. And I am never able to get my information that I needed.

many features of this app doesn't work. app crashes when open tutorial. custom setting isn't available anymore. I've sent info of many products that were not in their data base but they're still being processed after a year. i still am looking for any app that may have better result. I'd love to pay any amount if worth it. so, always read ingredients before you buy anything. any suspicious ingredient can be verified online.

So this app is pretty great except for one thing, selecting my dietary preferences doesn't really work. I would prefer to just be avoiding pork but it keeps resetting itself to the strictest setting when I close the app. Also sometimes the camera function glitches out and I have to open and restart the app again. Especially if I tried to pick dietary preferences..

Great idea and a great app, but to many bugs. It closes randomly and then every time you click the app it keeps closing. Also it will make me choose zabiha and then when I choose it, it says that it is saving my settings but stays stuck and doesn't save. If you could fix these bugs and get more foods in the database this app would be perfect

Many basic and regular items missing on your list and it won't even accept the helper data that I try to share. 100s of items couldn't be uploaded because it keeps failing each time with this stagnant error, " Failed to upload item, incomplete information." Even after filling up even the optional information. Fix it or remove yourself from playstore. I tried from Samsung s6 n Samsung s10+ same error on 2 different phones with different accounts.

Not sure what's going on with the app. It used to work perfectly before. It stopped working since few weeks ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but that did not help. Every time I open the app it ask me to select my dietary preferences. And when I scan a bar code it keep saying "loading" and nothing happens. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Not working lately, any idea why? tried reinstalling, still not opening up Overall is a good app, sometimes scanner doesn't work properly, but if you close the app and reopen, it usually works ok

It has very few verified items. It's picture taking ability is very poor. I have submitted several products but there is nothing in history. I paid what you asked for the professional version, but I still have the same basic version.

Great before!!! But not loading any more. Every time I open this app it says that it is not working for some reason try to close the app and try again. But I've tried that it doesn't work, I've tried erasing the data and cache of the app but no use. But anyways I will rate it based on past experience, it used to be awesome and great but it also did not have too many products. Most of the time when I scanned something it would say I am a helper. Please fix this and I will rate 5 🌟.

Was working great the first few days, now its not loading anymore, I get this msg every time I open it (something went wrong while trying to start the app, please close and try again) I even tried to remove it and reinstall it, but I am still getting the same error. The idea is amazing though 😞

Great app but I'm having a problem with it. Every time I open the app it brings up the dietary preferences page and when I click save it tells me it's saving and is just constantly loading but when I exit the page the camera blacks out and the entire app is blank. It keeps doing this even though I restart the app and I've also tried deleting and reinstalling it.

I like the app it does help me very much when I can't remember which ingredients that are Haram or whem I'm unsure or skeptical of a product I've never tried. If the app can't give me an answer I'm able to help out by taking a picture of the front lable and the back lable of the ingredients so the experts can come to an conclusion to help everyone else.

very helpful and fast. it's also very easy to use. doesn't have all the food choices but you can take pictures and send it. after some time they'll send you feedback whether it's permissable or not.

I was using the app nearly every time I go to grocery but after the update I cannot use it. It doesn't work on anything, I cannot even make a dietary selection. I guess there is a problem with connecting the servers.

App is easy to use, but need improvements. Can't upload items to add to the base for future scans. Doesn't look like it gets updated regularly. Overall a useful app to have.

Hello i am a customer that loved this app but it has stopped submitting products and says error incomplete data.i checked every thing and reviews and people have been having the same problem as me so i would like for you to please fix this bug it has me annoyed. Thanks :)

I use this app since 4 years. It is good and I purchased prime membership this year to support it. But I noticed that it is slow nowadays and take long time to load first time. It is also slow when I submit a new product and take a pictures.

Nice when they have data on the product, but not when I try to upload a picture as a helper. It shows "Error - Incomplete data". The contact us and facebook links don't work.

Waste of space! I don't know why people rated it anything other than 1 star! Makes you scan and then haves you take images but then doesn't work. Also the camera in this app is awful, picture will not focus even though my pixel 4 XL camera app doesn't have the issue.

It is much slower with the updated version. It freezes most of time. Scanning is a hassle..It is an useful app if they could figure out the issue going on recently.

AsSalamuAlaikum, I have deleated my priro review and am now haveing to rewrite it, and reduce you to one star. I am having many issues iwth the app. I paid for the full app quite some time ago and have have since watch the app degrade to uselessness. Twice I have tried to email support only to have my emails come back, with an automatied reply from Google saying the addres is no longer active. I wish now that I could go back in time and not download this app, knowing what I know now. Without support, this is simply junk.

Doesn't scan. Every time I try to scan they ask me to input product pics and info. When I do do that they don't accept. Says incomplete information even though I have provided everything they have asked and optional infos as well. They don't give you result of your scan unless you submit this. Useless...
