I've had Scanguard now for almost 4 years! Every issue I've experienced,which have been few, have been addressed immediately and very professionally and this is why I'm still with Scanguard or I word have switched long ago to another Company/App! I'm HIGHLY PLEASED WITH SCANGUARD AND PLAN TO STAY WITH THEM FOR A LONG TO COME! M.C. BURTON & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CO/APP !!!
This app was recommended by 1+, and I thought it was free. Turned out to be$19 for a year. That amount doesn't cover everything, I think it's more like $99 for everything. Service seemed good, but I did not wish to continue service after a year. I get a fraud alert from my credit card, as they tried to bill me twice for another year.
Scanguard has worked well on my machines... I haven't searched for a confirming app. as that's what Scanguard is in place for. I've had it in place for a few years and no need to replace it.
Love it... getting better and better... however i have different devices such as a Android phone windows 10 laptop and and Amazon fire tablet i have conflicting and confusing redundant subscription across platforms i think i will cancel my subscription and go with the factory install av on my devices.l been a member for a number of years.with all the bells and whistles until i sort this out. The "contact us" link doesnt take you to any source relates to contacting anybody anywhere. Big red flag. If you value your files then I wouldnt suggest using the duplicate finder.. Its not that it doesnt find duplicates that is the concern but the fact it THINKS it has found duplicates that are NOT duplicates. (although if you claim its a duplicate finder it should find duplicates atleast if not nothing) I didnt make any other use of any other features of the app because I've seen enough
I honestly haven't had a chance to look at this app but I've just come across my apps that have caused crashes and this one has over 15 crashes without my even running the program to see if I liked it or not so will have quick look but if you can explain how a program I've not open be crashing on its own
I came into this app expecting problems because of no reviews. I am happy to say my fears were unfounded. The only problems I had, my inexperience . The people at "SCANGUARD" (very patient people) walked me through! They know what they are doing and price was unbelievably low! If you go anywhere else first it's your loss. Thieving c*nts. Quick to take my money out months after i had paid any subscription fees. They harrass and email that subscription has lapsed, ignore emails saying its lapsed because i dont want the app. No response from them when ive asked to cancel. They keep taking money for 2 different unused accounts! Thieving C#NTS
$3.00/ Month to detect/scan. If you want to clean and get the full protection it claims to give. It's going to cost you. As separate upgrades. Ugh
This is a scam. I downloaded it and authorizated one transaction. They tried to charge my card 5 times in one night and again this morning. I cancelled the account and spoke to customer service to be told "Oh I have never seen this before". Yeah ok, we'll see if i get a refund. I would steer clear of this app. Always use a prepaid card online, always!!! This app should be called ScamGuard because they will scam all if your money if you let them.
I hope that I wasn't charged for it. I didn't agree to pay anything or shown a cost for downloading this scanguard app. If there is a charge remove it from my account and remove the app. I googled free apps and this came up.
Just downloaded this evening it freed up a ton of storage for me that I wasn't allowed to do with Google Google Chrome except for buying more storage. So far so good scanning the apps.
I have made several attempts to get Customer service to address my VPN bought & paid 4 at the new year, yet their technical support can not fix my VPN option to date...!!!
Way too many catches , you have to upgrade ( pay) to get any kind of protection. I deleted it.
I have been able to keep any type of issues with my phone. Scan Guard is a good app. and I have been using it for 2 years now. Customer Service is on the ball! They have always been helpful when I call. It's a great price to use.
I have been with scabbard for last 4yrs excellent support and customer service. Cannot wait until they bring out iPad app for scanguard protection on other devices iOS.
Amazing customer service! Had a billing issue with this company. I sent 1 email and the problem was resolved in 15 minutes on a Sunday evening. Was expecting email Monday. Amazing customer service.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP! The company has charged me several monthly payments without my permission. I tried to work with them to get refunded and they refuse to do anything except keep my money. I have filed a complaint and will be pursuing this matter until they refund the money the took illegally. Read the reviews and you will see that this is a common issue
Once you register for free protection, you have to purchase mor addons for the damn program to work. So much for free protection. False addvertising.
checking out my bank account I noticed had a $70 charge from scanguard. I didn't even know what scanguard was I never signed up for it I don't recall ever given permission for anyone to set me up with scanguard. why checked out my mask are staying if it turns out I've been getting charged every month for the last two years since January 17th I believe they said. anyway scanguard scam card I think I've been getting scam for 2 years and I didn't even know that's my review not happy
I prefer my cell protection from my carrier. Sorry, I don't wish to continue to PAY for your service, when I can get it free, and I don't have issues. Thank you anyway, for the trial.
I have been using Scanguard 3 years now only feature I wish they would add is auto set up scans at a certain time as I don't remember daily but thankfully have been safe...
want scan my device because it's saying I'm not connected to wifi I use mobile data and it wants you to upgrade before it really does any thing so this is not a free app it's played app you should have said so
They overcharged me each month after a trial without telling me, and then charged me for multiple devices ($70). When I realized it, they would only refund me the renewel they just charged me and I cancelled my account! They don't even send you emails about when they charge you monthly. I only just got one for the $70, then I contacted them and got that refunded plus $8.99 for this month which was supposed to only be $2.99.
