Great app, although it seems as of lately that it isn't working anymore, states that it is rescanning, but then nothing updates anymore. Will go back up to 5 stars once fixed
Great app! Rescans the media, so that dumb Samsung gallery app can finally "see" the files where they really are.
I have an app that adds images without updating the media library, and this app finds them all so they appear in the Gallery.

I have this problem where I download photos, videos or music and nothing shows up, but they're in my file explorer.. I don't understand, this is a brand new phone, and I've been looking everywhere for help, and everyone seems to say this app works, but it didn't for me.. I just lost the screenshots and camera photos I had ( which seemed to be the only thing that saved ) and all it said was that the media was scanning.. Then nothing, and apon checking my album or music, there was nothing there.. Please help..
I would download photos from an app and they would never show up in my gallery unless I went into the storage on my phone and saw the photo there. Now, if I don't see a picture I just run this app and the picture will automatically show up. No settings to adjust or anything, just install the app and you're good.
Works flawlessly, usually leave big reviews, but i si.ply cannot other than 5 stars and explain top job, does exactly what it says on the tin n it aint Ron Seal this more like MediaReSeal 😂🔥✌️😎
Excellent tool, and works every time! After reading a few of the comments from other users, I'd like to point out that the app doesn't need an interface, it just works AND to see the results of the scan, just look in your Gallery app =)
I was having trouble with my gallery not listing properly and showing broken thumbnails this forced a gallery recheck. Now the empty photos are gone. Couldn't have asked for better

Motorola Defy+ with Android 2.3. Tiny (60 kB storage, 2.5MB RAM) free application, no interface, no adds, Just click on the application icon and it does its job in the background, reasonably fast. I needed this after clearing the data of the Android Media Storage application (my library was not making any sense after several deletions and file movements and renames). Thanks to the developer.
This app does what it sets out to do with a simple tap and no bloat. This has saved me countless phone reboots.
YOU MUST DELETE ANY FILES NAMED ".NOMEDIA" IN ANY FOLDERS YOU WANT TO SCAN FIRST! This app only TRIGGERS a scan but some apps (like Facebook and whatsapp) use a system file called ".nomedia" to hide folders from a media scan. Use a file explorer app to find and delete them

Amazing to have an app that does what it says! Fixed my music files which NO player would recognize. You simply push the button and it scrubs your files and players immediately recognized ALL of 53GB of music! Happy!!!

Transferred Google music to SD card and this didn't correct the issue.
Extremely easy, worked very well. I had over 1,000 items plus 400 songs. After scanning 2-3 times, and reboot my phone now has all my media properly sorted out. Thank you to the creative director (:
This is a life saver! I was about to cry because I thought I lost thousands of pictures on my device but thank goodness I found this app! The only thing I wish for this app is to provide a notification if the scanning has been finished but anyway, thank you for this! I could give you ten stars if I could, you really have my gratitude.
