Scanner 911

I've tried sooo many scanner apps that either interrupt the conversation with adds popping in or they cancel out having to b reset. I saw Scanner 911. Figured I'd try it. I'M GLAD I DID!! SCANNER 911 RULES!!!!! Super Clear Audio that can be adjusted and with Eq. Has approximate Miles on side for each jurisdiction. Keep up the Great Job. Please Do NOT Change Anything unless u get same listener input from Numerous input from ppl that think it's a good or bad idea

Far better than the last 2 I've tried. Lighter on the phone. Meaning it doesn't slow down my dinosaur of a phone that only has 4gb internal memory and is completely full from just the system files that came preinstalled on the phone, and is like 10+ years old. It doesn't drain the battery as fast as the last two. And is fast and easy to find a local Police band. I would like to see the ability for it to auto change the station as you travel from one county to the next. Switching as soon as you cross the county line. It would come in super handy for people who drive for a living. Another Feature I would like to see is an auto translator, so when they start talking in their code talk it speech-to-text the conversation into plain English and whatever languages it supports.

4 stars because it works. Two other scanner apps I installed would not work. This app could be better by having the option to sort feeds by name as well as distance. Also, the distances are incorrect. The feeds in and around my town are shown as being about 12 miles away, while towns 10 or more miles away are shown as being closest to me. There is no feed shown with a distance of less than 6 miles away, so there is definitely a problem with distances. A separate tab for favorites would be nice.

Revision: (((((I will still give it a 4, it will stop every 30 minutes or so and you can hear an old busy signal, why does it do this, anything sound familiar to anyone? ))))) Oh, this one has a drop down 10's code in the menu. Great scanner, wish you could link so you could scan more than one dept at a time, like scanning different dept's frequency back to back. Revised, the adds do show up but they're not bad at all. Wish you could scan more than 1 chanel at a time though.

Best Scanner App I've Ever Had ! The other police Scanner App I used (now uninstalled), would inadvertently cut off, or disconnect too often. I would check to see if it was still receiving and it would say "Connecting". I have a hearing problem and would have to use an Amp on the old App; but Scanner 911 comes in loud and clear. I love this Scanner App. Great Job 👍

Recently this last month, I've noticed Scanner 911 has been repeating broadcasting. I noticed when I was listening I heard, what ended up being, the same 3min of information being played from the prior 3 min of live broadcasting. It was confirmed, I wasn't mistaken, when a dispatcher airs a call or an update they report the exact time & log that time stamp. This same thing occurs several times a day, every day. ....WHYYYY????

This is an excellent scanner! It opens right to my area. I don't have to scroll through a bunch states, then cities to finally find my county. Reception is chrystal clear - no hum or static. If a different channel has static I can play with the squelch. I have several friends who are cops and I love knowing/worrying what's happening when they're on duty!

Most of these scanners have obnoxious ads and limited station connectivity, but not this one! Good, simple interface. Works great consistently.

Awesome audio quality, and is easy to use! One thing that should be added is more range. I hope the app could potentially stretch from coast to coast in radio range, although 100 miles is impressive.

Over 75% of the time that I try using the app, it tells me NOT RESPONDING. I can switch to another similar app. It connects right away. Don't waste your time downloading this. Also this is a professional opinion. I am a Firefighter. 🚒

Opens and shows all the scanners in my area but just says loading and NEVER plays anything after I select one. Tried check connection and all is OK but it still never gets past loading. Have force stopped the app and that doesn't work. Completely useless.

This is an amazing app. I can tune into almost any of the dispatch frequencies. The only problem that I have with this app, is that it doesn't have a lot of local radios. For example my own hometown/county.

Love it, but it turns off by itself. I have to keep going in & turning it back on. Other than that, it is clear & picks up my local channels. This past week, I can not get it to turn on at all. Very disappointed 😞

this app is the best scanner I have found it doesn't have it overrun of ads works well. the only drawback from five stars is it will not play over if you're watching a video and you cannot scan more than one channel. other than that this is definitely worth your time

Pretty good app that doesn't quit working after screen turns off, at least not when the frequency is active. Things go on in my own neighborhood all the time.

im very happy with this app. it's straight forward there's no free sign with a fine print contract so really it's the bees knees lol. Its pathetic that a free app that's free is my only want in this world aha along with level of effort i must apply just to ease drop on this one chick talking to 4 men on 100 different stations n loving her own voice only wish they would show a map of the area uppity were listening to. body cam footage would be good too but won't happen lol
