The system is extremely slow. When scanning the identity verification page, it is very difficult.
With the new update, I am able to restrict credit cards for online payment, both domestics and overseas. This is a great feature which giving me a peace of mind.
The layout is crowded and confusing, looks messy, too much advertising for the bank' services, animation is hard on the eyes...to me anyway
After SCB applying security measurement something to their customers without getting any consent, my card was blocked and I could not make any online transaction. Couldnt contact their hotline to ask for help, was put on hold for like hours (in total) and couldnt meet a human. Tried to reinstall app to see if I missed out any updates and then I can no longer login anymore. Sorry but this is pretty trash.
Last update was supposed to go smoothly, but all of a sudden all of my cards are blocked and the updated app is supposed to allow us to unblock them but doesn't. I have the app to avoid the agonising hour long phone calls. Urgh!!!
Since the 21-01-2022 update, I can no longer use my debit card to make online purchases. Tried registering card on the App' but it won't let me. Tried calling 02-7777777. Kept on hold every time, with different departments, never got to speak to a human being. I even tried random departments, all put on hold. There are multiple reviews, all stating similar problems, since the "enhanced security measures" were installed. This needs to be sorted ASAP. Now I can't even post this review...........!
It seems many customers had the same problem. The app update doesn't exist. The card is blocked. Customer service took 40 minutes to get through and then cut me off. All transactions blocked. Very inconvenient
For anyone having problem unlock the online payment go to your accout page its the page that you can see how much money you have. The scroll down to the bottom to click add new account and then enter the OTP code and add your debit card again. Yes you some how need to add it again then you will see new a new button in your account page call My debit/ATM card click on that banner then on the right side click Other services tab and you can unblock online payment there. Its a horrible APP yeah..
Whenever I wanted to use it for online payment must always got something wrong. "Can't making the process at this time" or even can't login to check my account balance. This error always happened everyday.
ToS changed too frequently, asking for thrid party data sharing TOO MUCH.
UI and UX are terrible. The app feels like it's from 2012. It doesn't even support punch hole displays.
Cannot update app as per their instructions, cannot unlock debit card for online use that they in their stupidity blocked as default for no reason ( and that they make an annual charge for use), 15 minutes waiting for call answer to unlock and gave up, shambolic service and this isn't their only poor service!!
No ability to update app either in the app or via PlayStore. Cannot update to version 3.5.1 to re-enable online payments that SCB will bizarrely disable from end of 2021. Beyond idiotic.
stupid security update. lock my card. I update apps and not have debit card in apps so I can't pay for other country. really annoy. If SCB do other stupid again I'll not use for SCB forever.
Scb blocked my payments to grab. GRAB! Guess ordering dinner will have a heavy dent into my account. Been on hold for 10 minutes now. And the Easy ap has NO instructions on how to even view the grab debits. What a pain!!!
You are getting spammed with ads inside a corporate banks internet banking. It is crazy annoying that every time you open the app, a pop-up shows with some commercial from some company. I mean, what professional bank does that?? It's not Lazada, I am a paying customer. remove these ads and please.
I'm in the middle of a QR payment, the app says update first. Of course the update doesn't work. Trash
Surprisingly, I managed to unblock my international online payment. I just browsed and added my account and it worked! 😅
It'll be better if we can request for statements in English since other banks can do this from their app.
Bad app with error and can't log in. Call centre asked to fix at branch. After spent 1 hoot, they can't fix it and said technical will call me back. 2 days now and didn't get any call to help fix it. I didn't use book account as that's why app is serving for. So I have to pay fee to have new book and they even bother about my problem and want to collect a fee. Other banks are much better with friendly use.
Totally useless App. Can't log in to my existing account after installing. Keeps saying my personal details given are wrong and just prompts me to retry, which I did about 20 times before finally giving up and deleting this waste of space on my phone. SCB you seriously urgently need to fix this app. With all the high fees you charge customers it is not like you can't afford to make a new one.that actually works!
Really bad experience and annoying method of keep reset the finger print everytime mobile phone is update while other banks still keep the finger print information. The method of changing and retrieving pin is also not convenient and force me to travel to the local branch all the time.
As others have found. Latest updates have blocked interested payments. Help.....not helpful.
After recent update (2022). App stopped working with error messge " information not available, try agian latter"
They blocked my online payment, said that I can unblock it with newest version of this app. I updated, didnt see anything new about it. It's still the same exact interface from last update and different from what's shown on web so I cant unblock it and cant do online transaction. I called the customer service, no answer even after waiting for 8 mins. Very inconvenient, wasted my time.
