Scentbird: online beauty shop perfume & cosmetics

They seem to have security issues? They've made me change my password THREE times since signing up 2 weeks ago, due to "a security update"... that can't be good, can it? Does that mean they're constantly getting hacked?? If it happens again I'll have to assume my payment info is not safe with them 😳 Also it takes them a full day to send a reset password link, so if you need to make a change to your queue or your billing you are effectively locked out until they finally do. Very frustrating.

I thoroughly enjoyed this app and service. However, they require you to email them them twice to cancel a subscription. They allow you to upgrade and spend more money with a simple click of a button in the app. The process should be the same for cancellation. I will change my rating when they alter this policy. The service is otherwise great, but requiring two emails to cancel is egregious.

The new app still doesn't work as well as the web version. You can't click the ingredient icons. On the website you can click & it takes you to other scents that have those ingredients. Unless I've missed it, you still can't "buy my queue" on the app like you can on the website (lost opportunities & revenue). Overall I've been VERY happy w SB. Great customer service & enjoy reading abt the scents. Also, new SB logo is a downgrade & very bland. Previous cute bird was fun & easily identifiable.

Your 1 star rated items show up in suggestions, proving it doesn't learn you at all. Anything good is $5-10 more. The empty case is almost as much as the scent itself! Come here on a free scent promo? Sorry to say you don't get to choose. It's English Laundry - Oxford Bleu. Had I known that, I wouldn't have signed up. You can't cancel on the app. It'll ask you why, only to ignore your request, and only invite you to skip. They bank on you'll be too stupid or lazy to remember to email them.

This app is absolutely wonderful! Not only do I get to try many different cologne brands and fragrances, but I can order a whole bottle of I so choose. I also love that if I want to wait to get more, I can skip 1, 2, or 3 months. This has been an amazing app for both myself and my wife. Whether u want cologne or perfume, ScentBird is the place to get it.

This review is for the app itself not the service. The service including customer service have been stellar. However, I sincerely despise the app update - symbol, change of icons, and color scheme in particular. Sure, neon pink wasn't for everyone, but various shades of taupe and ecru make me feel like I'm walking into a trying-too-hard boutique where every scent will be musky and I'll leave in search of green plants as though I've been in the desert.

Its ok so far. I dont like that if I want more cases I have pay $10 more per month. $10 a case is too much, for a cheaply made thin plastic twisty tube. Its like something that could be bought at a DollerTree store.

Love the service. My fourth shipment is currently out for delivery. Delivery is fast and my new scents are here before I know it. Only small complaint was that it was a little difficult to figure out how to change my scent profile. I ended up finding it on the main website but it took quite a bit of searching. Other than that, I'm obsessed with the fact that I have such a wide variety of scents to browse and enjoy!

I have been a customer of Scentbird for 4 months now and I absolutely love this app. They're perfumes smell delicious, they are long-lasting, and they get delivered to me and no time at all. I would recommend this to anybody that likes a change in perfume and doesn't want to pay a full price for a bottle. I get a 30-day supply of anything I want and I keep collecting them and they keep piling up. I absolutely love this app!

This was a fun & inexpensive way to try out new colognes with out being stuck with a giant bottle of something that gives you a headache. But when you love the sent you will have to get the bottle at a store, I just wish these were a little larger in size, otherwise totally cool experience I'd recommend to try.

I love the business model, great choices but the app sucks. Pages load super slow. The menus (UI) has slowly improved but still needs work. Im still a subscriber just critical.

Worst search ever. If you type the exact name of a fragrance, you will never find it. You have to continually guess whether the fragrance you are looking for is out of stock, they never had it, or the search is working poorly. If I search for "Tom Ford" I get a bunch of Tommy Bahama and Chloe???? and other unrelated brands. There is no way to sort search results either. However if I use google and search for the name + scentbird, the right product page actually shows up! Get it together.

The app is easy to use and the concept is exactly what I was needing. No commitment to one perfume. Sample perfumes that sound nice and see if you really like them.

Scentbird is truly a gift to men and women. They have every imaginable fragrance, scented candle, or makeup out there that you can get for a discounted price and it's absolutely amazing! Thanks for making people feel great about themselves!!

Would've been a cool service if they actually had some punctuality.. my first batch was already late as it is. Been waiting on my 2nd round of colognes for a month and a half now.. It shouldn't take almost 2 months to ship a 2 oz sample of cologne... Cancelling subscription

I have repeatedly sent a request to cancel my account and yet this company keeps trying to charge my account which has caused so many financial issues for me because they have not cancelled it.

The tracking is non existent and email support is also lacking. I'm a new customer and I don't see how I could recommend scent bird to friends and family in good conscience. I'm hopeful they will get it together.

Customer service is very helpful and it's easy to cancel a subscription, you can also just buy products outright if you want, and you get products cheaper than you would if you got the products elsewhere but still very high quality

Exceptional. Great app that works all the time and Scentbird is a great place to start exploring your fragrances or get ones you already love.

After wearing the same sent for 15 plus years I SAS urged by my daughter's to find something new. My oldest recommended this app and I am well and truly enamored with the ability to try new sense without the commitment of a big bottle. Love it

The scents I receive each month are amazing, very seldom do I end up with something I do not care for. I also appreciate that as time goes on you can develop a better curated scent profile that encompasses the notes that you care for. The best subscription I have ever paid for!

I got a subscription for for wife, originally but now we both have our own monthly subscriptions! If you are on the fence about trying Scentbird. DO IT!!! You wont regret it.

So far so good great selections and the Random surprise is the best part with getting the scents instead of insane amount for thinking of somebody might like well I will get verity's I might like this or maybe not but you tired it

I love I can pick and choose any sense that I want and it is amazing. And effortless. Thank you for making my dreams come true of wearing whatever scent I want and changing it up and not wearing the same thing all the time.

Loving this app and how easy they make it for you to choose your next fragrance. All fragrances are broken down as to their scents and even what season they are considered. You're able to put scents you are interested in into a queue and they have sales frequently!!

The app operates well enough. Customer Service has ALWAYS been excellent and resolved any questions or issues in a very positive and fast manner. The shipping is terrible. I'm not saying that I don't appreciate the free shipping, but it seems like they've found the absolute slowest carriers. I've had other free shipping experiences coming from the same origin area (NY) and received my package within a week, but with Scentbird I can always count on having to wait 2-3 weeks for my stuff to arrive.

Hate the app. Hate the service. I really wanted to love this. I love parfume, and I love their business model... Or I would if they had a clue what they were doing. The app is garbage. It replicates things in your queue, so you could end up with the same parfume in your queue dozens of times. Most importantly, they charge my account and send out my order randomly. If you're on a budget, or trying to keep track of when subscription costs come in, it can really mess up your finances.

They have great customer service. I had a loose cap leaky tube come in once and they replaced it right away with no problem. The thing that leaves a sour taste in my mouth is the structure of the process, they bill you so late in the month and process your order that your monthly order doesn't come until a week or two into the next month.

So excited this is my first order. It is due to come today. I love the quiz and how it gives you sense of what you might be looking for. However, I want to switch it up so I pick something random. The tiers for pricing is definitely reasonable. The app is easy to navigate through and yes you can track your package in the app.
