This app is useful for creating your shopping lists. The ability to clip digital coupons is also super helpful. It will even suggest coupons for items you've added to your list in the past. I do wish that the shopping list function would give a running total. That would be extremely helpful for times when you need to stay within a budget.
Edit: It looks like the newest release fixed the issue with selecting a home store. Interesting though it only finds 1 store in my area, even though I have 2 stores within 5 miles of my house(same zip code). Plus, it's finding the one that is farther away. Something is still broken it appears. Do the devs even bother testing apps on a real device before pushing them out to the play store, or just claiming it is production ready and waiting for us to tell you something is broken? Keeps kicking me back out every time I try to select my home store. I don't appear to be there only one having this issue. This is just sad.
I've tried to install on my Android phone and it goes completely out when I go to choose my home store. I've decided to uninstall it from my phone and write this review. Glad I'm not the only with problems and it's obvious Schnucks is not listening because too many are having problems with this app to no avail. Update (4/12/2022): Thanks, I've downloaded the app and it is working fine so far. Thanks for responding to my comment and bringing a resolution to my earlier comment.
Edit: with the newest update it seems it is working a bit better, but it still doesn't find all the stores in a zip code. It's getting there and at least it seems they are working to make improvements. What happened? Used to work but now I can't change my home store so I can't access any coupons. I'm so annoyed. Fix the problem, Schnucks!
Won't let me sign in, try and login with my existing account and it asks my name and phone number. I enter that and it takes me to a page saying that number belongs to an existing account, which I know and am trying to use, and asks if I want to login to my existing account...and the loop keeps repeating. Tried resetting the password, reinstall, cleared caches and data, and it keeps doing the same thing and won't let me on. I'm uninstalling and shopping at dierbergs.
Awful. Couldn't use the payment method I wanted to, pictures don't load, can't communicate with my shopper, and it wouldn't let me use the rewards points I had which is,why I used this instead of instacart in the first place. Don't bother.
Won't let me order curbside or home deliveries, there is no button or option for it and when I thought I was in the delivery area of the app it had no items to show that I could add to cart.
I can't log in, I changed my password and everything. It's up to date. This app has always been trouble to me.
In the beginning it worked great but has become glitchy the bar code scan has stopped working all together. I hope the right people see this and the app starts working to potential again.
So far it is not allowing me to even set the closest store, IT keeps knocking me out. Now, I went back in today and tried it, it allowed me to update all of my information, I was able to put in the store location. My only problem is I have shopped there two times and I do not get to get the rewards. Thank you for all of your help. P.S. you do not have any Ethnic hair products for Black people in your store. A lot of Black people shop at your store. I am going to have to go somewhere else to get the hair products I need.
I just signed up for the Rewards. I believe you may have to "re-install", for lack of a better word, your Note 10 to have the Rewards work for you. I noticed that it acknowledged my type of cellphone device "#" when I installed the Rewards on my cellphone, but I'm not that tech savvy. It was just something I noticed.
Not worth the effort. For example, try searching "fruit" while bananas have a discount available. It won't show you bananas. You have to search specifically for "banana". Are we really supposed to search for each individual fruit? Try "meat." Watch absolutely nothing show up even though ribs, pork butt and more all have coupons. I just don't have all day to spend on a shopping app. And the "dollar deals"? Seems like they could offer at least 1 popular item instead of all things they can't sell.
Every time I try to use the app it wants me to set my home store. Then a lot of times it wants my password again, which is, I think, longer and more complicated than it needs to be. Now it says I need to update the app. When I tried, after 45 min. the update still wasn't completed. So I cancelled the update and tried again. After another 45 min. it again wasn't completed. While I appreciate the Schnucks Rewards, the app has become otherwise useless.
I can't sign in. I have made multiple attempts. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled it.
App worked ok until about a month ago. I have deleted, reinstalled and tried to reset 'cookies'. The app does not work. Unfortunately, Schnucks does not fix it. SO SAD! .
The staff was very polite and helpful! Loved the produce department! Will be shopping there often!
Constantly bombards user with requests to enable location service for better experience. Pressing cancel only results in the pop-up appearing 1 second later, rendering app unusable.
Great app! I love the ability to set up a shopping list, shop online and see if items are in-stock, and I especially love the rewards. They are for real!
I've recently started using Schnucks rewards, and I love the shopping list and the rewards system itself! However I am not able to clip any coupons in app. Every time I try to clip a coupon, I get a message that says "Failed to clip coupon". I have tried Uninstalling the app and installing it again and it still never works. My husband has the same issue on his as well. Hoping there is a solution for this soon.
An easy, streamlined app that is very intuitive for anyone who uses apps often. Vast improvement over the old app! Includes a Rewards tally, a barcode that you can scan AT CHECKOUT to get your rewards, and also allows you to clip digital coupons (Schnupons) and manage pharmacy in-app rather than having to go through your phone's internet browser. Much faster, more reliable, and I feel like it's more secure, as well. My only problem is that you currently can't modify your rewards earning/redemption preferences via the app, and have to do it through your profile on the website. Other than that, I have no complaints!
Downloaded this to use a coupon i saw in the store. This didn't allow me to link to my current rewards account I've been using in store for years now. The clipping process is far too complicated. I'm in IT and I can't figure it out. Could not get the barcode for the coupon to come up. I can't even find the tutorial to see if I missed something. On top of all of that 80% of the text is cut off. The next button in the tutorial says 'NE..' could be why I cannot figure out the coupon process.
It is great in that I have all my coupons on my phone, no paper ones necessary. Also great that I can see deals in store, or search for products. Also nice to earn rewards. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that i am a huge fan of the self-checkout in the store (much quicker), but i can't use the app that way. Coupons don't apply, and can't use rewards without the cashier making the adjustment manually. I feel like this should just automatically apply once I enter my phone number at checkout.
i just installed this app. So far, it looks like it's useful. However, one nice addition to this app would be the ability to check gift card balances. Update - as of 6/6/2020 downgraded to two stars - still no ability to check gift card balance. I've never created an account because they require my phone number. Why is that required to create an account? The help section is awful. It's in about the smallest font available, and there is no option to ask a question. There is no Contact Us option.
Coupons keep failing to load, and some won't clip and save... fix this issues. I literally just downloaded this app today at the store, and its completely useless... I'd give less than one star, but that's not an option unfortunately. It's now August 16th and you still haven't fixed the issues with the coupons, big surprise. And you wonder why stores are closing, cause you don't listen to your customers!
The update definitely helped the delivery aspect, but now coupons are impossible to search and clip (they were simple in the previous version and made a tedious chore not terrible). From my original 2 star rating: +2 stars for delivery aspect, -1 star for ruining coupons. (Previous review) Like the coupons, but accessibility, search, and sort definitely leave something to be desired. And they're behind the curve on pickup & delivery via app, which I didn't expect from Schnucks.
The app was working great okay now I can't sign in I used to be able just to open up the app and it automatically sign me in and now when I try to sign in it doesn't remember my password and it won't send me a refresh by email even though I keep hitting resend to my email
had the app and used it all the time for a couple of Months. Then it kept force closing. uninstalled and reinstalled countless times. still won't work at all. have sent feedback every time it crashes. still not functioning. peeved because when it worked it saved a boatload of money. to be honest I haven't shopped with Schnucks since I haven't been able to use the app for coupons
Cannot log in to my account after a required update. Tried removing and reinstalling and still unable to sign in. That renders the digital coupons useless.
Since new update in Dec. 2021 the search and scan do not work anymore . And i get this mesage sorry something went wrong . And also the showing of my reward dollars stopped . Although my shopping list and my special savings are still in tact.
Your app is one of the most intuitive grocery apps around. I love your shopping list by aisle and departments. I love the coupon functionality. The only thing your app doesn't do is tally up your total but for me that's just a minor inconvenience. Really I don't want you to change a thing. When I gave a review of Dierbergs or Walmart apps I mentioned they should study you app because yours is the most convenient of any of them.
