PRIVACY STATEMENT:
This app allows our Scholastic Book Fairs customers to search for books or scan a book’s cover, bar code, or QR code, using your mobile device’s camera, in order to view information related to the book.
This app includes a wish list feature, where students and adults can create lists of books of interest to them.
Adults can purchase books through the Scholastic Book Fair of their choice, by linking to Scholastic Online Book Fairs at store.scholastic.com or in the case of Storia eBooks, the Scholastic Store Online at bookfairs.scholastic.com. Adults are asked to select their Scholastic Book Fair by using their mobile device’s GPS tools or by entering a zip code. We ask users to do this so the school can earn rewards from Scholastic for the purchases made, and so that we know where to ship purchases. We do not save the GPS or zip code information. Each Scholastic Book Fair has an ID number in our system, and we do save the Scholastic Book Fair ID that is ultimately selected through the Fair check-in process.
Adults have the option of using a built-in Twitter or Facebook feature to share that they have checked in at the local Scholastic Book Fair. Scholastic does not save any information about these Twitter or Facebook accounts through these widgets.
Within the app, we may ask for (but do not save) a user’s date of birth to determine whether it’s appropriate for a child to use a particular feature. This app does not ask for personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13, and we will not intentionally collect any.
Additionally, Scholastic uses tracking technologies to determine how our app is being used by our visitors and to improve and customize it for our users. We use third party service providers to assist us in collecting and understanding app usage information. This data is stored anonymously and in aggregate and is not associated with any specific customer.

For some reason, some books were available for purchase and some you could just add to your wish list. There's no indication whether it's available or not to buy, it just would not let me add it to the cart. The funny thing is that I was able to go the scholastics club website and purchase the book which doesn't make sense to me. I had the same experience last year when trying to purchase a book thru this app. I'll just continue to purchase the books thru their website instead.
I installed the app and it didn't work at all at scanning a cover and scanning a barcode... didn't try anything else and uninstalled asap. Will definitely try it if it has an update or something.
this app is awesome not only can I scan the SKU information on the book, but if that doesn't show up then I can also scan the cover to access information. it's very rare that information doesn't pull up from scanning the skewer the cover of the book.
I like it because when you scan it you don't have to flip the pages and another reason is that when I think you can rent a book also another reason because you get to buy a book in the app I think and I think also you can friend people in the app to read together and the app is free but the sad part is I need to delete some apps but the good part is that I can free up space it it's fun the app YEET also subscribe to collens key or devan key they are funny they always say the word "YEET" bye.YEET
Worst app I've ever used. If you go to check out and have to go back into the app for any reason it will double your cart and there's no way to clear it. Horribly designed and I work in IT so I'm tech savvy. Pay the extra $5 to not use the app and save yourself the headache.
It requires a birthday to check out. If it's under a certain age it locks the apps ability to order and there's no apparent way to change the birthday. It simply says get a parents help with no instructions to the parent on how to help.
Everytime I went to review & vertify my order...it added the same books more times. My 25.00 order became $125. After starting over several time. I just logged out
this is a great expierence for children any age they can find what they want to read any time they want to read a good book examples: black lagoon books dr.susess books thank you for setting a good examle for my child and other children as well thank you and you people are so rude ugh!
Every Scholastic book I scanned to check the reading level came up with an error. It did not work.
I've tried multiple times to do ewallet and keep getting redirected to the website for volunteering.
Waste of time. App allowed me to put book fair books into the wishlist but not the cart. What's the point?

Buttons don't work so use is impossible.

Doesn't let you search the school and order online
This app duplicates your order if you go out of the cart and go back in. I want 5 books and now there's 20 and no way to delete the duplicates. Emptying the cart does nothing because when you go to put your credit card in the duplicates are still there and no way to delete them, even in review your order area. I've spent way to much time on this. Very very frustrating!!!
