Using the multi tenant unit. Works very well. audio/video stream opens instantly on demand. Unlocks doors also instantly and consistently. Customer service when needed was there to help. I would prefer a higher resolution video
app interface is simple and straightforward. It has everything you need and nothing more. You open the app and see the door right away, then one tap to answer. Snapshots and history are just as easy to access.
Works pretty well, notification sound could be louder, video sometimes may take a little long to connect, compared to other intercom solutions this system is great because no network configurations are required (port forwarding etc)
The app doesn't work. Troubleshooting by resellers also don't work. Nothing works. i have been told by the company to feedback to 'customer support' on their website link but unsurprisingly, the website has no discernible 'customer support' button. The mind *&^k continues. If it is possible to give zero stars, i will.
App works well on my phone but through trial and error I did have to make some phone changes to get reliable notifications through within a half-second. Good that I can let people in remotely.
Great video call app, works every time, no config required on my s10 (Android 12) video speed could be slightly faster, takes me about 3 second to load on 4G.
App update 2.0.20 I can receive calls 100% of the time my Xiaomi, seems to be very stable, previous version i had issue where i can ringing but no page to pick up. Good :)
Fantastic video Intercom solution. Reliable, scalable, secure and easy to use.
This app made my life much more easier. I can answer the door from wherever I am, I can check who is ringing at the door and many other things! 100% recommended!
In the past, this app only worked well only once in a while. However, this new app update works 100% of the time for me. Perfect 10! Good job guys!

Reliable IP intercom. I install these on apartments for my clients because they have no issues.
Horrible app/system, I can't believe my building went with this brand! Firstly the instructions on the hardware panel is not clear nor smart - you have to press any button to wake it up (but instructions doesn't say that) , and call won't go through unless you put in a zero for a single digit unit (e.g. 02 vs just 2). The App is the worst... About 50% of the time you press open and nothing happens, then the system tells you you've missed a call. I've missed many deliveries because of this!
New app update seems to works well on Android 12.
Followed all instructions stated in the FAQ, no issues receiving calls, but the app only pop-up a short notification, that's super easy to miss. Issues: 1. Allow option to set ringtone and app should ring like how other VOIP does. Currently it doesnt vibrate when set to vibration mode. 2. The app is still lagging a lot in speed. I did a trial personally and it took 5-10sec after I unlocked on the app for the system to unlock the door physically. While this is almost instant on voice calls.
Unreliable app. Even after mobile phone reconfiguration for android it's still very unstable. I would say it only works 20-30% of the time. All other times either the phone won't ring, the screen for video access won't launch or it won't call the lift even after access is given. Delivery personnel often times find that there is no connection and end up calling me on my mobile. Recently the Schonell staff came to my unit telling me they have done some fix-up. I can honestly say it became worse.
The app has an extremely poor user experience and crashes frequently. We have missed multiple deliveries. Despite configuring the app correctly. We have tested this on multiple devices. Support team still gave generic FAQ replies. No assurance from the development team or product team on the roadmap and plans to make improvements. Schonell is receiving my very first review (ever), and this has to be a 1 star review. For other condo committees or MA's evaluating their solution, please beware.
Thank you for the reply, however I already followed all the instructions and settings and of course allowed notifications too!!! Follow all instructions and access. But no call received. Have miss call showing in the apps, but never had call in my phone. Or there's phone call on my phone but there's no pop up from the apps, only sound. Very poor apps!!!
I stay in a condominium. After the old intercom system was changed to schonell app based intercom system, there have been problems after problems with respect to updates, interoperability, compatibility with different phones etc. Worse still, now the management agent(which is paid to resolve issues for residents)simply asks me to deal direct with schonell. Even worse still schonell support was horrible, simply telling me off that my phone cannot work with their system. Would-be adopter beware
Very bad experience with this app. My phone doesn't ring when someone call my unit number, i receive notifications 5 min after that i have missed call. I cannot understand how this kind of devices/application can be on the market. That is like nobody from the company tested the product... After configuration changes recommend below, app still not working. TO AVOID!!
Condo upgraded, works well. Functional and convinient now that i dont have to walk all the way to my handset to open the door. Some setting required on my tablet at the start. This may be challenging to non-tech savy users.
App does not work 8 out of 10 times.. I used to have to keep force stopping the app and restarting my handphone (Samsung S10+) in order for calls / notifications to come through, which is a hassle itself. However, since last week, no matter how many times I reinstall or restart my handphone, the calls will not come through. I will just receive a missed call as if I HAD the opportunity to miss the call
Perhaps, this application is specifically designed for video calls and am using it so i consider it best lightweight application than other. The interface is quite easy to use and allows video chat without facing network problems.
Before today, whenever my APP rings, it doesnt last very long and somehow theres no sound which makes it hard for me to realise someone is at the gate. The APP doesnt pop up as well. It will then go to my handphone where i can hear the person but there is no way i can open the gate then. NOW... its worse... the APP doesnt even open and it goes straight to my phone and i can't open the gate still. Can you please advice? Thank you. Btw i tried sending the above via the contact form but failed.
works well! but TAKE NOTE: App needs to be configured for it to work seamlessly. After I had done config, it works perfectly everytime on my Samsung s21! I highly recommend this system!
Very convenient app now I do not need to be at home to speak to visitors! Lovely app to make video calls , it works great. I liked also the interfaces . Good job
The app is very easy to use and it was easy to setup but the performance of the connection between device & phone app is slow sometimes. The phone app displays the image but it lags or is choppy. With the recent updates it seems to be working better.
