We have been using Flexibuzz & it is great except didn't have a pretty picture like yours does. Except it operates better. We have just spent $ as a school putting in your app & it doesn't notify me. I have to tap on it to get notifications but my notifications allowed tick is on in the app. Not recommending this app. Flexibuzz also remembers user data so you don't have to type in for absences every time & it sends an email so you have record. But Schoolappsnz doesn't. Kind of a pain.....

App is flakey. When our school issues notices they are not always readable, presenting as blank white rectangle. Can only be read after restarting app several times. Not fit for purpose of issuing urgent messaging like covid or school lockdown events as can't rely on app to function consistently. Using it for this purpose may be our school's error rather than the app developer's fault. Found the apps our kindergartens used much more user friendly.

This app is working well when you only use for one school. I have two kids in two different schools, both school use this app。I can only receive notifications from the schools currently logged in but not the other one. I don't know which school I should choose to stay logged in. It's worries me a lot. e.g. one of my children's schools had a power outage and informed parents to pick up their children early. But my login stayed at another school, so I missed the notification.

App was fantastic until latest update. Worked well for notifications and links to school sites. Now sends mutliple notifications (for same alert/ update), shows -ve # notifications in app icon. Links (view button) require mutiple attempts to open in browser. Often requires selecting school when opening from notifications or directly into app, with only one school conmected. Have uninstalled/ reinstalled. Looking at reviews this isn't an isolated issue.

what a crock. new version is so slow and clunky compared to the old platform. the ux is still bad, popups that stay behind, screens that appear or disappear just that moment too late. it always takes time to restart even if it is still in background. ugh.

Unfortunately this is a very basic and poorly written app. The interface design is at least 5 years behind, and the basic functionality is lacking e.g. if tou have multiple schools loaded and receive an alert for one other than the last school opened, it can't switch to the other school itself - just shows a blank alert and waits for you to change schools manually. A good idea but badly executed

Outdated UI, terrible UX. Can't retain student info, which requires all data to be entered for each absence, etc. Reloads if you switch to another app and then back - loosing all the info you may have entered on a form. School never received my absentee notice. All this experienced in first use.

Never get notifications, which kinda defeats the purpose of the app, I have checked in my phone settings to make sure they are not blocked , which they are not. Can't seem to find any notification settings in the actual app.

I can't update the app, even using the link provided in the other comments. I enter the 3 letters of the school and nothing happens. I've been getting constant notifications to update the app, but with no success.

Had 2 different apps for 2 different schools, but downloaded this upgrade as it said I could access both schools via the one app. Now all I can see is one school but can't access St Mary's College. I know St Mary's is a client. Not a good upgrade :-(

When I click on icon it shows loading but doesn't go through to school. I have uninstalled and then installed again but still not working. I have missed important covid 19 updates as I don't have Facebook so this is my only way of keeping up with school alerts

The user experience is awful. It crashes constantly, wont top up. Prevents you from actually being able to order. It's not got any better it's getting worse.

Update: Responsive support. Supplied a link for new install. All working now. Thanks --Used to work. Can't even open app now. Just twirls no matter how long you wait. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but no change. Using an S9.

I have tried to re-install this app mutiple times on my phone but cant get past the loading screen. It used to work at the beginning of the year, but then randomly stopped working. Please fix this issue!!

Support team was super helpful when my app crashed and had a fix for it very quickly. Useful app for keeping tabs on what's happening at school.

I don't think it's any better than the old platform. Only gave it 2 stars because I still have access to one school. The app won't let me link to the other school. Whenever I go to download when it says to...it does nothing???

I DON'T LIKE THIS APP EITHER, NEEDS FIXING... Agree with latest reviews... Download app, good at start, then went back in and blank screen, won't open up anything, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still same thing......

Notifications don't work. I have checked all the settings. Asked other users and they said they've had sporadic notifications in the past 5 years.

Hi, I have installed this app twice. It shows loading when opened but doesnt liad anything and screen stays blank. Please fix this problem. Thanks

It's a bit complicated at first but also I wish it included like the maps of the inside of the school like classroom numbers idk. It could be improved alot

Most of the alerts from our school do not show in my notifications. I would say at least half of them. So I have to remember to manually check the app. Many parents at our school are having the same problem.

Had this app installed on previously phone (apple) and it worked very well. Have changed phones to a samsung and now cannot get it to bring up my child's school. I have uninstalled a few times to try refresh but no luck. Is there an issue with your app?

Appears working fine, but now unable to access 'notices' Says "check internet connection". Tried reinstalling app. Still has same message.

Last year the app was excellent for letting us know what was going on at Orago Girls High School but this year it will not load the daily notices even though it has been updated to fix this!

Edited,I was having issues with the apo not loading, however since contacting via email I have it working now, super fast response and very helpful. Thank you so much.

Notifications didn't come through on my Samsung S9 and don't work on my new S20 either, despite checking all settings, reinstalling etc.

Sux. Ive installed, uninstalled 100 times and it does not load past the second screen. I dont recommend it at all and thats considering I've never actually seen any of it yet.. Hmm

Just too slow and takes forever to load haven't been able to open for atleast 10 days. And schools have stopped emailing so we are reliant on this app please fix asap :((

Can't get it to work on my phone, worked on my old phone ok can't even find my daughters school, tried uninstalling and reinstalling very frustrating.
