Such poor functionality (so many things from the web version that don't exist in the app), and I always get error messages too.
Latest version tells you you need to update! And don't allow you to access information. That app has never been stable And we are forced to use it by school Shameful
The Notice panel seems to have an auto-filter error. The headers of the latest notices/messages flash on-screen and are then filtered away. Limiting the types of messages seen is the only work around. Which means, I start at only seeing messages and work my way down the list to only seeing results. This is the only way to successfully see all notice types other than just not using the app.
You had a wonderful well-functioning app that had everything necessary. It functioned so much better than any other similar app I had used in other schools. And then for some reason you you destroyed it. There is no functionality left whatsoever! The new version is utmost disaster! Please go back to the previous version! Everything needs to be opened on a browser, information cannot be found. Non-intuitive cumbersome menus and tabs. Can't mark a 1-lesson absence.News and results do not appear.
Useless update!! Everything is just more complicated and harder to locate. If you update you will also be greeted with a terrible design that is just confusing. If you are lucky enough to still have the old version, immediately turn off auto update. That's my number one tip!! Now I'm uninstalling!! Rubbish app!!
they decided to sacrifice everything useful in the earlier versions to make it look more esthetically pleasing (which it sire does), but its not near worth it. The app is now a mess with embarrassing bad layout and the schedule page is such downgrad, I seriously cant even grasp what they where thinking. please if possible revert to the old design this version is making so many people lifes alot harder, and bassicly forces on to use the web page.
After the last update (yesterday) it doesn't want to start. It's saying I need to update.

Hilariously bad... Login doesn't work properly thanks to embedded website, pages don't load, pictures get downloaded instead of shown in the app, notes show in the list and just give an error when trying to open them... Please remove this pile of poop from the play store and just ask people to visit the website instead....
new version is obviously tailored to iPhone. Calendar is horrible with poor scrolling and no resetting to today's date. news cannot be marked read/unread and most info now needs to be viewed in the browser. most content now gone from the app. what was the purpose of this update if it just rewinds the clock umpteen years?
Please pardon my language, but I absolutely hate the new update! Schoolsoft used to work fine, and I could access basic information and notifications with ease. Now, I have to open everything in browser to at all see which grade I got. PLEASE SWITCH BACK TO THE ORIGINAL APP. No matter how hard I try to get used to the new update, I can't. It's just so bad.
The new update has removed all useable functions, you have to click on each child separately, there is no news feed, and grades and curriculum has disappeared. I don't use the app to only see the kids schedule and report absences, I want to be able to see results and reports, and have a general overview. What's the point of the app if I need to use the web browser to get the information I need?
Extremely bad user experience. The only reason to have this app on your phone is to be able to report your child absence and skim through notifications, that's it, also because the app can't do more. For everything else there is a link to the schoolsoft website. It's such a lazy service implementation I don't even have words for it....
In conclusion, the app doesn't work. The layout could have been useful if it worked, but as of this moment it takes minutes just to open and load the first page. The old app worked alright, but the "new" version is simply an awful version
Login never works the first time, you are sent to the web login page after completing BankID sign-in in the app. Only after backing through a few error messages you will get the "Login successfull :)" message and can check messages. I don't receive notifications anymore either.
This app should contain most of if not all the options as the web version, unfortunately it does not. If your child is sick for instance most schools require the parents to write a comment describing how or what type of illness and when do you expect that your child will be back. Sadly the app version does not allow you to do this...for that you have to login on a computer, thusly negating the need or use of the app.
If your school uses Schoolsoft, move to another school. This app (and the web interface) is pure garbage. The app doesn't work at all and the web interface looks and works like something from the 90s.
The old version was better. I don't like how you see your schedule as a calender and it would be better if it was just like the webversion. As of now, I can not even see my coming up lessons in my calendar.
The app is so bad. It does not even deserve one star. It is missing basic functions or not working at all. How difficult can it be to fix this piece of s..t. Worst is we parents are forced to use it. I wonder if this company is paid. If I was the decision taker I would close the deal. Respect the users!
Nothing works as expected! Absolutely nothing! You get logged out over and over again, and that is the a good thing... the way this app has been developed must be based on the notion on how many bugs you can join together and call an app without being sued in court!
Bankid login gets stuck after one performs the login in the bankid app - the redirect back never happens and I'm stuck on a blank page. Please implement what many other apps does, to trigger the bankid app automatically!
Latest version crashes constantly at login. Previous versions lacked a lot of browser functionalities and left a lot to bw desired.
Unable to log on. No error code no help. Just all in all poor app. Just as poor as their website. Cant believe they can still operate like this.
The features are very limited and most information can only be viewed from the website, which is not optimized for mobile phones. A great improvement would be to make everything that is accessible from the website, also accessible from the app.
Horrible interface. Doesn't work half the time. Hate that my kids' preschool is using it, so i HAVE to use this piece of junk...
Useful information is buried deep in a messy website while pointless, internal information is front and center. No user perspective at all.
Seriously this application is trash, the layout of the information can't be more messy, so boring, missing a lot of functions such as attach a document ( i couldn't do it that means it's no easy access)
