Love the bank. Unfortunately mobile deposits are not working. Keep getting error that CS can't read numbers at the bottom of the check. It couldn't be clearer. The images are perfect but after 10 attempts I gave up. Considering that this the only method to deposit a paper check (branches are investments only no banking transactions. it's frustrating. If I deposited checks more often I'd definitely have to change accounts.

I love everything about Schwab EXCEPT their mobile app. Everything is so slow. Glad they fixed the biometrics issue at least, but then they added Zelle, which I was happy about until I used it! It's so bad. Loading phone contacts doesn't work at all, and the contacts within Zelle don't load half the time. Then when I want to make a request it's unbearably slow as well and I often have to restart the app. Terrible UI too. Real jealous of my partner's BoA app which has it built into the bank UI.

App is slow, especially when trading. Does not have a lot of features found on desktop like viewing/setting alerts for certain stocks or viewing custom charts. Also, I would like to be able to see time weighted return for my accounts, but I can only see unrealized gain and change in total account value.

Terrible. Viciously horrible design. It doesn't even update the page you're on. You have to constantly manually update by scrolling down. If you happen to be watching a stock and it's on the bottom of your list - scroll down to update, scroll up to look at the price... over and over and over. One may ask, why not just put the stock you're watching on top... because they don't allow you to organize. You get alphabetical order and that's it. Nearly useless.

Ui redesign is terrible. Button text wraps, and all white with no definition. (Is it missing a style sheet?) Charts are useless if there's no x/y axis that shows what that lines value is. Charts should clearly depict information. For petes sake.. Important Notifications... that banner is there 300 out of 365 days a year. They don't go away when they've been read. I can't dismiss them. It's the boy who cried wolf... if the banner is always there, then it ceases to be important. Reported for 2+yr

Haven't been able to swipe across my portfolio in months. So many clunky features in selling options and looking at positions. please review this stuff. It's a shame considering how great CS customer support has been. This app is from 2008 and it is impossible to conduct due diligence or even look at a chart. I use every and any other resource possible. Updating this to 1 star. It's not usable.

Not able to set alerts through the app? Really? Pretty basic "feature" that I'd think would be more of a standard. No dark mode, but I'll take function over fashion in this review for now. Also, the Android widget is inconsistent/unstable and not really adding value in it's current state. Desperately needs an enhancement, if not a rebuild. The login ease is nice, and fractional share trading is pretty awesome setup once you learn how to use the tool. Hoping for fixes above to make app better.

Updated: I just have the feeling that they don't have good tech people working there with all the bugs. On a high volume trading day it is not reliable. Also a lot of times it says I have funds available for investment, but it doesn't let me buy anything. I like having the no fee atm, but Etrade is probably the best of the bunch. Update for 4/2/2022--Yes of course I still always have technical problems with them.

Inconsistent. It's almost impossible to satisfy the auto capture application for depositing checks in any light on any surface. This app used to be decent, but it seems to have gotten worse. Constantly logged out as well

App works beautifully and love the banking and investor features. My one main problem though is, when looking at option contracts I would love to see the Implied volitality number. It only shows that number on web and not on mobile. for someone on the go, I wish to see full info of my contract.

Like their website, the app now repeatedly has a drop down menu that expands each time I touch any part inside the app. The previous issues weren't as bad, now it's impossible to use the app.

Secure app with all of the tools, and some features, to suit all of your trading and investing needs. A few features I think would be cool if implemented, is realtime chart activity and currency movement, extended trading hours, premarket and after hours activity on display. And maybe uncompromisable screenshot capability. If I were to deduct 2 stars, it would because of a static app.

Crashing in the middle of transferring $$$ This is one of the most frustrating experiences. Trying to link my Inv Checking account with an External bank account in order to make a transfer and right at the very last step. 3 TIMES now mind you, the app stops. I can't understand how a multi-million dollar corporation can't get a working app for its customers! This isn't FACEBOOK. We are talking financials here!!!! Fix it!!!!!

Most recent update has closed accounts showing up on the summary screen. When looking at the detail, they show balances for completely different accounts. The UI of the app has also gotten worse and less user friendly over time.

This is possiblely the worst digital product I've ever used. The UX requires far too much back and forth to get to the information I need and hangs whenever I attempt to refresh the screen. Every time I open it, I'm met w/ a super annoying alert that some of my accounts are "missing historical information" with absolutely no guidance to resolve it. It's such a sadness that Schwab would put out such a broken and poorly designed app.

Traveling to Europe? Using a local SIM for service? Expect to call Schwab in USA every time you login, since even after Customer Service updates your number to your Italian number, it's not offered as a way to get an SMS to complete the login. Huge frustration. And only call during US business hours or Schwab puts you on long holds and then drops you on hold. Cannot edit cell number to put in a '+' for country code. USA centric!

I absolutely hate this app. It doesn't do great with passwords it jumps all over the place. They don't communicate at all which is key, and as of recent multiple password resets have gone unresponded.

Very slow with or without WiFi! It's very frustrating when trying to place trades. Please fix this. Your Smart Smart mobile is much faster but limited in some areas this app can cover.

A brokerage app should be useful for reliably entering trades for execution. All too often what happens with this app is that it lags each time you enter data into a field and then all that entered data gets cleared when you click the "Review Order" button and you have to start over with entering your order just to have the same thing happen again. I often end up needing to use the website because the app won't successfully take my orders. Also, there is no stock screener functionality yet.

Absolute trash, multiple and regular crashes on Samsung Galaxy. If the developers can not create a reliable interface with such a common device, why should they be trusted with account security, never functioned. Uninstalled.

The biometrics have been fixed but the app has gotten much more harder to navigate. Swipes inbetween tabs has gotten really hard. Also other brokerages and banks have much nicer UXs. Schwab needs a total redesign at this point, it looks extremely outdated compared to others now.

My review was deleted (again)? Interesting. I can copy and repaste it. I had to do it several times now. People have to know. Support hung up on me? Not surprised. I will be changing brokers. This app will not let me log in and they don't care. The app is literally broken, can't be used. They can't even get the log in page to work.

Can't log in thanks to this newest security update. Won't let me log in because it's "having trouble connecting to Google Play services". I don't have any desire to connect the two to begin with. I was fine with a password and biometrics, if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

More stable lately, most of the time, but sometimes slow. It's very frustrating to have to manually refresh to get fresh data. Certain features don't work as they should i.e. ability to filter history. (Found that if you have multiple accounts if you switch to another and back the history filter will work) They removed feedback so you can no longer report app bugs within the app.

UPDATE - NO LONGER can swipe screen to screen & Gains/Losses is a MESS - W INCORRECT # OF HOLDINGS for some stocks, totaling INCORRECT BALANCES! COME ON GUYS & get this app working as it should be! ********* WHAT IS GOING ON w this app? NOW it seems every time I go to log in (usually my bio/fingerprint, but even remembered usernm/passwd) it's acting as though it's reset & asks that I type in my login info - which totally DEFEATS THE PURPOSE of the app!!!?!!! The new, built-in Zelle functionality is terrible!!! Can't stress that enough! I can't register my email (only phone works). Can't setup reoccurring payments! Can't view transactions online on Schwab's website!

Does not let me log in. I enter all my credentials and it gives me an error message about a feature being down. I have tried using just password and biometrics and neither work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.
