Good relaxing true tower defense. With plenty of strategy and kickin graphics. Also adding the pause button allows time to strategies upgrades. Instead of tapping my fingers off. Over all, it's a well put together game. Only reason i could not give it 5 stars. Is due to the fact that I could only find one way to perfect each level so far. But even so, thanks for an awesome tower defense game.
Not a Pay to Win Game!! If you can't progress without paying, you just don't understand the game. Ignore the ads, wait 30 seconds, and get the cash you need to upgrade. I suggest you play the normal mode on all levels, use your cash to upgrade until you're stuck. Then go back to level 1 and play hard mode until you're stuck. This gives you enough money to upgrade towers and continue to progress on normal. Rinse and repeat. You must strive for 3 stars on each level. Great game! Story is silly...
Fantastic game. I've tried a lot of TD games and this one has me addicted. It can get hard at times but persistent will pay off, It took me about 2 weeks to get past one level but I was always looking forward to trying something else next time. A manual or help would be useful, it is hard to work out what the different modules do, the descriptions are vague.
It's a fun tower defence game, albeit pretty hard. I came across a game breaking bug though-when I tap the screen to start some levels, it zooms in just slightly and then doesn't let me scroll to the buttom parts of the map where I need to place towers. Most maps work fine fine when it does it but I'm on level 38 and it's impossible to pass. I don't know if this game gets updated anymore but I'm hoping it does to fix this, I was really enjoying it.
This is a fun tower defense game. Or it is until you realise as soon as about level 4 that you're going to have to play each successive level an exponentially increasing number of times before you can progress one step in the game. And even this degree of progress is achieved by choosing to watch ads. Turns an enjoyable game into mind numbing tedium unless you're willing to shell out exponentially increasing streams of hard cash for every small bit of progress. Avoid unless you are very rich.
Very well made, complicated 'role' playing strategy combined with a tower defense game. No annoying Pop-up ads, FTP is difficult but not impossible. Excellent Graphics, Gameplay, Storyline and User Interface. It is typically grindy for this genre, but not excessively in my opinion. There is a very steep learning curve, for how the modules interact with each other and the different types of enemies, but I see that as a plus for re-playability.
Difficult, but not impossible. I'm really enjoying it. Minor nags lost it a star. There are 3 currencies, but you have no means of seeing the red one (so no idea how much you have) , and nothing tells you that the battlefields can be scrolled, which would help. There's also no counter for waves, so you need to pause between waves to build, and no time given on how long it takes sold towers to disappear (which is waaaaaay too long) I know it may seem otherwise, but I really like it.
Really fun but its pay to win. The game itself is good witb rpg elements for your towers with good map designs. However, the difficulty get insanely tougher with each level and you are not rewarded enough crystals to upgrade your towers which leads you to having to watch ads for crystals, replaying old maps(which gives you less crystals than an ad), or worse having to dish out some cash. I shouldn't have to pay to play and pay to win.
It was fun for the first level, but after that the difficulty skyrockets. I can't make it past level 4. It's such a pay to win game, and td games shouldn't be ptw. The story doesn't really make sense, the English is a bit broken, and there are glitches. I finished level 2, went to level 3, and all my towers disappeared until I uninstalled/reinstalled, which would've wiped my purchases. Would recommend another td game.
Challenging & Addicting TIPS: (1) Go to Workshop, hit circle for elements & honey combs for boosts. Slide right and hit X to remove. (2) Energy Stealer w/ Tesla and Guass Towers a gamechanger PROS: (1) Challenging enough & addicting. When all other games fail, you realize this game still fun. CONS: (1) Grindy, wait for ads for energy points. Buying a waste (2) Unnecessary cursing in storyline (3) One soundtrack that loops (4) No tutorial. Played wrong for entire season.
I enjoyed this game for the first 30 levels or so. Eventually it just gets to the point where there are hundreds and hundreds of enemies on the screen at once, your towers are ineffective (and yes, I have good module combinations, all at level 5, while upgrading the "tower basis" as fast as I can), and the phone slows to a crawl. Then you just spend wave after wave watching things jerk around and flash on the screen. I guess I've reached the point where if I don't spend a lot of $$$ I'm done.
Overall the game is good. The mechanics are clean, the graphics are good, the responsiveness is decent, the content is what you would expect of a typical tower defense. The downside is the eventuality of forced MTX. You get to a certain point in the game where it is damn near unbeatable and begins to feel like a waste of time. Progression is stunted by the extreme difficulty escalation early on. Just another throw-away app at the end of the day. Had fun, but I refuse to contribute to a p2w game.
Very diverse options! There's tons of different power ups to attach to different towers, the options are endless. It's pretty hard and the towers are very dumb. For example, I make the monster at the front go backwards but my tower isn't targeting the new monster at the front of the line. The information could be better though; for example, how can I read about the shields or armor and their weakness? Which towers are energy and what other types of damage are there? Very good potential.
Stuck at level 4. A lot of emphasis is put on weak storyline, meanwhile the tutorial is nearly nonexistent. New tower modules show up without explanation. Enemy types are unclear and confusing. No hints are given on what towers work best in different situations. This game is frustrating and not fun to play unless you built it. I keep losing and I don't even know why, or what to do differently.
The Good: I have to say this is one of the most promising TD games I have played. I love the unique Module system added to allow customer towers to suit one's play style. I thoroughly enjoy the way monetization is approached with this game. First and most commonly the ability to buy credits outright is standard fare for micro-transactions and if the developer ever implements a cloud based syncing of purchases I would seriously consider spending a few dollars to get the few extra credits I need to complete this upgrade or that. However, the true genius is with the add placement! I never thought I would be voluntarily watch an add, much less be excited about it! Adds are given as an option to watch or not. If you do you are rewarded with a few credits you can use to update your towers. This is brilliant and I have watched more adds in the week playing this game than I EVER have with any other game. The Bad: A few bugs have made several levels unplayable and thus leading to an uninstall. This of course means if I want to play again to see if the bug has been resolved I have to start over. As cloud storage is mentioned above, this will likely disincentivize me to even start.
You do not need to pay to win. But, you must learn how to use the different boost for each type of tower. The biggest draw back is that key knowledge is given just once and no way to review it. If you buy the wrong modules, you will have to remove app and try from the beginning. I am on level 67 and i really don't want to start again but i might need to so I can get the correct modules without spending real money.
kinda buggy. I haven't bought a thing on this app, I actually can't even figure out how to lol. If I click on sale, nothing happens. I can't find where the store is, not that I need it. I'm up to level 76/80, 3*s on all of them including hard mode. You have to play several levels several times to get credits, and the infinite level is helpful in the beginning. But now when I play the infinite level, I can't finish it. I always have to quit now which means no reward as the waves just keep coming
It's fun if you like this sort of thing and I've particularly enjoyed the levels where you can influence the route the enemies take as it adds another layer of strategy. The makers claim the game definitely isn't pay to win, and while it's possible to get through the game without paying, the amount of grinding you have to do is utterly insane. And if you don't want to watch any ads, you can double that again. Good game though and pretty satisfying.
Great game, but I upgraded to the Galaxy S21 and it no longer works :(. Happy to change to 5 starts when it starts working again. 3-9-21 Update: game works on the new phone, which is great. However, I had to completely start over - none of my progress was saved. I don't actually mind replaying it, but I've spent money in the game and I'm pretty pissed that what I've spent is gone now. Down to 2 stars because of that.
Great game for a while. After a while, the gameplay becomes impossible - the upgrade requirements are ridiculous and it's clear that its intentionally done as pay to play after a certain point. I would rather pay a small price up front for the game then be force to keep spending in game just to progress.
Literally the best tower defense game you can find on the play store right now. If you have a hard time in this game and find yourself having to pay for anything, consider a different playstyle or strategy. The levels vary in difficulty, and some of them are outright hard, but every level is accomplishable. If you have knowledge of how to design a good maze or make a good chokepoint (WHICH IS A FEATURE I LOVE IN THIS GAME) then you will go far in this game.
Gonna have to try better guys. the first set of levels were great but then ramped up so much in difficulty it was insane. my s7 edge going red hot, with the screen filled with maxed out towers all firing at a stream of enemies and slowing my phone down. it couldn't cope with the amount going on screen, still with 10 waves to go you get defeated by enemies that don't seem to be affected by the entire screen firing in glitchy painful slow motion at them. I was literally fearing for my phone!!
Good game over all. But I can't stand the fact that you can not zoom in or out at all. This is even more frustrating further down the line when some of the maps are so big. Enemies start teleporting, literally have to fail on purpose a few time just to know where to place towers. Just add a zoom function please!
Great TD game (currently on lvl 54). Some levels are very difficult, and require strategy to beat. I sometimes watch ads, but never needed to pay. If you're having trouble with a level, Energy Siphon combined with Greed usually helps. Explanations are poorly translated. The most important thing to know is modules aren't active until the tower is upgraded enough - tower lvl 2 activates the first module, 4 activates the second module, etc. I wish the game showed which portals are connected.
Down a star because progress is lost when changing phones. It's a little unclear how some of the modules work before you buy them, and sometimes even after (does "steal energy" mean siphon of enemy shields? Can't tell that it works like that, though...) But it's a good, challenging tower defense game all the same.
This game is pretty fun. The devs did a great job on the graphics, the level designs, the sci fi aesthetic, and the upgrade system. It can be frustratingly challenging, but also rewarding when you finally beat a tough level. The only thing that's lacking is a better description of the powerups (English not their first language, but they usually try).
