Buggy, bad interface, sign in and subscription buttons do nothing. No option to access settings of any kind? Really? No way to sign out of accounts? Come on. You can do better. At the very least the app should *attempt* to retrieve the subscription and membership information when the user logs in. Currently I see no evidence it does anything at all.
The world's most influential and most detailed Highbrow General Science periodical deserves much better than this slow and fiddly and hard-to-use app. Yes, it does display the magazine OK, but it is an exercize in sheer frustration to use this app.....the paper (physical) edition of this weekly magazine is infinitely preferable.
Even though you have to download each issue, twice if you want to view in page mode, you still need to have an internet connection to view the issue. Not very practical if you want to read an issue or two on a long flight.
I decided to switch from print to electronic subscription and thought I would see if there was an app. I've installed it on my Google pixel 2 and I can't even open the software.
This app should be removed from the store until it's gone through development by an actual developer. Crashes just trying to enter your email address, meaning the app never actually opens.
The app crashes each time I try to log in. Based on reviews this appears to be a widespread issue. Entirely useless in its current state.
This app is a travesty, and the irony level is really over the top. An app from an organization that promotes science that will just plain not run with Android pie? Really?

Worst app ever used!
this apps is extremely frustrating. it too often fails to load articles and dumps the user back to the entry point. it does not work off line. it has no ability to zoom in on images. the app seems to be stalled on the same old weak version. the web site has much better usability but fails for refusing to remember authenticated identity for any length of time. the one positive of the app.
