30+yr subscriber to print SN. The app is ok because its readable in the dark. But print is easier to share, I drop off old mags at Drs' waiting rooms. Both have annoying ads. Online its easier to search their site archive. App is pretty good but sure not pretty, not cancelling print just yet.
This app has all the basics to be really great, but functions and layout is stuck kinda in beta mode. It should be easier to share articles without being limited to the app. Less is more here and people don't leave you only because they shared an article without you plastering your app all over the receiver's and sender's screen. The layout is also quite ancient. In summary, give it a loving non proprietary update and it's perfect!
This app has the latest and up to date articles in the field of science. I only gave it four stars because this app is no better than one other app I use.

So many adverts that they get in way of reading articles. Don't see a way to turn them off. There are too many good science article apps to waste time on this one.

The content is great and I can't complain about the interface; but lately it's been continuously asking me to rate it (even though I already did) and throwing out pop up adds like candy, which is beginning to get irritating. Originally I gave it a rating of 5, but now I'm obliging it's incessant request to re-rate. Dropping down to a 3 for irritation factor
So far, I can not get it, the app, to completely function and and can not find any menu or directions. Two stars at this moment is one too many. I'll try one last time and if there is no change, I'm uninstalling it. Too bad 'cause I like science.
Because of its small size while it could give me latest science news which i think would deliver more or less just the same materials as what other bloated apps does. I actually also like the logo.
General science news feed. Short articles, not much depth. Can't turn off notifications. Annoying App suggestions.
It's so good in most aspects but when you are reading full article it move too hard to right and lefr of screen
Browser is terrible, lacks basic. controls, hard to read on a smartphone. Unable to easily share content. Content is good when it works.

4 stars b/c I get notifications for same content multiple times. Great science info with lots of variety.
Looks interesting and thorough but there is no way to zoom in on micro font articles (on 1080×1920 S5 screen) that cannot be read without a microscope. On a tablet I'd give it 3.5 stars
Can't get more than a sentence on each item without a paid subscription. Maybe this app is ok for those with a subscription but otherwise it's nothing but a teaser.
