It has been a big downturn since the last update, the loading of one page is really bad, and also there's no small page display at the bottom, so it's difficult when looking for pages that have been read. I have a premium subscription for almost 2 years, and waiting 6 months later there is still no change. This month is the last subscription 😧😧😧
I wish the app has features like highlighting certain sentences, infinite scroll reading option, and categorizing books in my collection. I wish it also has the option between thumbnail/grid or list view, then search book feature for the my collection section, because it became a hassle to search and scroll down far far below to search when I have more books. The collection of the books is good so far, I can download various genre of books whenever I like.
Thank you for developing this fine app :) the lease feature is very helpful though. However, some books published by Gramedia are not listed, I hope more books can be added to the database so I can get a series at once. Regardless, I have a problem while downloading books. Clearly when the percent bar is almost done (like 99%) and it gets stuck for so long then I can't stop/cancel the process. Sometimes I've to redownload my wish book after I turned off my data network. The 2nd try usually works
Purchased Kuasa Ramalan by Peter Carey for IDR 263k. Paid using Google Pay. Payment succesfully deducted from my account. But book is not appear on My Collection section. Considering previous reviews, this probem need to be solved ASAP. To whom thinking to install this app, be carefull with your purchase!!!!
My collection suddenly disappear. And now they have new terms that most of asianlit is unable to download anymore. Such a pain. Been a subscriber since 2020 but it's time to bid farewell i guess.
Please fix the bug. I've upgraded to the latest version but still encounter problems. Epub books most of the time laggy, the pages aren't loaded correctly, I have to close the app several times to make it work properly. Please make the books back into PDFs. They're easier to load and rarely get into trouble. I also can't delete book from "device" shelf after reading, the app closes itself and say "not responding" I'm using vivo 1919
very disappointing app. keeps on crashing for over 1 year. every update is the same, keeps on crashing. already complained by email and the response is the same, no issue on their end. very very disappointing! on tablet also crashed, on both of my phones also crashed.
Bad experience. Very bad customer service. I've been charged for the last 3 months and couldn't even log in to the app. Whenever i asked the customer service to refund my money or at least cancel my subscription. They are repeating same non resolutive line. Please do something.
I cannot make purchases with the app. When I click on Buy, nothing happens! Very frustrating. I also cannot see how to set up a payment method in the app. In my account page it just says No Card Saved, without any way to add a card. I was hoping to use Google Pay but I can't find a way to do this either. Disappointing.
Lack of common feature such as: add to cart and advanced search feature (including searching your own collection). Paying 1 by 1 is troublesome. Without search feature in your growing collections, I could imagine it'll be a nightmare to search one book. Please consider adding them. Thanks.
Total disappointment after the latest update. The app keeps crashing and shows "Gramedia Digital has stopped working". My app is already version 5.5.0 and I already uninstalled and reinstalled for several times, but the problem persists. Please FIX THIS PROBLEM! Gramedia is a big company, but the problem solving is utter rubbish. I believe this company already know the problem from some reviews, but it ignores the issue. Note: I install this app in my Redmi 5A.
Please add cart to this app, it's tiring to buy every single one of title I want to buy, not to mention if it's multiple volume. I also would like if there's more title of rare books and manga which no longer in production and fans have hard time finding it or sold with poor condition and ridiculous price.
Why does one book I've downloaded, suddenly dissappeare from my collection list? I've even downloaded the particular book for more than 5 times now, read it a view pages, close the app, then it just gone. And now I have to download it again, it's so frustrating. Would the Gramdig team explain to me what's wrong?
Already subscribed for 1 year when there was promotion day on 29th August 2021, before my monthly subscription ended. But when my monthly subscription ended i cannot access the premium, even clearly mention on the account i still have 1 year subscription until 29 August 2022. Frustrating try to contact customer WhatsApp service but useless, no follow-up after few hours.
Somehow could not find any improvement in this apps for the last years. Only asking to send and send email in every template of answers. Can your team just try to add anything without being asked? Adding to wishlist. Favorite. Reading the habit of users, so that the usual newspapers can show on top. If u breath ur own products, u can see what u need. But somehow, none of ur employees seems to love the company. So sad.
I loved reading in this app because the subscription is relatively cheap. But please, fix the bug! It's continuously crashed and the customer service helped nothing with it.

Yesterday I bought ebook and it cost me 2,29€ to pay it over Paypal. Today I discovered that I can buy the same book for 1,21€ in google play book, with more free read sample and more features such as, download, copy paste, highlight, translate. I also has chance to read the ebook from google play on my kindle. Gramedia digital is a nice app, it has clear front end. However it has to improve a lot to be able to compete with other ebook provider.
Another bad review on this app. I am a premium plan subscriber. Whenever I chose Store, the app closed or move to background. Very annoying. And don't ask me to email you guys, you know the problem now. Fix it! Why should I email to the CS while nothing is fixed?
It doesn't work on my android. I downloaded this app because I have paid for premium service. Now, this apps just wasted my money and is definitely useless on my phone. At least, the ui and ux team build the e-reader website version please since there have been number of negative reviews here about the apps. Thank you.
Need immediate improvements and new features, too many issues, worse reading experience. Currently I have 1 year full premium package, hopefully app issues solved in short time.
I used to love my experience with Gramedia Digital, but no more. I purchased book but I can't download them. None of the contents available in my "cloud" can be downloaded to my device. I don't even know if I can get a refund. There's no option available on apps to ask for help.
2 weeks ago, i bought a book using this app in Gramedia World BSD, then i paid it. When I tried to download, idk why the file did not appear and i couldn't read. The CS there said maybe my signal. But when i waited for one day, there was failed. I dissapointed. I tried to contact CS by whatsapp but it didn't help me. So i decided uninstall this app. It was my worst experience using and buying digital book here.
