ScorchCAD
ScorchCAD aims to provide the same functions as OpenSCAD but it does not use the same source code. Most of the basic features are currently working. Additional features will be supported in future updates.
Features currently supported (fully or partially):
- 3D Shapes: cube, cylinder, sphere, polyhedron
- 2D Shapes: square, circle, polygon
- Transformations: translate, rotate, scale, resize, mirror, multmatrix, hull, color
- Boolean Operations: union, difference and intersection
- Functions: norm, cross, lookup, str, , version, version_num and mathematical functions
- Other: echo, for, intersection_for, if, assign, projection, surface
- File Import: DXF and STL (ASCII and binary)
- User defined variables and special variables : $fa, $fs and $fn
- User defined functions and Math functions
- Modifier character

* Help make ScorchCAD better ***If ScorchCAD crashes during a model build please e-mail the *.scad file that resulted in a crash. I get crash reports from Google Play but it is difficult to troubleshoot without the code that caused the crash.

I am so happy this app exists. OpenSCAD looks daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, you quickly begin to realize it's potential. Having an android clone is a dream come true. For quick modelling and concept work, this app is excellent.
💀DEAD💀 no updates since 2016, sad there is no more interest in developing this, 💥crashes a lot, 'if() else' does not work, some file editing issues, best to edit somewhere else & copy/paste, EXAMPLES need work 10/21 fail; hit limit of app drawing Truncated Icosahedron, 90 edges, had to make 4 STL to assemble
Sadly doesn't work with any recent Android version, as it fails to see any folders on the file system, making opening and saving impossible.
This is super useful to get an idea made when waiting for things. I am running into issues were when I open a file and click save it saves over the last project I had instead of its own file. (I am using samsung dex so who knows)
At first looks just like regular OpenSCAD, but fails to render some source codes with polyhedrons (compilation goes forever). This renders the whole app unusable for my workflow. Yet seems to work fine with simple bodies (sphere, cylinder, cube...)
Great to be able to model on mobile, but unfortunately this app doesn't execute OpenScad code properly. On the first design I tried it wouldn't execute booleans properly. Then I ran the same code on OpenScad. On there it looked how it was supposed to.
Excellent CAD app. It loses one star though just because the code editor and console don't have a dark mode even though the main menu does.
Tried it for a half hour. On my OnePlus 7 pro, it would delete my code every time I pressed the save button. I decided to instead use UserLand to run the real OpenSCAD in Debian.
works well, better documentation would be appreciated (in-app as the demos) and a way to increase "resolution"

Great start, I hope they will bring it up to 2022 OpenSCAD command set. Commands like minkowski don't work.

Dev, please update. i would recommend: (1) ability to pull files from thingiverse (and other sites) and (2) ability to edit in google docs old review: Once you get past a few lines, copy and paste get problematic, keyboard covers editing area. I've resorted to editing elsewhere and pasting to Scorch. Otherwise very good- can't wait for the improvements. How do I pay?
Only the demos work. When you try to add in code and hit compile nothing loads, errors, and the console just shows x, y, z 0.0000
Awesome app! Being able to parametrically create 3D models on Android so painlessly really makes this a must have maker and engineering app :-)
Not use friendly. In app examples consist of square & circle. No complex 3 or more shapes / colours. Deleting to replace with something more usable.
Seems good at first. However the editor is very poor, but most of all it just doesn't work. The renderer is very buggy and models come out wrong. A shame.
It's a nice app. It can be used to design draft ideas. Unfortunately, some functionalities are missing (such as minkowski and children). I can't use it to work on real projects.
It's free. No ads. Does even render complex stuff. Speed for rendering is really nice. Editor is very basic, but overall experience is just nice. Thanks for this good work.
I really hope this is not abandoned as it is a fantastic program. It is however missing lots of commands that are in openscad and in need of optimization.
User interface is clunky at best... highly non-intuitive, especially the editor (ugh, bleah, yuck). Doesn't have openscad features introduced over a year ago (i.e. offset).

Each update more impressive than the last. Like what it does, but… any further improvements coming?
Very quick and easy to load SCAD files. However, when i load a file that has more than one piece to it unconnected, i wait for as long as 3 minutes and it doesnt compile. And yet it only takes 3 seconds to compile a file with a single piece to the model. Otherwise, very good app!
