Score Creator: write music, compose sheet music.

This app is pretty good. I can easily insert notes and rests just by pressing buttons. 2 things bothers me, 1). Whenever I try to play the speed is not consistent, tempo is very important in music. 2). I just realized that you need to buy the full version to be able to export 20+ measures!!!!! That's literally the most important thing, I hate this app now.

This is the best score creator. I can compose songs just watch in youtube, I transfer it into sheet music, and I just play it to hear it. So, this app easy to use. I have request, the accidentals didn't affect the second note in tie, example, the 1st note was f# then the 2nd note also f# although there is no accidentals. I will add another 1 star if you fix it. Thank you!

I really like this one. (though it takes a little time to input articulations and various other things.) The UI is very similar to others, but this is more intuitive. (as you can press the key and boom.) the tutorial guide is helpful. the loss of the star is the fact of going back and fixing a few notes like changing from half note to full note. (it would be nice to not have all the notes be shifted over. instead replace all the ones it would replace. i do this for the basso continuo.)

If there is a 0 star option, I will choose that. This app is literally a trash it says this app can save a song automatically but the reality it's not. The app is just lying and there is no save button>:(there is so many stupid ads too:(

Really capable. Unfortunately there's some things missing from this that would be needed to provide a proper notation experience. What this really needs is the ability to use swing rhythms, the current method of using triple eighths in place of proper swing eigths isn't very intuitive. There's also the problem that this app only has one-note tremolos, and no two note tremolos. A bit weird?

The app runs really smooth, but it's really confusing for me just to figure out how to set up a page with my chosen instruments

Hello we need to have the option of deleting 3 or 6 or other numbers under the halves as it doesn't put together notes on drums as we do, and would be nice if we could choose what part of the drum it is.

The app has improved. Please let it work across several devices; so that a song created by one device can be played and edited by another device seamlessly. There should be cloud storage. Most problems come when you buy the full version of the app. If it can stop disabling my songs I can give it five stars. For now it's two stars because it has improved. Make frequent updates to stabilize it. It used to be a good app. The app grows poorer and poorer as time goes.

I can't play back or send anything without paying for it. If you are a beginer and just expirimenting just screw it.

I am a frequent user of this app and have loved it for a while now. But for some reason after the new update everything is stuck in "Corrective Mode" and the other option is completely gone. This makes everything sound rickety and not smooth. Along with that, I tend to compose for a choir, so SATB, and for some reason the Tenor voice is now in the female register and I cannot fix it. I would love to know if these issues are possible to fix, thank you.

This is a good basic free app and we picked it up quickly. However we have not managed to add lyrics successfully. The are easy to put in, but once we have enterered "done" and go back to the song later, they are all over the place. However it did say that app may not be optimised for my device )Samsung S6, so this may be the reason,

Great app for people who want to start writing music. Has a playback feature that is useful, but not perfect. Has a big variety of instruments and most evsrything you need to conpose music. It is a little limited (only 10 songs, 40 measures each) unless you buy the full version. My main problem with it is that the dynamics and tempo cannot change gradually. Crecendos, Decrecendos, ritardandos, and even Fermatas aren't quite existant. Nevertheless, I recommend this app to any user.

I wrote a few pages, saved it, and returned a while later. All of my music had switched instruments. So the part for viola went to harp, the part for guitar to cello, and vice versa. I finally switched everything back and it did it again. Other than that, it's probably one of the better composition apps, but it was too annoying for me so I uninstalled it.

I really like it and I use it all the time but I was wondering how come the dynamics don't work? Whenever I try to add Dynamics the volune doesn't change or get louder or quieter and also the accent marks and legatos and stegatos don't work either. Maybe there is something I'm not doing or maybe youcan make then work. Other than that, I really like this app.

All the other music creators I have used just had a bunch of pre-recorded sets but this one is note by note, making it possible for me to actually create music for my non-existent games. The only thing I'm iffy on is the export limit, but it's fine. It's also easy to understand how to do certain things after just a quick read of the tutorial for it. This made one of my dreams I never thought would come true, come true :)

I've been looking for an app to copy down my part in all of my pieces ( so the soprano, tenor, and bass parts don't distract me ), but everytime I add a note, something happens and it ends up in the wrong place. For example, I tried adding a half rest at the beginning of measure one, beats one and two, but it moved over to beats two and three. Then I added a quarter note after the last rest in that measure, but my note moved down to the next one. Also it didn't put in all the measures I needed.

Really like this app because it has alot of potential, the problem is alot of functions don't work such as articulations and dynamics don't affect playback which is really difficult to work with. Also some of the instruments (primarily the harp) dound a little weird and doesnt really sound like it should, I would also recommend putting in a pitz function for strings (violin, viola, cello,) but other than that its really easy to use just please fix those issues.

There ARE MAJOR ISSUES THEY NEED TO FIX. 1, GET RID OF THE IN APP PURCHASES! IT DISRUPTS YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND IS JUST AN EXCUSE TO MAKE MONEY. I'm better off upgrading to full version after getting used to it. Second, GET RID OF CORRECTION MODE FOR CERTAIN DEVICES. 3rd, we would need a second type of percussion staff for certain instruments. Finally, more ornaments. Now, the good stuff. EVERYTHING ELSE!!!! It's easy, it's fun to use, and is simple. Overall, 9/10. (Discard review)

Its pretty good and it works for the most part but sometimes the length of the notes can stacato on there own for a period of time and some of the instruments dont work at times like the tuba, marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, picolo, and timpani. Espescially the timpani, this instrument is the only one ive been having issues with lately. Overall I give it a 3. Its fun but has its flaws that could use some fixing.

This is so greeeeeeeeat. All night ive been installing and uninstalling music makers since i was searching for sonewhere i can custom my own music and not the mix match thing. It's easy enough, even without a tutorial, press, press, delete- it was easy and great. Just what I wanted as i want to make a sort of upbeat kind of nostalgic death-of-your-favorite-character music and it's too specific for an amateur like me to achieve it via mix match adjust tempo :D

One gripe is that when you transpose from Concert to Eb, the notes SKYROCKET up to the next octave. This is not how transposition works and it's a shame because I play Alto Sax, so I write music in Eb. Another gripe is how little Percussive instruments there are. Adding Percussion notes are difficult because it never goes onto the right-most note when I try to select it once it has been on the measure. This is the only music making app I use so I really want it to become a better app.

Just paid for the full version. This is exactly what I was looking for and it suits my needs perfectly. I would like to be able to rename instruments. I am writing music for a 20 string harp guitar with sub bass strings and zither. I wish I could rename the staff from ukulele to zither, bass to sub bass, etc. Other than that, this a great, easy to use, portable song writing aid that I consider essential to the songwriter on the go! Please make it possible to customize instrument names 🙏🤞

Well done! But still room for improvement. Start with this: when changing keys in the middle of a song, perhaps to a minor key, have an option when copying & pasting to hold notes to their original letter names. As in a parallel minor. As it is now, 'No transposition' holds notes to original pitches.

This app is really good. But one thing that bothered me, in playback mode the tempo is not constant... I compared with a real metronome, the playback didn't keep up with the right tempo... Please fix this... I would be interested to buy the full version if the tempo issue has been fix.

Ive been searching for a good notation app andnthis is by far the bes one ive foud the only problem fore is that there are no marching percussion instruments and some of the instruments dont sound right but still the best app ive found

It's really good until it wouldn't let you play one of the songs you've written. It has a little dynamic problems

For very beginner song writing this works fairly well. The UI isn't amazing but it's far from bad. And everything is fairly easy to understand without even doing the tutorial. But there are a lot of musical things missing from it. The ones I ran into being Molto Ritardando and 7thuplets.

This is NOT intuitive at all. Coming from someone who is extremely versed in Sibelius and Finale, this app fails to make writing notation either easy or painless. If you select a note, it is not apparent or easy to edit it (duration is WAY harder to change accurately than pitch if you use their keyboard). I really had high hopes for this app and it's capabilities to be useful, but it is like trying to push rope to get anything written, let alone to do it efficiently and timely. 2⭐ for effort.
