ScorePal

ScorePal removes the need for pen and paper at the end of any game.
It's extremely easy to use (it looks exactly like the score sheet you'll find in any board game), and it packs a lot of features:
* Beautiful material design
* Seamless integration with BoardGameGeek (BGG).
* Automatic score calculation, or manual winner selection.
* Support for games where biggest score wins, smallest wins, co-ops and many more.
* Stats about player performance, games hi-score evolution etc.
* Calendar view for your activity
* Over 100 score sheet templates for popular games, and still growing ...

This is a score tracker that's actually fun to use and really flexible. It comes with predefined score sheets for popular games but you have full control to build your own.

NOTE: Using the "Search" icon is now the recommended way of creating games.

Overall great app, but can you pls fix dark theme? Or at least provide the option to switch to the theme independently of the system? Currently there is an issue with some of the text labels and white spots when dark mode is enabled.

You need to know the score value for each item to add it so pretty pointless app, eg Agricola your expect to enter quantity and get a score. Also ridiculously annoying full screen, full volume adverts you cannot skip, plus bottom screen adverts, the GUI is confusing.

Overall, I am really happy with how this app works! It's easy to search for and add games. Main gripe I have is that when entering scores, if you make a mistake, it's annoying to fix since you can't clear previous entries (unless there's something I'm missing). Again, I am pleased with the app overall though. It does what it does well! Edit: I was missing something. If you scroll down and switch from "Increment" to "Manual," you are able to edit the scores to your heart's content!

I really like this app, and it's fun to use; we enjoy looking at the game and player stats. However, there is one problem: Whenever I accidentally input the wrong score on a round and then move to the next person, when I come back to that same round, it automatically adds a + symbol, and I can't backspace that. This makes it annoying, and makes me have to do some math in my head to figure out how to put in the actual score by adding to the current one. It'd be nice if I could just delete the automatic + symbol.

When you save games from one device, and import them to another device, games are imported as spectate. So the app doesn't find you and some other players when importing. Then if you update an imported game, the original one is never updated with the changes. Just realized import from Google drive doesn't work... Impossible to import a save file.

To echo other reviewers, this is a must have app if you want to: 1) Sync plays to BGG- It is bi-directional. So plays already in BGG come to the app, and plays in the app go to BGG. (Paid version only) 2) Quickly and easily tabulate your scores- It has a huge library of games and i was surprised at how easy it was to use. Just search for your game and then choose a scoring template you like. You can also Upvote really good ones for everyone else. (Included in free version. Paid version allows you to make your own scoring templates) 3) Analyze Stats- I am not really that into stats, but it was really fun to see my personal bests/worsts, win rates, etc (included in free version. Paid version has some super analytics stuff as well if you want more) 4) Easily remember how to setup a game and/or remember certain rules- There is a section where you can add notes around these two areas which is super helpful when you have a large collection of games. No one likes to have to reread rules. (Included in free version) 5) Much more, but the four above points are the main reasons why I think people will want this application. Concerning the ads: I had used the free version for about a month and found that they were not really an issue at all. They only popup when you finish scoring a game and, for me, lasted only 5 seconds. I did end up upgrading to the paid version though because it is a really good app and the developer needs to eat too!

Out of the many BG scoring apps I have purchased this is the only one worth keeping. I have purchased the essential BGG addon and it works brilliantly... it hauls the scoring matrix over (when it exists) making it a core, key feature the other apps I have tried cannot match. Add on the BGG score/player sync'ing and the quick sharing and it has the feature set I need.

With a very intuitive interface, and lots of options, this app excels at what it wants to do - get people who wouldn't otherwise log their plays to finally do it! When I look back fondly of my games, this is the app that I'll be turning to!

DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE PRO VERSION Paid for the pro version after using the free version for a long time. Pro version is buggy and fails checks constantly which locks out the pro features requiring at times several restarts to function properly. Emailed the devs a detailed breakdown of the issues on the day of purchase (two weeks ago) and received no response. I cannot recommend upgrading to the paid version. Stick with the free version or use another app.

Holy amazing. Been using for about a year now. I can go back and see that I play 50% of my games on the weekend. I have a 72.65% winrate. I have played 126 unique games for a total of 597 plays. That's 440 hours of gaming! All stats I wouldn't know without ScorePal. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work! I do hope to see a way to manage your collection and ratings on BGG and have them sync like plays, but I know that may not happen.

Great score keeping app. You can search and find the games you want to keep score for. It keeps basic stats for free with an upgrade for a small fee. Overall a great digital scorepad for your phone.

Payed for app then later they deleted all my data and the Google drive backup is useless and refuses to sync. They have been very unprofessional in how they rolled out their ads and super premium but at the end of the day it did the one thing I needed it not to do. Delete all the data it took me way to long to input

Edit, no longer backs upto Google drive and it hasn't been updated since 2018. Good scoring app. Nice customizable stats. Fun premium abilities and bgg sync. Like the rules section too. I don't rate apps...

Decent alternative to BGStats, but maintains a lot of data outside BGG and doesn't play nice with Boardgamegeek data. Updating a play on BGG won't sync over correctly. Also, there's no real way to backfill your plays in the app. Let's say you want to, say, add 100 plays of something like Race for the Galaxy. Importing multiple plays from BGG is broken since your name / username won't be recognized as you by ScorePal, and somehow ScorePal will reduce the number of bulk plays on the BGG end.

I use it daily and even paid for premium upgrades, which is a rarity for me. Well worth it. There was a recent issue with the server, but the developer responded upon being contacted and everything is back to normal. 5 stars all the way!

Looks like there aren't updates for a long time. I've purchased BGG sync but it doesn't work currently. It has lots of potential but looks abandoned.

Extremely useful. Great database, lots of options and user friendly too. Free version has all the features you need but there's extra goodies in the paid upgrades.

Very good app that allows you to create your own templates for scoring. Only downside is that it is maintained by a single person and if something goes wrong, it can take awhile to fix.

After literally trying 20 different scorekeeping apps, none of them had the features I needed except this one. I transferred all 30 of my games hiscoresinto this app, and even made the purchase to help the developer. Awesome!
