Half the time it says there's a network failure even though I have a full signal and able to use all my other apps. Why pay for something that I can barely use?
Has too many problems for the cost. I have only had the app for two days, but have needed to update it twice. This caused me to have to uninstall the app both times and reinstall in order to make it work. Then I had to redownload the database each time. The app crashed several times while trying to download and then when you go to test it it tells you it's no good and you have to redownload. When it works it works great...but it doesn't work too often to be worth $40 per month
When it comes to barcode and ISBN scanning either with the app/camera or a barcode scamming device. Nothing is faster and more accurate. than this app and program I'd recommend it to others. I've tested many However, rating a 3 because of Text input. it is sub par. when scouting books on apps. Like Facebook. Unable to use Swype. After inputing book titles. When similar options I must reenter title when I back off first. And other text input issues. Great for auto, bad for manual input
The app works great! I was able to scan roughly 1k books in about 1.5 hours. Not sure if it's my phone or the app, but the time it takes to focus on an ibsn is frusterating. I hope they add some customizable alert sound soon - Cha ching, booyah, mario brother coin sound. You know fun sounds. The buzzer for reject can weigh on you after hearing it 1000 times. Thank you for all the hard work that went in to this app
Good app, just started crashing often when clicking trigger settings or sbyb button.
It's pretty ridiculous that it can only be used with an Amazon Professional seller's account. Can't use it with the Individual. No thanks.
Just got started, but customer service is AMAZING! I sent an email with an issue and they walked me through and did troubleshooting until everything worked. They are very friendly and didnt give up or even mention operator error. Would highly recommend.
The one and only app you need for sourcing and scanning books. Intuitive, easy to use, and beautifully designed. Their support team is always prompt and helpful if you have any questions. A robust and awesome app. Highly recommended!
Not For Beginners! The only way to sign up is to go to the website (Google search) then not only do you have to pay monthly (after trial expires) but you need a PROFESSIONAL level Amazon seller account to use the live lookups. This is a highly recommended app by book sellers but no one has ever mentioned the monthly cost of $84 (Amazon pro is $40 and the full version of this service is $44 if you pay monthly).
Requires microphone permission in order to scan a barcode. Does not work if camera permission alone allowed. Either they are going to record you all the time and sell your info, or they are woefully inept at making apps. All this for a paid service that I would mind paying if it was honest and precise? No way, delete and one star.
This AWESOME software allows me to know in advance if a product or book is going to sell on Amazon -- saving me from buying duds! Software runs smoothly and the customer service is TOP NOTCH, second-to-none. Free trial shows you the POWER of this tool! No contracts/no commitment necessary. I cannot say enough good things. I never write reviews, but I am compelled to when it comes to endorsing ScoutIQ!
Been using scouting for years finally time to review. Nothing's free that works. Highly recommend data plus live mode. When you loose wifi you can always run on data mode. No annoying ads. customer service is always great!!!
Great scouting app, clean and user friendly. The design is great and intuitive. User support is excellent and my inquiries were promptly responded to. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is serious about scouting books!

A particular "hats off" goes to Monica, a very talented and dedicated customer support person who solved a very gnarly problem caused by another app (not ScoutIQ). This company goes out of their way to provide a positive experience for their users and I would recommend them to anyone.
this app is by far one of the best scounting apps out there. very easy to use and many great features that makes your sourcing simpler amd easier! if you are in the market for a scouting app. press the download button on this baby! you wont be dissapointed. i would also like to mention that their support staff for troubleshooting is amazing. thank you caleb roth and the scoutIQ team
By far the best book scouting app! Ive been using this since 2018 ... Customer service is 5 stars plus. I highly recommend data plus live mode, if you loose wifi you can still go full speed on data Mode. Scoutiq has always been the leader for book scouting.
This is a must have app for any bookseller. We've been with them since the beginning and we are beyond happy. The app makes the information easy to read and understand. That, coupled with the easy to reach and super friendly creators makes this app the best on the market.
I've tried the other guys and this one is the best. Awesome user experience, clear triggers, amazing customer service and great community. Perfect tool making scouting for books and other media items as smooth as possible.
You must pay to use this!100% not free and 100%not worth it. Besides having a million pop up add-on the really badly designed website I think this looks more hassle than it's worth. They seem to avoid google pay and have to do it via the laggy website rather via the app market like a normal person 100% do not recommend this app, you will struggle to get your refund which they make you pay before the trial ends. Look for a better cheaper alternative
Exceptional Custoner Service ever. MONICA made my day. I was at home in quarantine COVID19. Since all second hand stores are close I was not able to use the app in months. I decided to call. I leave a voice message. I received a text message wit a email address. I sent an email. MONICA showed empathy to my request sending me options. And I got a refund granted for today's monthly subscription. MONICA solved the issue in less than 5 min Just by email. WOW... Awesome

I just can't trust this app. So many times I'll scan something into this app and nothing comes up; but when I go into the Amazon seller app, and scan the book there, it will come right up. I really wanted to like this app but it's just not working for me.
it doesn't work at all....I've linked my acct.. and I've scanned lots of books and not 1 found. but when I go to the Amazon app. it gets results...
Pay to access stats from Amazon that should be free? No thanks. I know that Amazon doesn't make it easy to access these stats but the price of this combined with a professional sellers account is just too much.
Garbage. It requires not only a subscription fee but ALSO requires an amazon seller account which also costs money. I dont sell on amazon and I dont want to have to pay for a seller account there just to check prices on the things I want to sell...
Fantastic app I'm reading others stating that there's bugs it's pretty simple there's no bugs PAY for the app. It's NOT A FREE APP. We have been using this since 2019 and I have NOT HAD ANY OF THESE SO CALLED BUGS.
Too pricy! The app costs at a minimum $14/mo, you must link it your Amazon "seller" count ($40/mo) or else the scanner won't give you any results. I don't have $55 a month to put in that much time looking for products to sell and sell possibly not being profitable.
