Exactly what I need to see if my screen had anything burned into it. Fortunately most of it isn't noticeable during my normal use. Thanks for making it as easy as possible with little hassle. Though the point of there being no instructions or info for those unfamiliar with testing is a downside. No ads is a massive plus.
Response to publisher: Thank you for the information. I will go through the settings once more and update my review of the app accordingly. Ah! I wanted it to work, but it doesn't fill in the whole screen on my Galaxy S9. (most screen issues lie within notification bar area and the 3 bottom gesture buttons)
Very simple, very clean. No ads, text clutter, just tap and it works. Also useful for teaching colors to a toddler. ;) Pixel 2XL here. No notch, so can't attest to the other complaints here. My experience has been excellent however.
Wow! Can't believe how simple this app is to use. Just open the app and tap your screen to change to next test colour/pattern, it's that simple. One little thing though, noticed a slight amount of red and green in the graduation scale that goes from black to white on one of the test screens. 4.9/5 !!!
I am confused, because I believe I can find some gradient pattern like screen burn-in on my amoled display that is noticeable only at very low brightness level(say 5% on brightness slider). But this app just cranks up the brightness to the max, in which case I am unable to see any burn-in. Am I correct in saying this app didn't help me? Nevertheless, full praises for the minimalist clean app!
Doesn't do anything except change colors every time you tap the screen, or drag your finger across the screen.... There is no test, or test results to let you know if your display is ok or not. There is no menu, or settings, or anything as far as I can tell, other than changing colors, almost like the old style game of simon says. I dont get the point of this, since it doesnt do anything at all.
Very convenient app for testing your screen (in many ways). Glad I found what I was looking for on the first try (screen burn-in checking app), and it got the job done. No ads, highly recommend!
Easy to use. Just launch, examine your screen and then tap to scroll through colors and patterns. Can use as a low light "flashlight."
Works well, no ads, simple to use, you can even use it to see if you have dirt on your screen protector.
Excellent App. Extremely easy to use, does exactly what it supposed to do, checking for burned in screen. No adds, no deception.
The only one of three of these top rated screen apps that did anything. Got rid of my ghosting/burn-in by letting the gray image sit for a while. Thanks
No ads which is the most important thing, nice set of colors and images, great work.
Two little suggestions: try to implement fwd / back buttons and Lock Screen feature. That would make it perfect! ๐๐
Excellent app. Does exactly what you need it to do, requires no permissions, just phenomenal.
High resolution graphics, rotates through various colours, can be made on my S10+ to take up the entire screen.
The only decent one I found. Although it should be available fullscreen by default on notched phones
Excellent for screen testing! simple and to the point.
I downloaded based on an online article and was expecting a text with displayed results. That's not what this does. It displays colors and patterns so you can find issues yourself. It is actually fantastic for that, And I will probably use it instead of trying to find bright images online to test with. I took one star away though because there is no communication to explain how the testing is supposed to work. A readme or 1st use splash screens with instructions would really help your ratings.
