This is one of the most disappointing control tool apps I have encountered in a very long time. Info on app indicates it hasn't been updated in years. Random connection and normally does not save function changes made even though it indicates the change has occurred. For the amount of money spent on the installed equipment you would expect better support application s.
This interface is one of the top five worst ones in years. It is not intuitive at all and is in dire need of a face lift. It is hard to even add an email address for the alerts because the add button does nothing along with the save buttons. Highly disappointing because it is not priced or marketed as a cheap poorly designed app however that is what it is. It's unfortunate.
When are you going to update the Android app? The iPhone app is modern but the Android app looks like it is from 2011. When you can make the update so that it is compatible with Alexa? Pentair has the potential of being a great app in modern controller, just make it compatible with Androids and other wireless devices. The history section is worthless, it has no time stamp - just a graph of the pool functions, you can estimate timelines, but why isn't there a time stamp on the x axis? I wish I could change the brightness of the lights through the app, look at the speed settings on my pool pump (which sounds like the iphone app has). Your android app hasn't been updated since 2018. Why do I need 2 apps - one to configure my pool equipment and another to run it? Horrible execution on Pentair's part
The time sync was corrected and so good so far. My main concern now is having two apps to perform or view certain task. Additionally it would be nice to know the purpose of having email alerts, if that function were to work. Thanks for responding so promptly.
Was really excited when we bought a house that had a pool and learned that we could, supposedly, control the pool from this app. But it rarely works/connects, the user interface is confusing, and it keeps resetting/disconnecting if our power goes out. Worst of my smart home apps by far.
Really needs an update. The app needs a bit more thought into it and should be updated. Really not something to be proud of. Pentair please spend the time to redo your interface. Make the app similar to your competitors
Anyone having trouble with this app the problem is likely a bad hardware/network install by either you, your network provider, or your pool installer. If your home network isn't up to par, then adding this system to it is probably not going to be a good experience. I installed the hardware myself, my phone instantly connected, and has been working great. FYI, if you're just looking to control basic functions of your pool, you should be using ScreenLogic Connect app rather than this app.
Not all features work. I can't save the time and date. Scheduling stop working for no reason. History stopped working. IPhone app works 10 times better. Please fix so I don't have to purchase an IPhone to make my pool equipment wirk correctly.
Android version has some flaws. Bought a house with the screenlogic interface. Was unable to update information or remote password with android. Struggled for hours. Went to wife's iPhone and features worked as expected. Needs a good update.
Works well. Wish everything was in one app, if you have too many schedules, some of them will start getting randomly skipped, and intelliflo pump settings should be able to be scheduled.
This app should be life altering and a game game changer that enhances your control of your pool and keeps it clean and safe. Instead it is a bit clunky and frustrating. I don't know that the company appreciates how much this simple app and the others in their cannon could not only improve the image of their company but their business overall. It feels like a poor leadership challenge. Someone within the company should be charged with making this best of breed. I'd certainly join any beta team.
I can correct date and time or adjusted temperature sensor but won't save the changes. The screenlogic is running a month behind and 10 hours off and I can't corrected it.
lately, I have to reset the phone in order for the app to work. Now when I open the app it doesn't connect at all. I am getting frustrated.
Very buggy, for example just adjusting schedules makes the schedule disappear. Crashes other times.
How do I set up the two required apps on another phone? This is really hard to figure out. And why even does it require two apps to run my pool equipment?
Works fine but I'm unable to set a password for remote access. There should be a password for local access also.
Doesn't work. I have a good wifi and data connection. App won't connect, ever.
Awful experience for Android users. Multiple apps that combined lack 80% of the functionality of the iphone option
Very user unfriendly. Hard to set up. Hard to maintain.hard to sync.
Very user friendly. Use it everyday on the job. Reliable and effective.
Program locks up constantly. Can't turn off pump.
Too many log in failures on Android. Please fix this.

The app for Android is like playing Oregon Trail in elementary school in the 80's vs the Apple version. Having to have a second app to adjust speeds of the pump is annoying. I also thought when I was purchasing the screen logic system I'd have control over my 5G light. What I mean is that I would be able to select any color I'd like that the light is capable of producing. The teal color in one of the programs is one of the better looking colors in our pool but I can't select it for my color. I also have an issue our builder said isn't a warranty issue with my shallow water 5G light. When I turn the lights off no matter what color the lights are on the deep water light turns off completely while the red light comes on or stays on for 30 seconds. I hope the Android app is in the process of being upgraded to at least equal to the Apple Variant.
