ScreenMirroring Patch

i bought an samsung's note 3 neo with updated kitkat 4.4.2. And am having a television which supports ScreenMirroring. When i try to connect with my note 3 neo device. in my mobile am getting error like 'fail to connect via screen mirroring'. even i can see my device name in tv. then i searched in google and i got an solution likeScreenmirroringpatch. in that app i got an state message like patch is not needed. when again i have tried but same reply from mobile.

Connected but screen is black. Installed the patch but message is that its not needed. No use now for the allshare cast dongle. Waste of money. And i dont want to buy a samsung TV because it depicts the purpose of the dongle being used with any hdmi capable TV. I bring this in the hotel or if there are any presentation projecting it to a projector or tv screen. Now its useless.

This is USELESS on my Note 3. My Screen Mirroring is CONSTANTLY SCANNING. My battery went from lasting 2 days to 4 to 6 hours. Seriously considering contacting an attorney to start a class action suit since they're now lying on TV about this battery being the best and lasting the longest of ANY OTHER PHONE ON THE MARKET. Never again will I buy a Samsung product.

What did you do to Allshare. This app has become a total nightmare. I can not cast YouTube to my tv. That is a major fail. Mirroring my screen should be an option and to add insult to injury I have to rotate my screen to get the full picture. Allshare is arguably your best casting facility. Smart View. The jury is back. PATHETIC AND EPIC FAIL.

My screen mirroring was working just fine after the update it wasn't until this patch applied itself without my permission that my screen mirroring got all messed up. I'm so angry and frustrated I don't know what to do is text does not work. This makes me never want to buy another Samsung product again.

Android 4.4.2 has been the worst update for note 2 so far. This patch could not solve the problem. If i go to accessories and then select audio from ext speakers when docked... the device stops to give music player output as if..it was already docked... Samsung must resolve this problem.

(how to solve)download then open the app if it says patch let it if not it doesn't matter. Then go to application manager and go to this app then in the top right corner it should say uninstall updates. Let it restore to factory settings (just for the app) and then it will work. My device is a Galaxy Note II (Verizon) Android version 4.4.2

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) that previously used to connect with and screen mirror to my Samsung (non-Smart) TV via the Samsung Allshare cast dongle. My phone is now using Android version 4.4.2 and screen mirroring no longer works properly. The phone and dongle are able to connect, but after a very short time (never more than 2 minutes) the connection is dropped and screen mirroring ceases. I have tried resetting the dongle and reconnecting to it, but the problem persists. I have downloaded

If I could give it 0 stars I would. It's absolutely useless, installed it because my tablet can no longer use screen mirroring for more than 10 minutes without the wifi dropping off and cutting out the cast. I was told this app is to solve the issue as it's only been happening since the update. It tells me that I do not need the patch - like hell I don't.

After the update I could never mirror my phone screen anymore...and now even after the patch I can't...Its a shame that I spent so much money on a smartphone, Note 2, which now can't do a basic job and a company as big as samsung is so pathetic that they screw up an important smartphone feature through an update.

We have a Samsung TV that mentions AllShare but my phone won't detect the TV as something it can use Screen Mirroring on and said no devices are detected. I got this app only to be told I don't need the patch. AllShare's a glitchy thing, Samsung; For that, 3 stars only.

It says the patch is "NOT needed" yet whenever I play video via screenshare, the video is way ahead of the sound. I have tried so many things to fix it, since it worked a while ago... I feel like we wasted money getting a Smart TV...

UPDATE: This app when opened said no patch, so it was no help. Well after just opening the AllShare on my Samsung BluRay and on my phone as usually more than a dozen times it worked. When the device shows up on your phone LONG PRESS and enter the pin. Again a dozen or more times and I held my phone close to the BluRay player. OLD POST: BAD ON SAMSUNGS PART...I've been trying a lot of things and have been unable to fix this. On You Tube you can find some solutions BUT you will need root access.

This app is awesome. Works just as good as the mirroring app. My Samsung Smart TV , Galaxy Note 3 and 8" Tablets all link together with any hard or difficult settings at all. Simply just download and click and everything syncs together all at once. Now I just bought a Samsung Smart DVD/Blue-Ray Wi-Fi with the Samsung Mirroring App already installed and all 4 devices work together at once. Was freaking mind blowing on how quickly it set up and installs plus the ease of which to set up too. Love Samsung Products. Out does the rest hands down. "Best Buy" is the best place to purchase these items cause of the extended warranty they give you make even sweeter. I am total impressed beats the pants off of Apple IPads (old school stuff now).

Screen mirroring was so easy and worked perfectly before the music app was updated. Now it doesn't see my tv and the app says that a patch isn't needed even though my screen mirroring got ruined from the update. (Tried rebooting all the devices already; phone, tv, router)

My Note 3, Samsung laptop and TV with dongle struggle to find each other when they're 6 feet apart...but Apple TV worked out of the box, first try and in under 3 minutes. Samsung...get with the Internet of Things...shouldn't need 3 hours and a PHD in Astrophysics to make things connect.

After Android 5.0.1 my Samsung Smart TV will no longer allow ANY screen mirroring to be full screen. Used to work perfectly. Very disappointed in Samsung. Tried the patch (obviously it's for an older version of Android), and it didnt work - but regardless they should be on top of this.

My alpha connected great to my allshare cast hub until lollypop upgrade. It crashes everyone I try to connect now. My Samsung tablets running KitKat still connect great, but no fix yet for phone.

I updated my s3 LTE to 4.4.4 and lost screen mirroring. It was working fine before updating, I then used this patch which was useless it didnt work. Please help if someone's sorted it. Further I have contacted Samsung and complained about this issue and All they could do is point me to use this patch or wait for a update from Samsung which has no appointed time of arrival. I suggest every one needs to notify Samsung so they get a move on.

I was hoping somebody here would share how to resolve the new issue on screen mirroring after Os update 4.4 but to my dismay most of them were simply complaining. Anyways, I am sharing the solution after spending hours trying to resolve it myself without proper instruction from Samsung which also disappoint me... GO TO APPLICATION MANAGER, OPEN SCREEN MIRRORING PATCH, UNINSTALL UPDATE THEN OK BACK TO FACTORY SETTING. THEN, OPEN YOUR SCREEN MIRRORING AGAIN AND IT WILL CONNECT & UPDATE PROPERLY. GOOD LUCK.

Just bought the all share device. My note 3 says unable to connect because hardware issues. I will be going back to best buy and get a refund of this all share device. I have a mhl hdmi cable that works perfectly and it isn't even made by samsung... that's sad. Please fix this, samsung!!!

11/14. After months of avoiding the AllShare Update (march2014) I managed to mistakenly update the App. Now my AllshateCast is SHOT. Dongle detected-Tv Screen chanes-Led turns Blue then mobile says FAILED. Guys, if you've recently updated your android OS and screen mirroring has stopped working, then this should fix it. It did for me running Kit Kat on Note3 using the Allshare hub. It installs a 'patch', which once installed offers a ShortCut. If you invoke this, then apply patch, should start working.

Had screen mirror that came with the phone. Used the patch. No go! Your earlobe may have been the culprit as it may gave messed around with your settings while you were on a call possibly. So go to the top of your screen scroll down and select edit you may see screen mirroring on the bottom. You can drive it upward with the others for easier access. Hope this helps.

Dear Samsung Team, we paid a lot of hard earned money to you people. Please look into it your key apps/feature don't works with Samsung devices. I am not able to use screen mirroring with Samsung Smart Tv.

Samsung Galaxy note 5. Not working for me. Says patch not needed. Did the power, volume up and home key, scrolled down and removed cache from my phone, reinstalled patch, and same problem. Surely hope this problem gets resolved. Screen mirroring was working before I updated my phone to lollipop 5.1.1
