Scriba Latin dictionary

An excellent Latin-English dictionary; it's great that conjugation and declension information is regularly provided with the entries. The extra resources contained in the app is fantastic.

Let me just start with, this app has proved itself invaluable time and time again! The charts that display a word's conjugation or declension are laid out in a format that is easy to understand and process. The app can easy stand up against my Oxford Latin Dictionary, and even proves more insightful at times! For anyone studying Latin, I highly recommend this app! The paid version is even better than the free version by a long shot!

Needs some ui love, true to original sources. Overall look is good, but back button should not always exit the app. Suggestions to improve: 1. Fix back button failure to return to prior screen. 2. Source docs are so abbrrviation riddled adding in a glossary would be major help. 3. Highlight the definitions in the massive walls of usage examples

Back button exits the app instead of going back a page. This alone is reason and annoyance enough to uninstall. Loses your place on reopening. Definitions are mixed in somewhere within a massive cluttered mess of words. Very hard to quickly find a definition. Limited words provided, and developer wants to charge for unlocking the rest of the dictionary. Sinful to ask people to pay for such an unpolished and roughly thrown together app which has not been updated recently and likely never will be.

This is perhaps the finest Latin learning app I've ever downloaded, and I've downloaded many. I would encourage anyone who wishes to have a comprehensive, excellent grammar, reader glossary, etc, to download this. However, to truly get the most out of it you need to pay for the full version.. 99 cents is absolutely nothing for this gem

This app got even better now it has latin text in the document section, and is calibrated for novice and seasoned latin scholars. In the reading section, you can highlight word to find their defintion. This app is a must have for all studying, refreshing, or maintaining their latin.

There is no upfront mention of limited functionality or the need to purchase the full version neither is the price of the full version mentioned before the buy screen. If a shop did this you would avoid. Uninstalling.

The back button does not function correctly in this app. Every time you hit your device's back button, the app exits instead of moving the previous screen.

It would seem that few words (if any) aside from "tollo" actually include conjugations as the photo led me to believe it had. I tried "laudo," which is pretty common and there was nothing.

Honestly, it is annoying the way the app closes immediately the back button is touched. The app is good but the issue above needs to be addressed!

I loved the app, but it keeps closing whenever I try to add a word to learn it in flashcard study. I hope it will be fixed soon... :)

The entries are incredibly cluttered, almost to the point of useless.

I downloaded this to help me learn Latin with Duolingo, and immediately I was impressed by the level of explains, something Duolingo lacks.

Crazy generous no ad free version... And $1.50 upgrade to pro. I upgraded without a second thought. Amazing Latin learning tool.

Thanks for the last update. This is better when passive verbs don't need to be clicked.
