This app contains the 2013 edition of Latter-day Saint scriptures with compelling enrichment material. The Church granted a license to Book of Mormon Central in 2016 to build this mobile app. It includes multiple versions of the text, formatting with sub-headings, red lettering to highlight words of deity, author/speaker identification, questions and answers, quotations from General Authorities and reliable scholars, charts, images, and Book of Mormon Central’s signature KnoWhys.
Many more technical features and content types are contemplated in future releases. We hope you find this app rewarding and spiritually invigorating. It facilitates pondering God’s word in a rich digital environment that builds enduring faith in Jesus Christ by making Latter-day Saint scriptures, particularly the Book of Mormon, accessible, comprehensible, and defensible to the entire world. This might be a coincidence but the first scripture I went to study was Helaman 14 which for some reason skips the first eight verses and starts on verse 9. Helaman 15 starts on verse 3. Additionally there is just a bit of janky-ness about the whole app. The blue bar on the left of the page kind of spazes around anytime you scroll. Sometimes if you scroll to a certain spot they'll be a large gap in text.I might use it if I have a specific question but for now I'll use Library until this improves
App makes Scripture study more interesting. Took one star off for the frequent times when there is no capitalization paragraph breaks and punctuation in video transcription. Even so, I recommend it highly.
I love this app! The daily reading is set up in a way that makes it easy to accomplish. I also love the videos that explain more about the culture and history, but especially their insights to the principles being taught. I always learn so much!
This app is wonderful and the daily schedule, as well as additional videos and other readings, have truly enhanced my understanding of the Gospel and drawn me closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! LOVE it!
This daily reading plan kept me focused and daily gave me new insights. If I fell behind I could easily catch up another day. I learned so many new concepts and history and facts.
I love using this app—it has tons of helpful resources and commentary, and it helps me understand the scriptures at a deeper level. I also appreciate that the scholarly insights always enhance, rather than distract from, the spiritual meaning of the text. If I could make one improvement, it would be adding the option to download content for offline use. The internet connection in my house gets pretty spotty on occasion, and then the app takes forever to load.
It's unfortunate that while actively using the app and switching between other apps it is so difficult. Every time I go back to the app I have to navigate from the landing page the remember where I was in the app. It is annoying, frustrating and really an easy programming fix for the developer. Otherwise it is a great so and helps me with my daily study.
it helps me keep my focus on the Scriptures daily. because of health issues I need that focus there are some days when it's longer than I want but I still keep plugging cuz I need it
This app is helpful for enhancing my scripture study. Everything is gathered for me, videos, commentary, quotes, and additional insights, all on the same screen. This saves time and energy, so that I don't have to go searching for these things on my own. It also is helpful when I have questions about specific verses to have deeper insights just a click away. The app is also user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Excellent supplementary material for studying the Old Testament. Such variety and outstanding quality. Visual illustrations of talk is superb...overall an astonishing array of contributors and content.
ScripturePlus is my favorite way to study. It is a way I can accomplish my goal everyday. The videos are my favorite part. All those who participate in them have such a great spirit!
Being skeptical at first of yet another scripture study app, I have found the insights fresh, sourced from appropriate authorities. Including multimedia resources enhanced my study experience as well.
This app is wonderful, and has greatly enhanced my scripture study! It makes it easier for me to stay engaged with the verses displayed in paragraph form. Of the extra features at the bottom of the screen, I especially love the quotes and charts. Having a red letter BoM is very helpful to keep me focused on Christ.
This is great. I am enjoying the additional content. One thing to change would be the dates associated with a plan, let the user start when they want and have the date adjust as needed. I only downloaded the app recently and started reading then, but the plan is set to start in January.
This app helps me actually study and not just read the scriptures. It gives me a lot to think about each day and helps me to remember to pick up where I left off.
The app will not sync up. I have tried loading it on several devices. I am getting the same results. I have uninstalled for now. Yesterday, when I installed from Google Play store the app would never download and open up. I tried it again this morning and it successful ly downloaded and opened. I will test it for a bit before changing my rating.
I love this app. I would love to access it on my PC [much larger screen than my phone]. This would really help when looking at charts, etc. Is that possible? I really appreciate all the effort that has made possible attaching videos, insights, charts, etc. Many things in one place enhances study of the scriptures. Thank you.
I love this concept! So nice to have so many sources right at my fingertips as I'm reading. However, in the last 5 minutes, 3 times I've gone into one of the options in the study guide, like book of mormon minute or something in the insights, and I cant get back to the scriptures. Using the arrow at the bottom of my phone or the arrow at the top of the screen in the app both close the app down. Could be because I left the screen and then came back to it? But, I need to be able to do that. 🤣
This app is great for so many reasons. First, I love that it portions up the come follow me curriculum into daily, bite sized nuggets. Second, I love that it includes insightful, typically referenced commentary, but not so much that it's a drag. And third, I love that with the combination of the bite sized portions and the commentary, I feel like I am understanding the scriptures better, and more importantly, growing closer to Christ!
The app is wonderful and I am encouraged by the continual development of additional features. However, I would use the app more if I could apply thoughts and notes to individual verses, is that capability forthcoming?
ScripturePlus provides an additional way to study the scriptures with added insight and back stories to clarify some of the doctrinal points contained in the scriptures. I consider it a great companion to Come Follow Me. With these resources I have meaningful church everyday.
Interface is a little hard to navigate otherwise an amazing app by an amazing group of people.

Love this app! Such a great tool for studying the BofM this year. Everything is at your fingertips; videos, history, backstory. Whether you have hours or just a few minutes, you are able to learn more than by just reading the chapter assignment. Download to your phone, whenever you have a minute you'll be able to study and learn where ever you are.
I love the study plans. I feel like they are comprehensive and a good length. The videos are great and there is always additional study material. This app helps me study the Savior through the scriptures effectively.
