Scrollbars Master

Fans of "One tap" games and retro gaming, welcome ! A new arcade phenomenon is here : Scrollbars Master. More than old school, intriguing and unnerving, this simple (but highly addictive) game is the perfect blend of past and future gaming. A "Back to the Future" ... to the 80s!
This is a remake of the classic title Pong game, but using the "die and retry" formula, where the player's reflexes and concentration are tested every moment.

- First, a little history:

"The original concept of Pong is a table tennis simulation (ping-pong). A small ball moves across the screen, bouncing off the top and bottom boundaries. It was developed by Ralph Baer and published by Atari in 1972. Pong was the first video game to have mass success." (source: Wikipedia).

- Back to the present:

In Scrollbars Master, the challenge is much greater. You control four rackets at the same time, and the small square ball must never touch the electric boundaries of the virtual table, or it causes a short circuit. But that's not all. These rackets, called "scrollbars," are magnetic. That is, they return to their point of origin as soon as you release your finger ... it seems impossible, right? Could this be the hardest game in the world? ... No, in space, in the galaxy!

Visually, the pixel art was inspired by the universe in the movie Tron, where geometric shapes are drawn by neon and lasers, but also by old Macintosh games like Schufflepuck Café, which itself was inspired by Star Wars. The somewhat dark Scrollbars Master mascot is also a kind of jedi master telepath who moves rackets by the sheer force of his mind.

In short, do not expect yet another copy of the retro gaming classics like Pong, Arkanoid (Break Bricks), etc. Scrollbars Master goes further, adding an ingenious game mechanic to the retro experience and pixel style. With regard to playability, it is closer to Arrow (by Ketchapp) Amazing Brick or Super Hexagon.

Very challenging and addictive pong. I feel like I'm Jeff Bridge in TRON. Bring on some bonuses !!!!
