I have been trying to contact support for months regarding accessing the app from my new phone. After being told that my old account couldn't be found, I was just charged an annual renewal fee. Funny how Scuff couldn't find my acct to give me access after a phone change, but found it just fine to charge my card yesterday. Each time I try to contact to resolve this issue, I keep getting a password reset confirmation email.

It rejects 90% of all profile photos. It rejects them so often that the app is unusable. And I'm not the problem! I can assure you my face is clearly visible and my pictures are completely safe for work. This is so freaking annoying.

UPDATE: NOTHING SAVES STILL! Upload a pic, doesn't save. Update profile, doesn't save. Spend too much time creating a unique "about me", just gone in 5 mins. It's pointless to update profile or fill things in. So frustrating! 👎 Going to Edit as again based on the Scruff Response... This issue has been ongoing since I started using the app several years ago. It has not changed. The information does not consistently save when you edit your profile. FOR YEARS. Full stop. Bye with the excuses.

Yo, you need a filter that filters out anyone who has "nsa." Right now, your filter allows you to include those individuals, but it doesn't allow you to remove them from results, and this is necessary, because someone like me won't give someone like that the time of day! I won't pay for another month without a feature like this added to the platform.

Better than others. Welcomes a better crowd (Sometimes I think, at least). It also has better functions, UI, profile verification, photo sharing, etc than competitors. I know because I've tried them all.

Overall I've been satisifed....I think guys are slightly nicer on here than its similar competitor, and more features are essentially free (e.g. "explore" includes unlimited messages). I would've given it 5 stars but my biggest complaint is the way they "lock" you out of messages that are more than about a day old if you aren't a paid member (in other words, if 10 guys message you in one day, the first of those guys will have his profile disappear from your inbox if you don't reply quickly, so you'd better favorite him or else you lose him). As if that wasn't bad enough, they HIDE messages with a specific user after about 5 messages back and forth; in other words, they hide YOUR OWN MESSAGE HISTORY in order to try to make you pay (now mind you, I still have to view ads all the time so it's not like they're not making any money off me). I can only imagine how much this causes guys to ask the same questions over and over because you can't see what was said the day prior. I like having quality conversations so this is a huge barrier for me. I understand wanting to encourage people to subscribe, but this seems absolutely absurd to me and causes me to screenshot every conversation like a crazy person 🤦‍♂️ To the creators, I encourage you to think more creatively about how to get people to subscribe because hindering conversations is probably the last thing you want to do on a social media app.

Really inconsistent support. And inconsistent processes around approving photos. If your "hot" you'll get your photo approved. But if someone decides they don't like it. Your at their whim despite the profile next to you being the same photo.

The app used to be better. They lure you in, but you can't do hardly anything, including seeing older messages and unlocking photos without paying. Worthless.

This app will let me open it once and browse through my messages and guys near me. When I try to open it up again, it opens up and then immediately shuts down. I have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it every time.

I use a text overlay on my photos so that others are discouraged from stealing them. Unfortunately Scruff won't allow this, which means I can't upload a profile photo. This makes the app pretty useless to me.

I haven't had bug issues after my weeks of use. most users have face photos and profile details are usually provided. competitive scruff pro rates, swipe left/right matching feature. no interrupting ads... definitely beats grindr

I have been unable to change my picture order. It just ignores the changes. Can't even upload new pictures. I've verified my account and everything. App is shocking.

Stop blocking my private messages in my message box from me. Why should i pay you to see my personal communication with another user?it feels very embarrassing you chat with someone after 20 mins all the messages get locked and both of you look stupid because you can't go back and review anything. Guess people have to start giving out email or numbers to get out of your app ..dumbest of all apps. No, I'm not contacting you. Your app is useless. You are reading people's private conversations.

This app is useless. Why? After i install this app, it requires account or create a new one, but when you create one, and the proccess is going, till the validate code area, there is no code that been sent to my number! Its been 2 days, and there is no code.

I liked the app until this new mandatory profile verification disabled my ability to shuffle or change my profile photos unless I go through the verification process. It sounds like they want to digitize your facial features like the Chinese government does to identify its enemies and like Facebook does. This is intrusive and creepy.

After going back and getting the app again. Forgetting why I uninstalled. And sure enough. More picture discrimination. I post a pic of my self only to have it denied. I go look at other profiles doing the same thing. But they got to keep those pics up.. the last reason was my picture was too close.. it shows my full upper body.. I don't look at someone else's they're doing the same thing but worse... all you see is an arm or leg.

The guys are more real, and ads aren't in your face. I gave it a five star but am lowering to 4 because as i wrote the review a cute guy that hit me up immediately wanted to go to whatts app to continue the conversation, so the guys arent so "real" afterall

Great guys, and from everywhere. More and more being slowly taken away unless you pay for Pro which is disappointing.

Just created a profile with my partner. All went fine untill we loged out. Now cant log back in. Email address and password is not recognized yet we are shown online. Either delete or sort this issue out please. Al

I was being harassed and threatened on the app by some anonymous guy. I reported it to scruff several times and they did absolutely nothing, didn't even block the guy on my behalf as I was unable to block him myself. Becareful guys, this app doesn't really put your safety first!

It was easy to use. You can see enough pics, notifications was great. Lots of nice guys to talk on scruff. My all times favourite app

You can't even view who looks at your profile anymore. The app is becoming more and more money hungry. Some of us can't afford the premium subscription.
