I was having random boots on my phone and i was going crazy changing roms, kernels and batteries. Finally gave this app a try. It worked like a magic. The media scanner module in my phone was overloading my cpu usage to the point that cpu would force the phone to shut down. With this app i could control the media scanner. Thanks guys. Keep up your good work.
I'll update this review once I determine its effectiveness. My S5 has been getting the exclamation point icon saying the SD card has been unexpectedly removed once every 4-7 days. Started happening about a month ago, when I wake the phone. It remounts the card almost immediately, every time. 16GB SanDisk SD card, which is about 1-1/2 years old. Was in my old S3 for a little over a year. It's been in this S5 since March 2014.
Had to use the 'rescan' several times. It picked up a few more entries each time, but eventually found all twelve of the audio books on this card, and hasn't done a single unexpected unmount. Thanks for your help!
Hey retards, this app requires root to work. Stop hating this app because you don't know what root is.

It's weast of time didn't worked. Useless software plz save time n mind.
When I first started this app it couldn't detect my external sd card. I then quit and open a file manager to find the path to it. Then I started this app again and now suddenly it did find the correct path. Why do I need to run it twice to find the path? And now it's stuck at 33.3% when I scanned my external sd card :( ----- UNINSTALLED -----

Only thing is it doesn't do what it says, Xperia Z C6603 with 16GB external sdcard, it scans my sdcard but it still unmounts,
To the people who are complaining about this app not working.....Did you bother to read the description of the app before downloading? It clearly states that the phone must be rooted in order to have full functionality. This app is a great tool for sd card issues
The way this trick is implemented, it exposes the sd cards under mnt/media_rw/extSdCard AND under the storage/extSdCard mount , it comes with every similar app, and since there is only 1 copy of the file it gets deleted.. if j like to know why it cant symlink or whatever to expose only 1 mounted folder read the android implementation with staging, vold etc
What's the difference it scanned internal but nothing let's see if ur Goin to help note 2014 if you had a paid version will you then respond I'll Waite 1mth that's it then I'll score you 1 if you don't if u respond and resolve something u got back to me to rescan my internal and will detect I'll try later I've taken out the 64 gb micro sd card witch I found was the problem myself.i put in 32 and has no problems will test it and will get back to you thank you for responding I'll give 4 stars for respond and testing it says sd card isn't mounted when it is and every thing shows it is eve scan sd card for that reason n other apps as well will give u 5 thanks do u have a paid app it might work better please help it was a faulty sd card and ur app couldn't detect i uninstalled i did what u asked still it never detected i did it to the new sd card works fine but new sd card has no issue so ur app is debunked good luck
Needs SuperUser permission and looks like it cant even mount or dismount the sdcard. What it does remains a mistery. Useless
Sd card says damage .... didn't help at all .It keep saying my card is unmounted Idk what app will do the trick disappointed
Doesn't work on my rooted LG phone at all. My phone is rooted, my sd card mounted but it could not connect to my sd card even though I wrote on the correct custom path to it.
My SD card problem fixed after i installed this. Deserves a 5-star mark. Thanks to this app

My device says SD card corrupted when inserted,which means it is not appearing in the device.so how does this app fix the card if it's not even accepted by the device?not helping

Wouldn't even let me try to turn off Media Scanner! Just kept flashing notice that is was going to followed immediately by it not being able to.

The only thing this stupid app did was duplicate every file in my gallery...or so it looked like. After deleting the dupes I noticed ot had deleted the originals as well. So basically, your bullshit app just lost me ever photo and video I had. Thanks a lot guys, I mean really great work...
