SD Maid - System Cleaning Tool

Great app. Just found 43 empty files. I have over 14,000 books and 3 reading apps. Great at finding duplicate books and those little png file covers. All the info you need is shown for each duplicate so I can see if the are duplicates or that they are part of a series and just use the same picture for each cover. So no mistakes in deleting something I need. purchased pro version and able to get rid of 3 other apps that this one covers thanks for something that works .

Kinda crazy I've been using this cleaning app for like 7 plus years if not longer but I like the simplicity of it and that it actually works. I don't like these over the top app cleaners that bombard you with extra things that don't have to do with cleaning the phone. I will continue to use this cleaning app

I have been using this app for over 5 years. It is versatile, hugely powerful, a REAL "cleaner" and no toy. It is NOT a phony "System Booster." It provides a REAL App Control functions that gives complete control of what runs on startup... and it works. Other "AppOpps" type apps I bought stopped working with Nougat and later, and or simply removed the function. If you have a rooted device this is in a league of its own. This is one of the few indispensable apps. Without peer. Thank you!

This is missing some way to clean apps in the background and compare duplicate files such as photos in a side by side preview. The second part i could take care of personally though a neat enough app as is though \( ᐛ )/

SD Maid (Pro) does nothing. Look at the Android "free storage" statistics before and after running the app. once. Run SD Maid a second time - or more - and it will still claim that there is almost exactly the same amount of junk still to clean.

The best System Cleaning Tool in Google Playstore. I've been meticulous when it comes to cleaning the memory of my phones. (I have a lot of stuff stored and I want things to be organized as much as possible). Not only this app can show you the nooks and cranny of the potential trash cache, but it's also easy to use. OK, I installed this the other day hoping I would have an easy fast way of clearing CACHE. I am tired of spending a half hour or more once a week to manually do this through Setting/Apps and going through each app individually. Doing it manually, I would get back to about 6.5 GB free, but with this app I don't even see a CACHE option and I only seem to get about 5.9 so I probably am going to keep looking for that one button clear all CACHE button.

The rate would be much much higher if it didnt require me to hold onto two of the same app in order to have the pro version. Why would you make us keep the normal and pro version of app in order to have the paid for version that's designed to have no adds and less bloat. That does the opposite. Still unwilling to update so I don't have to carry both SD maid and SD maid pro... this is ignorant.

I've used SDMaid Pro for years on my Android mobile(s), and I'm very satisfied with it. However, just lately, when I try to clean databases, I get the error "Sqlite binary unavailable," and no operation is performed for cleaning databases. What's up with that? Is it some kind of conflict with my recent system updates?

Best file organizing app especially when it comes to renaming files that have unwanted characters and cannot be renamed using android's built-in file explorer and neither any other of those apps that claim to be better than stock file explorers. Well appreciated...

Best phone cleaning app I have ever used. Even had an app that wouldn't uninstall properly and SD maid removed it and all traces of it without an issue. Lots of great features in a great and easy to use package.

Does what it says on tin. If you're familiar with CCleaner on Windows, this is basically a clone of it, only it's specifically for Android phones (and well, any devices running Android OS as it have general support for both ARM and x86). I have been using this app for over a decade, it does do its job very well, keeps generations of phones free of junks.

I have been using this for many years.. but it's not working for the past 2 weeks.. App has become totally useless.. can't access the settings page. Can't run any scan.. nothing works.. pls fix..

My phone is on Android 9 and this app has been working just fine for me. I had bought it long ago but ended up uninstalling it for some reason. Recently, I got my eye on this again so I reinstalled it and now I realized its importance!! It helped me remove a lot of junk and duplicate files and even app cache that otherwise would've been next to impossible! On my secondary phone, used space came down from 75% to 67 % (approx 5 GB junk cleaned).

So far so good with this one. Interface is extremely easy to understand and the creators of this app did a good job with warning users on potentially dangerous permissions to allow IF you dont know what you're doing! 10 stars if I could. As long as this keeps doing what it is now I won't edit my review. Thanks app makers 👍😁

Best app to clean phones hands down. Don't hesitate to buy. The people giving it a bad rating don't know how to use it. You have to run the adb command to have it run properly, this is not the fault of the developer, more the fault of googles android restrictions. Before giving it a bad rating actually read, you know... with your eyes and stuff. Not the developers fault you are incapable of something we learned to do in 1st grade.

I was about to format my phone because it was become unbearably slow. Cleaning all the app caches with this app resurrected my phone and freed up about 5GB. This app is great and extremely simple and useful!

Excellent cleaner with no monthly fees It's not the prettiest or easiest cleaner out there but it one of the best I've ever used. Well worth getting the pro version.

This a best tool for handling with unnecessary files and leftovers within the whole Android operating system. It supports "root" options... The PRO version is definitely worth the money and effort spent on making this usable . . .

This app is amazing and I have trustingly used it since forever. Of course bought the pro version long time ago. One suggestion: using the App Freeze function a lot, I would need a widget or shortcut for freeze/unfreeze a specific app(s), in my very case 'magisk manager', otherwise I need to wait for sdmaid to load all of the 300+ apps each time.

I only wish you could include a startup manager(no.root needed) so one can stop apps like spotify. Other than that, app is super and no issues so far. Thanks to the devs!

Top Notch App, digs deeper than all the other "cleaner" apps out there and is much more versatile. Have been using SD Maid for many years. Go "Pro" for the best experience. Excellent.

Used this app for 2 years now with no real issues. Suggest an undo button or closest you can get. Need to review items before deleting. Need info on root per device. I haven't heard of a better device scrubber than this one.

Temp 1 Star - I paid for Pro version in-app and now the app doesn't seem to recognise that I've done this and is asking me to purchase it again to use the related features. When I try to download the Pro unlocker version, it also asks for payment. Should I be concerned that I've been defrauded a payment?

AppCleaner stalls on Greenify and Dumpster and ultimately skips them so they're excluded. Questionable if this cleans SD card cache. Best I've found of its kind but support is lethargic.
