This is due to problems with permissions. It should be fixed with 6.0, however, there are still ways for apps to access the SD card, but the dev doesn't appear to implement a fix on this. The app doesn't appear to know how to create its own directory
First, it was difficult to select my SD card rather than internal storage. Second, it had an error and could not perform a test. Third, before I could close down the app the whole thing crashed. It also doesn't seem to attempt to verify size, which is what I'm looking for in an SD card tool.
On note 3 it can only test the internal storage and does not detect the actual external sd card. Thats understandable as its impossible for the dev to test on every device out there. On the samsung note 3 the path ahould be /storage/extSdCard . Nevertheless the results are consistent.
Have a note 10.1 2014 and tested with this app a micro sd 64 gb coz it unmounts all the time it shows nothing is wrong unfortunately it unmounts I put in 32 gb and never unmounted so I know it's the sd cards fault it's a sandisc I've tried other apps 1 has responded giving them full stars for responding even when they couldn't solve it if u do solve it ide pay full version so I know every sd card I put in I won't have troubles so then if u want stars I'll give u 1 month to respond thank you
Confusing. Shows info on phone's emulated SD but I could not figure out how to change to real SD. GUI partially corrupted. Will remove very soon
Really cool. But do Not work on Android 5.0+....😐 Maybe Developer has forgotten this app😁 No other software can view my sd card inside information like serial number, brand name etc. SO love this app❤️❤️❤️ as it worked on kitkat version...But not on current version
Said my phone write at 200mb and reads at 600mb. I don't think so.
Update is needed for compatibility with 4.4 external storage policy because most users do not have rooted phones.
I can't check my sd cars coz error writing buffer pls fix it. Thanks
On Samsung Core Prime and 32 GB card, it shows around 300 MB/s write and 750 MB/s read which cannot be correct, cannot send results either
Didn't recognize extra sd only internal. Which is obviously legit.
Completely wrong results. Also, the info displayed is mostly from external card, but doesn't differentiate from internal card.
Says my card read/write speed is 287mbs write and 689mbs read. Either its bits and not bytes or this app is wrong.
Error writing to ext sd card.. known kit Kat issue. But would be nice if someone could solve Google Crapo
does not fit screen of my Samsung Galaxy Rugby LTE properly. working with it a-bit, now dislike it. gives different results every time its run.
Waste of time n bandwidth to have downloaded this crappy app doesn't even work a bit
Massively inaccurate on my Zenfone 2 ze551ml . Reported read speed of 780 MB/s, which is about 10-20X what is physically possible. Reported write speed of 74.1 MB/s, which is probably 2-4x what is physically possible.
Really found out my sd control and writing capability. Awesome job developer.
Didn't even automatically detect my external storage because i have internal as well and expects me to manually put the correct path in.
After doing the test my card started to suddenly unmount and mount again and then it DIED :(
It works well for checking internal speeds but takes a masters degree to test your external card. I found it a good app for those who can find their external.
Didn't work on Galaxy S8+. It only recognized my internal SDcard. Thanks for the attempt though.
The speed test shows sd card speeds 3 to 5 times faster than what the manufacturer advertises, come on
It did what it was mentioned to do but I expected little more like how much space is used by apps, audio' visual :
Does exactly nothing apart from a speed test. Don't bother with it not worth the time it took to read this comment
This helps me find the correct path to read and write and speed test unless the parent path is incorrect. Cool stuff.
EXCELLENT, it found my external San disk micro SD card automatically and performed accurate readings on the read/write tests. Excellent. Android itself gives me less interactivity and other apps can't even recognize my card. THANKS to the developer of this app, I now know the problems of moving apps to my external card is not the fault of the card itself. (using Nextbook 8 tablet)
