SDA Hymnal

It's a great app, I love the fluidity of the all the features. The "search a hymnal name" feature though in my opinion needs to be a little more faster and also you guys should include a feature in which were we can create folders of the songs we like. The favorites feature is nice but I want to create a folder for myself.

Indeed this is the best app. i use it for my worship twice a day l love to sing along with the music as i worship alone. i have learned new hymns and thanks to the music remembered old ones. I love the fact that the produced responded immediately to my concerns to this amazing app shows that they care thank you so much for enriching my worship experence. those of you who are experincing problem with this app simply update it it really works. I also love the no adds feature.

I like the functions it has, the lyrics and ability to play the songs. But there is one big flaw I really hope you fix. When searching for hymns, the search results are often not helpful at all. I can put in the title or first line of a hymn, but have to scroll through a bunch of other songs to find the one I want. I think your search function needs to prioritize titles and first lines, rather than treating all the text with equal weight.

The UI is great, it's minimalistic and offers direct to the point features. You should update the app since I have this trouble downloading the MIDIs. It stops after every 15 downloads and there are hundreds of midis even if it's only 16 mbs. I suggest to consolidate it to a single filw download and let the system extract it to individual files after so that download will be faster. Still the best SDA Hymnal app in the store though! I loved this app & used it regularly. However, now the midi tunes will not down load. Have no Idea what the reason is. But can no longer use the app for song services

Excellent app, love it. It's a bit tricky to use, in regards to switching from old to new but when you get the hang of it, It's great.

Wish this app had bigger fonts, they are too small specially when sharing and multiple pleople viewing the hymns. Too small on phone and tablet. A font size slider would be nice. It would nice if it had syncing so I can have my favorite songs from my tablet on my phone. Besides that the app is nice, but I can probably get the apps files transfer to another manually.

My only criticism is that we should be able to have an account where we can login and have access to our favorites acrhived in the cloud. Otherwise every time we get a new phone, factory reset, or reinstall the app, we would loose access to all of our beloved humns. Wouldn't be a big deal if I knew every song by heart, but you know sometimes you find a new song you really like and then later you're susceptible to loosing it. However, besides that I think this is the best app in this caegory.

Can no longer use the app for devotional song service because the tunes no longer play. I learnt a lot of songs through this app. I was hoping to learn more but it keeps saying the download fail whenever I try to play the tunes.

Good app! Love that it has both old and new hymns. Some of the words are different from what's in the actual hymn book but it's a good thing you can edit the words here in the app. It would be great if the instrumentals for the old hymns could be added as well. Otherwise, it works just fine.

Good and simple graphics/fonts . I love the color and font type. The downside however is always having to download the midi/audio player every few days. Can something be done about a one time midi download?

Unfortunately this app causes my S9 Plus screen to glitch and go black. Installed app and it was great, but my phone screen started not turning on when it powers off to save battery. Green glitchy screen and trouble turning phone on. Uninstalled this app and phone works fine now. Very sad because this was the nicest SDA Hymnal app for Android!! Some sort of conflict with my phone's operating system or something. Otherwise, fantastic app!!

Very good just that, at the back of the hymnal there are insirational prayer if you add those prayers it will be perfect

The SDA Hymnal app provides the old and new hymnals, which makes the search a little easier, and satisfies the desire for a particular hymn. It's a good feeling to have my hymnal along side my Bible on my phone, tablet and laptop. So which ever gadget I have at hand, my Hymnal, Bible and SSQ are with me. I have my tools for worship at all times. I love that. The hymns play a pivotal role in the worship experience. Very importantly, you may not be able to memorize a particular hymn which you really need at that very special moment, on the bus, at work, or wherever you are. thanks for the app, it's right there on your phone, tablet or computer. Praise the Lord.

Excellent app. I have access to both the old and new SDA hymnals. Only thing, there are some errors in the old hymnal, but you're not allowed to edit it like the new. So the developers should at least allow users to highlight the errors and make the corrections.

This app is great. I especially like the feature where you can edit the lyrics should you find any discrepencies. I also like that you can send the lyrics to a hymn, from either the old or new hymnal, via email which proves very helpful on Sabbaths when the multimedia team doesnt have the lyrics to a specific hymn.

- I try playing the tunes for some songs and it fails completely. - For some songs, tunes delay to play. - It brings irrelevant outcomes when you search a hymn title. Please try to improve on these and the app will be perfect. Thanks.

Love the app. However, my biggest issue is with finding hymns. If you don't put the name in the search box correctly you may not find the hymn you're looking for. Also, how is one supposed to know to put a zero before a two digit hymn to locate that particular hymn? You wouldn't except through trial and error. Otherwise, nice app.

A fantastic app honestly but the bad thing about it is the search engine. It's so hard to find what you type in the search box even if it is the exact title you typed. They give unrelated titles leaving what you want.Even if you find what you want,it will be at the bottom of the search. It makes it very irritating. Pls work on it

I have been using this App for sometime now and have discoverd that the wordings to some of the hymns have been changed when compared to the hard copy. Please update and make the hymns in sync with the original version, because it is embarassing singing a different wordings. Also there're no scriptural readings, calls to worship and words of assurance that are used during worship included. Please add them to the update. My regards.

Bad search system. This would have gotten 5 stars if when I typed in the names of hymns the search results accurately reflected it. It only accurately shows hymn numbers, and I can't remember all the hymn numbers. It gets quite frustrating when I'm trying to find a hymn and have to Google it. I do love everything else though

Thank you for this app. My plea is that you create an option to log in so that favorite hymnals may be synced. Whenever I change phones, I have to start all over in terms of adding favorites. Otherwise, God bless you for your wonderful works.

I love this app 💕. Very simple to use, and I love everything about it. I especially like the base theme preferences, and that I can add my favorite hymns.......also I am glad that I can have access to the old hymnal. I had downloaded other SDA Hymnals, but this one is my favorite, so I am sticking with this one....it is the best! God's blessings to the developer of this app. Good job! 😃

Good app old, new hymnal with audio to back it up my 1 draw back it can't be sync with my other devices and no back up and restore feature then it would be perfect for me. However I highly recommend this app

The only issue I have is that I keep getting random notifications that the sabbath has begun in my area even though it hasn't. but when Sabbath does begin, I get no notification. Aside from that, it's an amazing app!

I'm so disappointed. I downloaded the app clicked on it and it is stuck on "setting up" hymnal for over a day. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. It is totally unusable. Since the update it works perfectly. Highly recommend. Thank you so much.

i usually download midis because past download are not working, i don't know why this happen.. but the music and included features are actually nice and very good.. i still appreciate the app, but i wish to fix my trouble experience regarding midis.

Enjoy this app. I find it very useful when I need to hear inspirational music or need to refresh my memory. Also I can hear the music to help me keep the timing correctly.
