SDA Sabbath School Quarterly
This app provides you with all of the Sabbath School quarterlies for the current and previous three quarters. It lets you take notes, and it remembers the notes for later when you are taking part in the discussion during Sabbath school. The app allows you to hone in on the specific week and day of study and enables you to move from one day to another with a tap or swipe of your finger.
This app is absolutely free. All content is produced by the SDA church. The in-app payment functionality mentioned by Play store exists as a way to accept donations for creating and maintaining this app.

Great app. However, if the Bible font size can be adjustable to smaller font than the current, personally, I will like it better. Also if the previous link with the MySword App was working wonderfully for me since MySword app has more desirable features than the in app bibles, eg, more versions, commentaries, dictionaries etc. If the option could be restored, i would appreciate...
I have been downloading this quarterly for years, and was always extremely satisfied. However, with this edition, when I try to highlight a section, the page "jumps" around. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Nothing changes. Very disappointing. The apps easy to use, and improves with each addition, but this bug is irritating. Before, i would have rated it a 5. But not this one.
The latest update is phenomenal! When I initially used the updated version I experienced a tremendous improvement in the presentation of the content and overall navigation. I was thrilled that notes and highlights from the previous version were transferable. The next day some features stopped working and the developer responded in less than 24 hrs. that a fix was coming soon. The next day the app was working again. Kudos on a great app and great customer service!! A contribution is on the way!!
I used to love this app but since the latest update it will no longer save my notes. It keeps the notes for the week up until I attend Sabbath school, then, when I open to the prior weeks lesson all my notes are gone, just when I need them. This is very frustrating. Before the update I had no problem. It also does not allow you to highlight just the areas in the text that you want. If these problems were fixed I would give it five stars. I would love the app if it weren't for these problem.
One of the best SSQ apps that I've used. Its linked with a Bible that highlights the very verse you are reading at that very moment! Great idea! It has a summary page for teachers. And it allows you to write down notes. I wish however, that it will allow one to highlight lines in color even if limited. I don't know if it's possible to increase the font? It's just a very well thought of app overall.
Graphically, the update is nice, but I lost the connection with my Bible of preference, that being the You Version Bible, for which the previous version of this app seemed to interface with very smoothly. I truly enjoyed that flexibility which, as it would appear now, is no longer available by way of the SSQ Application. Still, and regardless, the update is rather user friendly, although it takes a few moments to get used to the aesthetic changes. There is an extremely nice flow to the application, thought the built in Bibles do not permit the sharing of content with Social Media. All in all, nice upgrade, save the few items I mentioned.
It is a useful app so I can use the S.S. quarterly digitally , but has some issues. The biggest one is that when viewing the Bible verses, the whole app frequently crashes. Also, when I type in the app, the viewing area (to accomodate the on-screen keyboard) moves randomly, makingit difficult to see the question I'm trying to answer.
It's good but some issues. The audio is a good feature but cuts out a lot of the time. The lesson also does not feature the cover of the lesson which allows you to know what the lesson is about and the titles of dayly lessons get cut off which makes it more difficult to know the theme of that day. It also is missing information about the mission and mission offering. If these get fixed I will change my rating to 5 starts.
Love the app, very useful. However the new format makes it difficult to navigate or use. Now its feels like a lump of text in wordpad rather than an easy to use App. Especially when you are busy sharing or checking stuff it now takes one's whole attention thereby disrupting instead of adding value. Please revert back to old format.
This is a very wonderful app. I love it. I'd have given it 5-stars but I don't like the way the I have to fight to modal to close after highlighting. I wish you make it in a way that it closes when I tap on Save. Otherwise, I have to fight to tap outside it and yet it covers over 80% of the screen.
The update pushed on 11/ 27 deletet all my lessons notes. I was upset but I really liked the new features. Another update pushed on 11/29 that wiped out all scripture reference needed to complete the lesson. Also, instead of highlighting choosen data it deletes it. Please work out the glitches...to make it a great app! All issues were addressed successfully. Updates definitely improved the app! Love that more bible translations are available within the app! Great job! Thank you!
I've never written a review for an app, but this morning I experienced the overhauled version Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being able to go back to previous lessons for the year and seeing the next quarter!!! The audio version!!! Congrats this has been brought to the next level. Thank You!!!!
The new update looks good but is a big step backwards functionally. The ability to link to my sword Bible app is lost. The simplicity of swiping between days and weeks has been complicated and is much harder to use. When you open the app for Sabbath school it defaults to next week's lesson then you have to go into settings and look up the quarterly and lesson (which is not labelled by date)
Great app overall but a few glitches. Some links to YouVersion Bible app are broken or misplaced, somtimes the Bible verses don't have links on them at all, and links that have multiples verses only open up one verse. The app also crashes if you attempt to look at a lesson further than about 2 months back. Other than that, clean layout, and being able to write notes throughout the lesson is great 👍
I have had no problems with this app except that when it links to a verse in Philippians, it wants to go to Philemon. Also there are occasional verses that don't have links. For those having issues with the layout of the app after an update, as my daughter was, she uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and that fixed it!
I did not like this app. First, you have to download a separate bible app. Also, there were multiple times when I completed my study for the day, but the next day all my notes disappeared. Even worse, there were multiple occasions where I clicked on the app and I was in a completely different quarterly even though the app worked perfectly the previous day. :(
Some glitches like title not showing and some scripture links not working properly but this app is absolutely something that I rely on in my every day life. Thank you for your ministry. It allows most things that are necessities such as changing formats, night view, and shortcut to audio. Could be better bit does exactly what I need it to do including shortcuts to teachers guides. Best thing to do is donate so that these guys can continue improving this free app.
Hello,LOVE the application and the updates you have brought to it. I have just one problem with it,may we as users be able to download other bible versions to it eg NIV,ESV to the application and switch between versions for a better understanding and use of it. Not only for ourselves but for those whom we wish to reach out with Scripture as well. I pray for a speedy response. Thank you.
I use this app all the time. The Bible verses aren't always formatted to have working links. Also, EVERY Sabbath - of all days - the page jumps back randomly 2 or 3 weeks so you have to go looking for the day you're actually on. Also, the Bible app that is linked to the quarterly is out of date and either needs to be updated or replaced.
This is an awesome app!! I love it!! I've always had it on every android phone I've owned so far but for some reason it ALWAYS crashes on my current Redmi 5 Plus phone. I always get a notification that 'Sabbath School Quarterly has stopped'. I really miss using it...I hope it's not because of the phone I have now because it's still works perfectly on my old Samsung phone.
Very great app and user friendly but have problem with the caption display, in most of the lessons caption some parts do not appear especially the later parts making it difficult to understand so I wish you work on it as urgent. Thank you
A real blessing with detailed studies bringing us closer to the Lord as the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth. Essential app for any Christian looking for detailed daily devotionals. No adverts and very simple and efficient to use with clear text, option to add notes and edit, thought provoking questions, links to external Bible apps so that you can read in your preferred version (KJV for example) and lovely and various colours and illustrations when changing themes or topics every Sabbath.
Can we please revert to the original version? It was easier to navigate. This new version is just too much with decreased screen space and less maneuverability. However, please keep the bible feature accessibility and the new colors for highlighting.
This app is excellent. The only problem I have with it is the ASV Bible that is linked to the lessons. May I suggest the ESV instead - an accurate & reliable translation, in current English. After all, the Bible writers used the current language, (Hebrew, Aramaic, or Koine Greek), not some old outdated language, as in the KJV, ASV, & similar versions.
I reluctantly switched back to Version 4 As the Version 5 update is a real pain to use.. It's getting better now but it's still buggy (please Fix it?). 🙏🏻 😊 ~~ The offline Bibles don't show unless you have an Internet connection... and the font in "the Bible" should be independently able to adjust, as it's too small if you use the normal font of the app itself. And, It would be good to get an option to use Your Bible as one of the Bible version options also.
I would have rated this as 5 stars if it wasn't for the lacking title for each week. Even if I try to rotate the screen the remaining words for the week's title still won't appear. Other than everything is awesome. I've been using this app for a long time now though this is the only time I wrote a review for it.
I've been using this for quite a while now, and have found it very useful. Integration with the Bible makes it very convenient. The only problems are a few formatting issues, such as with quotes and bylines, and occassional texts not being hyperlinks.
Perhaps the crashing is deliberate, a feature to get us to consider hard copies again. 😃😃😃 Nice one Stefan. 🤣 Noticed the last update is August. I suppose you have plenty on your plate. The app is crashing way too often is almost unusable now. If you are in need of an extra pair of hands to fix the bugs and take the app back to its great user experience please do notify (at NO fee of course). I know a great many lives this app has impacted. Mine included.
